U are coreect , but that of corporate mail, there was an advert sometime last year or so, the advert has no corporate mail just gmail.com and the advert goes like this "an oil and gas service company is in need of so-so-and-so position" people commented badly that an oil company without corporate mail that are they selling red oil or g/nut oil. So I gave it a trial and applied, my people to my greatest surprise after a week, they invited me with their corporate mail. I got there mehnn it was confirmed oil and gas services company. Their receptionist either an american or British ushered me in with a cup of coffee. So sometimes its good to give stuffs a trial hence nobody is demanding money from you.
Another example, my current job its an Event Management. When the advert came on nairaland, no corporate mail just gmail, when I applied I was invited, before going, I contemplated whether to go or not, I decided to give it a trial, bcs I thought it just all these GNLD stuffs, I even dressed casual, mehnn when I got there a very big office, others wore suits. So at the end I was successful.
Boss I know ur point which is GNLD or all these marketing stuffs. Another example, where I worked before, anytime they need urgent position, they will tell me, then I will come on nairaland to advertise it with my mail. I know some nairalanders that does same. In all, we all should be very careful, anytime u see an invite try to Google it
