17th VI TLS what’s going on. Decision made since Monday still at DMC.

For Schengen Airport Transit Visa
 
1.       Visit the French embassy website https://france-visas.gouv.fr/
2.       Fill the visa application form online
3.       Book an appointment at VFS if applying from Lagos, if from Abuja no need to book an appointment, just walk-in.
4.       Go to the VFS center to submit your completed application and the supporting documents.   

That's it! You will get your ATV visa in about 3-5 working days.

At all oh. When I got there the lady told me they have to send me a mail to bring my passport that I should just hold on I’ll get the mail soon because she took the print out I had and went to check their system.

No, i am unsure but speaking to someone at tls abuja and they said one week. ps the person is not a staff, just one of the people that stand outside tls, helping people get biometrics date but i think you can return your passport without getting a mail to return it. i dropped mine off yesterday. but i don't think they have gotten to my application. did biometrics on the 5th of jan.

Oh you submitted yours without a mail and they collected it? Thank you let me try my luck and submit mine.

to the best of my knowledge they have not yet sent 17th to VAC as at this morning, maybe that would be done later today, so i think you can expect them to send you an email to submit your passport soon

Any idea how long does it take from submission of passport and placing the vignette to return of the passport to applicant?

Good day Every one. During my biometrics, I opted and paid for the keep my passport service at TLS. I have received a decision mail and will be submitting my passport to receive the visa. Any idea on how long it will take to get my passport back?

I applied also using the keep my passport service. Decision has been made since 23rd December but no collection mail. TLS Ikeja. 9th December Biometrics

So the only thing you could pick out of my response is the school has no grounds on rejecting him CAS. If you had what he said carefully and if you read my response well, you would have seen that I told him to apply to other schools and I gave him an alternative school to apply to also his major concern was if his previous refusal was going to affect him applying to other schools since that was the reason he was refused CAS.

Hmm... because na you get the school. Every school, department and course have their own admission requirement.

Aunty Aproko. I never said I owned the school I only stated my own opinion and provided an alternative for the person that asked a question. You should have refuted my claim and provided a solution for the person that asked a question If you have any issues with my response argue with your keyboard abeg.

I’m not sure about January but since you have your POF and Tb test you can try but for May intake, it depends if on the course you are going for m.

If you sent IRCC an urgent mail and got your PPR, consider yourself lucky.

I have come to believe that decision was already reached on those applications. If your application is not being reviewed or still under review, there's no amount of email you will send to IRCC that will make them facilitate your application.

In November 2021, I sent IRCC more than 40 emails and webforms. They acknowledged one of the webforms and told me my application was still under review. I repeated the same action in December and got a similar response.

This month alone, I have sent more than 100 emails to IRCC, still nothing.

You are right. Same here I can’t count the number of emails. At least I send like 10 in a day and webform also.

The only option you have is the ATM card. Most banks now issue instant card. Can you go to a closer state? And what bank?

Hello guys...please I was recently denied CAS from my school and am so devastated, I was asked during my application if I have been denied visa before which I acknowledged which was from united states of America
Please what am I chances of getting CAS from another school with this setback?

Honestly your school has not grounds for rejecting you CAS we have people here that has been denied 8 times from other countries and yet they were still given admission and visa. Please apply to Oxford Brookes university. My admission took like 4/5 days and I got my CAS the same day I sent my POF they are not really interested in if you were previously denied a visa

I need your help people! I am filling my PRE-CAS questionnaire, but I've been stuck on how to answer a part of it without complicating things.
The question asked about who my sponsor is, their annual income and if I opened a new bank account just for the purpose of the visa.

Truthfully, I opened a new account last month for the purpose of the POF.

As it is now, it's either I get a bank reference letter or get an ATM card from the bank to further prove to the school that the account is active. (these are required to get the CAS).

I was at the bank earlier and I was told their machine has a problem and it will not be able to print my name on the card. This is bad news because I need my name as a form of identity. I am now stuck with getting a reference letter which will show that the account was opened last month(I funded it with the POF two days later)

How do I go about defending my need of opening a new bank account specifically for the purpose of the visa?

Good day. If I may ask what bank? Also you can visit other branches to get an ATM card. Because all references states the date the account was opened

I just got my cas and I would like to know what I would do next.
1, all the documents I need as an undergraduate?
2, how much I will be paying? For visa the whole process in vi.

Good day I’m not sure about undergraduate because I applied for a postgraduate degree. But mostly Documents you submitted to your school to get your admission and CAS.
2. The visa fee is about 470 for a standard application, the IHS fee depends on the number of years for your course. I paid 978 for a year and you have to pay extra 50pounds to use the VI center.

If you re-apply with this same profile,you may get your Visa...

Final decision also depends on the Visa officer that attends to your application.. Some Visa officers can be so strict with their decision, while some can be lenient, so far you have done the necessary things that needed to be done..

I personally know of an applicant who I worked with, that got refused despite paying full school fees and living expenses being transferred to his account, he was planning on Judicial review, but I advised JR is expensive that he should re-apply with the same docs he submitted, the only difference was that I worked on his SOP and LOE, but he submitted same documents he submitted in his refused application, no addition, no subtraction and viola he got his Visa.. And this is cos another Visa officer worked on his re-application and saw reasons for his approval which the previosus VO didnt see..

That's why you see some almost perfect applications getting refused and some not too perfect applications getting approvals..

That's why I always tell applicants that they should pray that their applications gets to the right Visa officer..

So if you know you met all their requirement, and you did justice to your POF, then you can take my advise or you go for JR..

Good afternoon everyone. I got a mail from TLS about 72hrs appointment reminder on the 4th of January. P.S I got a date for 7th of January but I did a walk in on the 17th of December. Could it be an error and they meant 7th instead or they are asking me to return my passport as I opted for the keep my passport option.

It depends on the bank you want to process it. It shouldn't take more than 2 to 3 days.
