Goodday wonderful people of Nairaland,
Its been kind of confusing, me, my husband and my 4month old son wants to leave Nigeria with the study and hopefully migrate program, but the problem is we are confuse and don't know where to pick.
We have limited fund
A place we can raise our son
No racism
Allowed to work
Affordable accomodation
And in Europe
Please only experience persons
Thanks

If you meet the requirements for Canada Express Entry, go for it. The least required amount for a single person is around $12k I think, you can check the CIC website (cic.gc.ca) for the requirements and the funds that needs to be in your account. You can also go through the study permit route, the least required amount is $25k.

You can also check out some Europe countries like Norway and Finland.

Thank you!

Hello everyone,
Please I'd like to ask some questions. I am visiting SA so as to apply for the Lithuania type D visa at their embassy in Pretoria.
Firstly, under which sub category will it be under Visitors?
Secondly, please how can I get the yellow fever card?
Thirdly, how long is the processing time and does the SA embassy have like a fee for a fast track process like the UK?
Fourthly, like how much should be in the Statement of Account?

Thanks

Hello everyone.

I'd love to ask some questions.

Firstly, aside from traveling to a country with an Estonian embassy, is it easy getting the Estonia visa and residence permit?

Secondly, can one be self-sponsored for an Undergraduate degree?

Thanks

Hello everyone. I'm Michael.

I have interest in studying in Estonia but I'd love if I can be guided me through. I've made my own personal researches but I believe that I will learn something much more from everyone here.

I'm interested in Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences and I'll putting in for Bsc. Software development and Entrepreneurship. I learnt that the university is application-free. Is there anyone here who has applied to the school and got admitted who can put me through/explain their admission process?

Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks

OP. I'd advise you to go for Canada or Germany.

As for Canada, if you have a Masters Degree and work experience, then you can opt in for Express Entry.

But if you don't, then Germany is your best bet provided you have the required funds needed.

If you have a job offer from a German employer, then opt for the EU Blue Card (Long Term Work Visa).

If you don't, they also have a Jobseeker visa whereby you get to Germany to look for jobs, after getting one you'll apply for the EU Blue Card.

Hello Justwise, Good morning.
I'm currently filling my application form. I made a hotel reservation but learnt that it is a dorm room for 121 pounds and my budget for this trip is 1500 pounds. Removing flight and accomodation leaves with around 850 pounds. I intend spending 7 days, wont this dorm room affect my application or what can I do?

Thanks for the responses @justwise
I have listed out the documents I will submitting with my application. Can you help review and see if there's any additional document I might need.

They are:-
1. Hotel Reservation for 9 days (I have seen a private room in an apartment, can I use this or should I go for hotel)
2. Employment Letter
3. Reference letter from my employer stating that he is aware of this and is recommending me for the visa.
4. Leave/Vacation letter from my employer
5. Bank Statements of 6 months (Total credit of around 3m and closing balance of 1.4m, I spent around 800k-1m for my dad's house refurnish. Hope it won't affect?)
6. Employer's address and telephone in a letter format
7. Cover letter
8. Invitation letter for the event
9. Birth certificate.

I have calculated my budget trip and it amounts to around 1500 pounds (accommodation, feeding, return flight ticket and personal expenses.) My salary being converted to pounds is around 1100 pounds per month.

Am I good to go with this? or any other doc I can add?

Kindly help review it Thanks

What you get is a net salary so you don't need to worry about tax paper as somebody who earns salary.

Only business people has to worry about that for visa application

Big thanks. I'll gather the documents and submit the application next week.

Any tips for improving my chances sir?

Yes flight ticket is one of the major part of the budget, your salary level is very good so you shouldn't have problem regarding that if properly presented.

Thanks for the response. How do I tackle the tax issue? The United States Government is responsible for the tax on my salary as it is part of their policy. I don't have any document to back this up. Can I tender my W9 Form in this case?

Not too late if you submit this week or early next week

Big thanks for the response. I have listed documents I will be using and they are:-
Hotel reservation
Employment letter/Reference letter/Leave Letter
My bank statement
Cover letter (stating purpose of visit, proof of funds and total budget for the trip)
Employer's address and telephone

Is there any other doc I can submit? I plan to spend around 7 days, will flight ticket fee be part of the trip budget?

I am sponsoring myself, currently have a base salary of over 500k per month. I been working for around 5 months now. (I have past work experiences)
