The palliatives Nigerians need is to subsidise transport y providing busee at reasonable fares, provide food at affordable prices, get information about unemployed people in order to provide social services for them. I weep for my great country anytime I passed through Oshodi. Over 500 boys are there as micreants. If your Vehicle break down on the road you are in soup, even during the day. Please, Government help all these young Nigerians. Rehabilitate them. They're supposed to be the future of our great country called NIGERIA.

I actually expected the president to remove half that is is there was any effective palliative measures on ground and then slowly remove it completely later after blocking the acclaimed loopholes. The hardship is really telling on the poor masses...He should also look into the agriculture sector seriously..provide enough securities for the farmers so that there will be food at affordable prices. Yes, he's the current ECOWAS chairman,fine ,but he should give his most attention to the Nigerian current economy. Too bad. Imagine, Dollar is almost 1k. Haba! Honestly,I feel so bad when I see the value of our money compared to all these foreign currencies. Government needs to really do something about it. This country used to be great when I was growing up. How did we get here. O Lord, please help this country. Things are really hard for the people. I mean really hard.

Honestly,the drainage blockage is a big concern. I say a lot of plastic bottles,saxhe water nylons,ordinary nylons and so many things around Lagos in the drainage. Really, Lagos state Government need to check all these thing around. People should be engaged to check around and report to the appropriate authorities. It's an eye saw, honestly

For me,our problem is not about increasing salaries but price controls mechanism. There should be a way of controlling the indiscriminate prices of things by the Government as it is being done in developed countries. Once, Government do the rightful things prices will be controlled reasonably. A good example was when the BRT stuff started with reasonable fare like N70 or so for Short or half journey,the other Danfos were almost begging commuters to onboard them because the BRT fare was good. Government should do the needful, people are really surffering .

I will implore my brothers and sisters in Islam not to engage themselves in unnecessary argument argument with non Muslims. We just need to educate them in a refined and matured way.

I think I concur with Rev father Mathew Kukah who was reported to have said that amongst the three major contenders for the presidency, PBAT is the only prepared candidate because he has been nursing the ambition since 1993 after MKO Abiola was denied the seat. You can only give what you have. I think PBAT understands the game... politically and economically.
