Why perfume oil?
They last longer.
The actual perfume elements and extracts in oil fragrances are far more concentrated than those in standard alcohol-based eau de toilettes and perfumes, which contain only a small amount of true fragrance diluted with alcohol and other fillers. Oils tend to “stick” to the skin and linger, whereas many standard perfumes are actually better applied to clothing for longer wear as fabrics give them something to cling to.

They’re less likely to be irritating on skin.

Oil fragrances are typically packaged as rollerballs, which you then apply to warm areas like your wrists, inside of your elbow, behind your ears, and the back of your neck (Liv Tyler suggests applying it inside your belly button!). You can apply as much or as a little of the scent as you want, allowing for total control. Standard alcohol-based perfumes in spray bottles often feel like they’re being wasted, especially when you’re spraying it into the air and walking through the resulting mist. A cheap alcohol-based perfume almost always smells like just that, but you can pick up a great-smelling one-note oil fragrance for less than #5000

They’re less overpowering.
It’s true that the higher concentration in oil fragrances often makes them smell stronger and richer, but they’re less likely than alcohol-based perfumes to leave behind a sillage or trail. If you’re sensitive to overbearing fragrance that feel like you’re walking around in a cloud of scent, oils are the perfect solution. They stay close to the skin and radiate outward thanks to the warmth of your pulse points, but you’ll feel like you’re wearing a scent rather than having a scent wear you.

U are coreect , but that of corporate mail, there was an advert sometime last year or so, the advert has no corporate mail just gmail.com and the advert goes like this "an oil and gas service company is in need of so-so-and-so position" people commented badly that an oil company without corporate mail that are they selling red oil or g/nut oil. So I gave it a trial and applied, my people to my greatest surprise after a week, they invited me with their corporate mail. I got there mehnn it was confirmed oil and gas services company. Their receptionist either an american or British ushered me in with a cup of coffee. So sometimes its good to give stuffs a trial hence nobody is demanding money from you.
Another example, my current job its an Event Management. When the advert came on nairaland, no corporate mail just gmail, when I applied I was invited, before going, I contemplated whether to go or not, I decided to give it a trial, bcs I thought it just all these GNLD stuffs, I even dressed casual, mehnn when I got there a very big office, others wore suits. So at the end I was successful.
Boss I know ur point which is GNLD or all these marketing stuffs. Another example, where I worked before, anytime they need urgent position, they will tell me, then I will come on nairaland to advertise it with my mail. I know some nairalanders that does same. In all, we all should be very careful, anytime u see an invite try to Google it
