Politics › Re: BREAKING: Femi Fani-kayode Hits Back At UK Parliament Member. by BoldBrainz(m): 7:01pm On Aug 15, 2023
On this, I'm in agreement with Femi Fani-Kayode.

We alone reserve the sole right to label Ebola Tinubu unprintable names. There's no moral rectitude any American or English can summon to throw vile words at any Nigerian politician. The US herself is the mother of all societal inadequacies. There are practically no words that will do justice in describing the chaos and destruction the US has wrought globally. And it is common knowledge that the American drug trade is now wholely controlled by the CIA, so they should shove their sanctimonious perceptions up their white holes where the sun don't shine.

Ebola the book-keeper is a thieving and vicious drug baron, but they shouldn't join us in singing the poems. After all, they've all been quiet while these politicians have bastardised the political and leadership atmosphere of Nigeria.

I gree.😂.

I'll rather die smiling on top of what I like, than in a motor accident or by the hands of brutal bandits.

If my death sentence is between the thighs of a wahala woman, I'll embrace it warmly.

Buhari was progressing backwards while Kenya and Rwanda were recording evident economic growth.😂.

That man has to be the most useless politician to ever walk the earth. Even Paul Biya of Cameroon who's currently urinating on himself has a better understanding of economics than that daura disaster!

Keep building your castles in the air.
You should have had a seat at the Presidential Elections Petition Tribunal panel. Perhaps your sharp mouth would have helped enough to convince the other judges to jail Obi and Atiku for daring to challenge the electoral outcome.

Againstallodds:
The way forward is to subsidize by 50% and Chanell the money to revive the refineries and when it start working well they can now remove it totally
They should stop "channelling" any money to the refineries. Those things should be sold. The amount of money these crooked politicians have embezzled in the name of Turnaround maintenance since 2007, is enough to have built a brand new refinery from scratch.

9jatriot:
My brother, that refinery tire me I swear, so when I say even if it means dashing them and their workers out, I mean it both literally and as is.

The amount of money paid in salary and eventual gratuity of those workers and all the money spent of turn around maintenance year in year out, can be considered as the amount that the buyer paid.

Just imagine what has been spent on them since 2007 when OBJ attempted to sell it then.

I believe NNPC has been unbundled, at least in theory, right?
😂.
You're a funny one.
Whatever Buhari did with the NNPC wasn't unbundling. They just cleaned up the body's surface and dressed her in a tutu, then unveiled her to the public with a nickname "NNPCL".

40 years I guess.
Tinubu got no idea on what to do. He is as worst as his predecessor.
😂.
Concerning Tinubu, we're in agreement. Man probably didn't understand the enormity of work at Aso rock while he was scrambling for the office, so he's already seeming overwhelmed.

And no, it doesn't take 40years to repair a refinery. But for anyone to suggest Nigerians should hang on while the refineries are worked, that person is oblivious of the requirements for such a task. The economic situation needs urgent succor. If the masses have to wait for those repairs, the number of families that will die from starvation will make the figures from the civil war seem like a dress rehearsal.

Well, the truth is that what Atiku said was that he would sell NNPC.

Yes, I agree with the 20% stakes you mentioned. Inshort, if there is no one to buy the refinery, they should dash it and their workers out. It is a big drain on the nation for an unproductive venture like that.
😂.
Nobody is dashing anything please. And Atiku said he intended to sell the refineries and "unbundle" the NNPC, which to me was a fine idea, anyhow you slice it.

government will start taking them seriously when their elected leaders start talking
Nigeria is not about the leaders or geographical regions, but about the people. A sincere government that wants to do things right, listens to the people, not to other politicians. If the Nigerian government hinges the referendum option on the voices of Igbo leaders, things will only get worse.

The leaders are beneficiaries of the skewered system, so they won't push for referendum. And as long as the masses are disgruntled, those vices you enumerated, will continue unabated.

have u ever seen referendum granted by shouting like barbarians on d streets or instigating hate speech online or killing security operatives
I guess you're right. But long before all of those nefarious activities, they had been very vocal about wanting out. If the government had paid heed and given consideration towards a referendum, none of that would have happened.

what if other schools adopt similar methods, what happens to the students if schools shut down or are the workers in other institutions buying fuel at a cheaper price?
If the entire system crumbles, it would be a welcome development. Least we'll all learn enough lessons to stop voting according to tribes, religion and political sentiments.

By God, I want Nigeria to deteriorate so badly that families will starve and people will lose energy even for prayers. Let the impoverishment lead to loss of lives and property. Let the system collapse. That way, we'll all be ready to reset the country.

Sounds fine by me. The school can be shut down then. Students can also seek admissions elsewhere. Tertiary institutions abound.

No quarter should be given to anyone in the South West. They should work according to labour guidelines. Whoever can no longer keep up, should resign and go home.

They should just sell them abeg.
When Atiku Abubakar outrightly said he was going to sell the Nation's refineries during the campaigns, the hyenas almost tore him to shreds. Those things should be disposed of, and at best, the government can have 20% stakes in each. Let private individuals and companies handle the repairs and operations.
