caseless: same verse code(matt.12 vs 21), four different meaning/interpretation/wordings and 4 different versions of the bible and, u have the guts to put them here to make the bible more ambigous and contradictory. Bow ur head in shame!

I'm sure you went to one of those Islamic Universities or madrassah. You can't understand these things if you don't have good education.

How else do you want to inteprete the wordings of the three different bible versions I quoted? What they've stated clearly is Jesus brought hope to the world, not sword and violence as you've implied in your previous post.

jesus said " i came no to send peace, but a sword" (matt. 12 : 21). Should we now judge jesus or xtainity by this? Yes!!
Again, jesus was never killed nor died. If jesus is the saviour/GOD, he cud have saved himself.
NB: i love jesus like i love muhammad.

Why do you people just tell blatant lies just to equate Christianity with your violent religion and its inventor? (FYI - your religion is an invention)

Before, you unclean and dirty things twist the words of the bible, now you just change the wordings and lie out-rightly!

This is what Mathew 12 vs 21 says in three different versions (Read and bury your head in shame, Jesus brought the message of Hope)

And his name will be the hope of all the world - Mathew 12 vs 21 New Living Translation (NLT)

In his name the nations will put their hope - Mathew 12 vs 21 New International Version (NIV)

And in His name Gentiles will trust - Mathew 12 vs 21 New King James Version (NKJV)

The other day in Lagos I saw two females in the scorching heat dressed in full black hijab - the garment of choice for the female suicide bombers plaguing Nigeria now.

Do we need to do away with this garment of oppression, and now destruction?

This is an invitation for Jihad. The blood thirsty lot will just hit the streets and kill all kill-ables. Let them have the hijab pls

bloodykiller: Withdraw so that they hamas will bomb them to ashes?

Bro its not like that if Isreal cease fire now as you said they hamas wont because they will be seeking revenge of their killed members and maybe by the time you know it half of isreal is gone to dust and the world will only condemn them with mouth as usual at the end of the day the deed is done.
Isreal will never take that chances.
Give a terrorist a chance you're gone so the best way is to bombard them to weakness its their fault of any civilian dies because they use them as human shield and in war its ccalled collateral damage.

I doubt hamas will ever cease fire willingly

Infact most of these 'innocent civilians' are potential Hamas cell leaders. There would always be collateral damage in times of war. Israel never invaded gaza, gaza requested this destruction.

Well, perhaps it seems you're oblivious to the real world. A country called, "Israel" has been doing that for decades now. Heck, they even blockade the folks into something that looks like an open-air prison. However, how has that stop anything? It only made them stronger and vicious - and it's now a cycle.

The only option is to exterminate every single one them. And you and I know that's impossible. So why not let them be, and give peace a chance? You don't go about killing people just because you don't agree with their way of life, especially when they're not troubling you. Then expect them not to fight back.

The question is: are you prepared for them if and when they decide to fight back? You can use boko haram as a case study of what will happen.

Fight back? Make no mistake, they have always been the aggressor. This people will attack you and when you retaliate they will start screaming blue murder to curry sympathy. If Israel had not been resolute in dealing with this people with brute force, there would not have been a nation called Israel today; so in a way, the military tactics Israel employed against them is 100% effective.

Please, stop making it out as if these people are peaceful, they never are and will never be.

Didn't they also kill off boko haramites before they became the vandals they're today? And don't tell porkies because I saw the video on worldstarhiphop when I was in uni. Those guy were on the ground and they shot every single one of them dead.

Anyway, I just found these links on the internet: https://www.ctc.usma.edu/posts/the-islamic-movement-and-iranian-intelligence-activities-in-nigeria

http://www.irantracker.org/military-activities/qods-force-operation-africa

^^^You lot are about to open another Islamic terrorism front when you have one that keeps smashing military formations everywhere. I just hope someone negotiates with these folks before it gets out of hand for peace to reign.

Yar Adua never finished the job, he chickened out on mop-up operations. From this moment, even pregnancies with extremist tendencies shall be aborted. We can watch extremism grow right under our noses.

Did you also say negotiate? These people are not to be negotiated with, the only language they understand is violence; they hit you once, make sure you hit them 1000 times harder.

I'd even suggest the military goes hunting for the rest of them, some may call it extra judicial killing but I call it killing to prevent future pogrom

sbaks: nope! I'm a christian! BUT that is the truth. These abokis are problematic (probably due to their religion) but it doesn't mean we don't need them. Some of them are good and honest traders unlike some southerners. It's just that religion I have problem with. It is a religion of terrorism. If you have been on nairaland before the attack on nairaland and have read my comments, you would be calling me a CHRISTIAN FANATIC. I hate ISLAM (not hausas)

I'd rather deal with southerners that will over-invoice than some 'honest northern muslim bigot' that will slit throat cos of the war in Gaza.

This is how any organization with extremist tendencies should be treated. Wipe them out while they are trying to morph into a terrorist organization and then conduct a weekly/monthly mop up. The follow-up action was what Yar-Adua missed when he dealt with BH initially.

WombRaiders:

Article 26 demands disarmament and reduced military expenditures as a precondition for increased security, development, and peace. Article 26 places the Security Council at the centre of enforcing disarmament and redirecting resources away from military security and towards human security.

It has nothing to do with mandating declaration on military procurement or acquisition.

Politics / Re: History 103-Yorubas In 1993 Election;sheer Cowardice Or Selective Bravery by bokoslayer: 6:34am On Jul 25, 2014
BuddahMonk: Where were Yoruba warriors and strongmen when MKO Abiola the winner of the annulled June 1993 general election in Nigeria declared himself president elect?

Its on record that the Igbos that played decisive and important roles in that election have been forgotten by the Yorubas but they keep overflogging the person who was used to truncate the budding democratic process.

Its on record that an Igboma, Prof Humphery Nwosu risked his life, stared death on the face despite all threats and intimidation from the military government of Ibrahim Babaginda to rigg the election in favour of his tribeman Alh Bashir Tofa so that power will remain in North.
Nwosu rejected all gratifications, subdued all threats, put his live in danger, his job in jeopardy and all manner of intimidations went ahead to declare a yorobaman MKO Abiola the winner of the election.

Later the election was cancelled despite being hailed by international and local observers as the freest and fairest election so far held in Nigeria.

Abiola the winner of the cancelled election was not happy, and in a haste to grab power by all means necceasry declared himself president elect.
Its was on record that when MKO Abiola was declared himself president elect that he stood in the middle of two strong and brave Igbomen, Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi but none of his kinsmen was nowhere to be found, his kinsmen bolted and left him to his fate but those brave Igbomen were there for him.

Obioha and Nwosisi put their lives in jeopardy like Nwosu, raised his hands up as the elected president which was against the electoral law.
The crowd that gathered to cheer him up were lagosians of mixed ethnicity. In a twist of event the Yorubas left IBB and turned the heat on Arthur Nzeribe who was used to truncate the transition, it was on record that IBB was the person who directed Nzeribe to file an injunction and everybody knows how the judicial system in a military government operate.
Injuction was granted and Abiola was never made the president.

My question is why did the Yorubas keep blaming an Igboman Nzeribe for playing the devil's role but tuned blind eyes seeing the devil himself on his throne.
Why are they are finding it extremely and very difficult to tell IBB the sins he committed?

Why did the Yorubas forget so soo the sacrifices the likes of Nwosu, Obioha and Nwosisi made toward making sure Abiola emerged president yet Nzeribe's injuction i and the entire Igbos the people were whom they keep pointing accusing fingers at, why are they scared of calling out the Gambaris?

Sheer Cowardice, selective bravery when they hear Igbos or inferiority complex at the mention of the Gambaris

I am Yoruba and we are guilty as charged. On the other hand, Yorubas repay traitors silently though.
Politics / Re: How Come Buhari(people's General) Could Afford Those Bullet Proof Jeeps? by bokoslayer: 6:16am On Jul 25, 2014
pro01: The OP asked a simple and legitimate question, but rather than answer with FACTS, some clowns here resorted to diversionary quips about "poverty mentality" and all that rubbish. Many Nigerians criminalise poverty, and this is a big reason why people try to make money at all costs and by any means - leading to the problem of corruption and crime that you hypocrites conplain about.

What has poverty got to do with the OP's question? If you know exactly how Buhari acquired his bullet-proof SUV(s), why not enlighten us, rather than resort to senseless rants about poverty - whilst dodging the main question?

Thanks brother. There are no stupid questions! The guy asked very logical questions and dem APC-Ebola Virus strains descended on him like he has not made any sense. What are the benefits if a former president? Are bulletproof SUVs worth hundreds of millions part of it?

I'm sure if it was Obasanjo, they'd scream corruption.

The funny thing again is, they started giving conflicting answers as to how he got it - one said it was a gift from Kano State Govt, another said Almakura(Nassarawa Gov) bought it for him. These APC viruses are just unbelievable. Buhari might be entitled to some privileges as a former junta that truncated democracy but ridiculously expensive bulletproof SUVs ain't part of it. Shame on you supporters of APC, your hypocrisy and double standards make hell smell like lavender!
