chloride6: . What are you talking about? This is man who believes that polio vaccinations make women infertile . Before you question the veracity of this claim, wiki is your friend

He should not have dabbled into that if what you said is true, he is not a medical doctor.
...but He is the education minister, there's nothing you can do about it.

Romance / Re: Why I Prefer White Girls Over Nigerian Girls by bokoslayer: 2:24pm On Jul 09, 2014
I don't know the kind of black gyals you've been with, but black gyals are really sweet bro (both in love and in care).
Just in the kpomo department alone, black gyals (I mean African gyals) carry the day and when it comes to swag, white gyals wan turn black by force o, trust me.

Two things most men generally look out of for in women are mostly found on black gyals:

1. The biggest yanshes would always be found on a black gyal, you might want to argue.

2. The freshest pawpaw that would make your eyes bulge like Segun Arinze's is mostly found on the chest of a black gyal!

desgiezd:

You will soon discover to your utter disappointment that Shekarau was appointed so that he could do the 2015 groundworks for GEJ in Kano. He is not there to help Nigerian education grow but purely for politics!

He would definitely work with GEJ and also do the work he's been assigned to do; which is excelling in a ministry where known Professors have failed woefully.

He was a teacher, he is now a politician. There are some ministries that you don't need politicians to handle. Its an open knowledge that he was appointed there for 2015 elections. Kano had almajiris as teacher governor. Is that an applause?
Let's differentiate btw politics and good governance.

People talk as if all politicians are riff-raffs, some of them have performed more than your so-called professionals. This is a guy that has got all his experience from the Education sector, being a former governor/politician would not take his professional experience as Mathematics teacher and Education administrator away from him.

You may not agree with me but Mallam Shekarau is a round peg in a round hole.

Meringe: Education Ministry shouldn't be in the hands of politicians, it should be for tacticians and core educators. The most important sector of the society. Japan and china have no oil but the are one of the leading economy cos they invested in education. I thought GEJ would have make a good appointment on this but I'm disappointed.
Its not all about next election but our future as a country!!!

Mallam Shekarau has been a teacher all his life. Who else would fit that ministry other than a teacher?

Romance / Re: Nairalanders Share Your Blind Dates Experience Here by bokoslayer: 2:20pm On Jul 08, 2014
This happened when I was visiting one of the cities in the North West
Can I call this a blind date? Went for a sunday service at one of the Christ Embassy churches and this goddess walked past me, I did not see the face but I saw the aa.ss (it was neatly wrapped in white skirt). I tried so hard to catch a glimpse of her face but I couldn't cos that point was when first-timers (of which I was one) were called so I could not capture what she looked like.

I spoke to my friend that I followed to the church about my aa.ss-tounding encounter and fortunately they are friends. My friend would not give me this girl's number so I had to take her number off his phone without him knowing.

I searched for her on social media (facebook, twitter, instagram etc) but couldn't find her. Luckily I found her on linkedin but how am I supposed to start toasting a girl on a website that's meant for professional networking! That was a no-no.

I decided to text her from one of the coded sim cards I use to make international calls cos I wanted to go incognito.

I was damn too plain - told her I saw her back in church on the said sunday and that I was sure the prayers I said that day were not answered cos I started sinning in my mind right from the moment I saw her - I thought that was a bad line but actually it was a proper ice-breaker! It made us start the conversation on a dirty note! Oh boy, I knew right away this dawg got the cream smiley

We arranged a meet-up and we hooked up in her town on Halloween night. Mehn, the babe gorg! She be chale (Ghanian).

Went for a meal, then drinks and I begged her to come with me to a Halloween party I was meant to attend in a neighboring town.

It was a crazy party with lots of drinks. As the devil would have it, we had to book a hotel in the area around 2.30am.

To cut the long story short, this dawg tried his luck (as per naija boy now) and he got all the cream you can think of (Single cream, double cream, whipping cream smiley etc)

I couldn't believe my luck, I knew it was one-off though as she never gave me the opportunity to come close to her used sanitary pad not to talk of her panties again smiley

I spent another 6 months asking her out before she finally agreed to be my girlfriend. We are history now but I can never forget the experience, it was pure bliss grin grin grin

But if dem like, make dem continue struggle with Ajumobi...

Footlocker: Most of the nigerian peeps coming uk (London,England precisely)! That passed through my house all happened to have loaded parents/relatives! So survival was not an issue for them! If your parents or whoever can afford to pay such astronomical tuition fees in bulk which the british education system love so much clearly you ain't got no worries! The way nigerians sent/send money for their offspring in the diaspora baffled me! So I don't no what this thread is about! Student loans / student grants paid MY fees! Then of course street money gave that luxury you can't get otherwise!

hmmm...what is street money?

Sincere 9gerian: So according to Dele Momodu, the Ekiti election was a personality clash between Fayose and Fayemi, and has nothing to do with political parties? But the same Fayose contested for a senatorial post in the 2011 elections under the platform of Labour Party and lost SUCCESSFULLY. So what changed between the elections in 2011 and 2014?

APC liars and propagandists, telling lies since 1804!
