What type of an upbringing do you think Naira himself had? How many of you live in a place where you are scared of getting stabbed?
I am sick of the humongous amount of dumb people in just one country. Dey won't do shitt about the high cost of living, filling out in their millions over a case that's police work. When I said something similar a short while ago, I was labeled as lacking empathy. We have simply lost the intellectual ability to be objective and circumspect in our reasonings. Almost everybody just panders to emotions and media sensationalism. Then some spice it with a worrisome blend of idiocy. |

Not everyone knows what ever it is you call your car parts. And frankly, to expect me to know it reeks of assumptions.
And yes, it sounds idiotic to see cars that have legs. At least there was someone who explained it without assuming I would know anything about your cars on stilts.
Cars with legs. Lol Smh. Clearly, even exposure doesn't often equate to proper mannerism. |

BRATISLAVA: So it's a Nigerian thing that cars have legs? Educate us.
I've never heard of it before. And I'm shocked to see that cars in Nigeria have legs. Cars with legs. LMAO. Your attempt at mockery is well recognised. If you had put the same energy into reading my first response to you, you certainly would have seen where I emphatically quoted "Legs" and the words that followed it. Cars do not have legs. The entire suspension system and tyres are however, simply described as "Legs" in local Nigerian parlance. You may actually have heard of or known this before. But just because you're trying to portray others as being idiots for the entertainment of the reading public, you have opted for mockery and sarcasm. |

What's ur point?
Talking about deviation, have you ever been on any point?
Pls don't mention I've been on just one point through the entirety of our engagement, and that's the "fact" that Pidgin is an English-based creole. There's a humongous distinction between being a Linguist and a polyglot. I should know because I am both. I speak Spanish, a bit of French, a bit of Hausa, my ethnic dialect which is "Lokaa" and the lingua we're conversing with. That makes me a polyglot. I equally have two degrees, a Bsc in Information Science and a Diploma in Linguistics from Taniform Institute in Bamenda. Currently undergoing studies for a third degree. So, I speak from a place of confident intellectual authority as regards this subject. Again, how many languages do you speak? |

Davoneskay: Pidgin is not totally same as creole. Creole has rules guiding it. Creole has syntax according to a documentary I got. But Pidgin has no rules. Jamaican patois used to be Pidgin for a very long time before it became standardize and developed to a full language (creole). Illicit, kindly note that most English speakers who aren't Nigerian do not understand Nigerian Pidgin English. You may think it is simple but it is very complex to them. For example, "Dey there make pant dey wear you" is a Pidgin English but no non-Nigerian English speakers would understand. Boldbrainz, Upsupa, and the rest, Pidgin English is totally not same with creole. Creole is advanced and standardized. It has its lexis and structure. Nigerian pidgin is an English-based creole, and this shouldn't even be a basis for lengthy arguments. I'm currently editing a very bulky document and won't have the time to write detailed epistles on this. Please kindly do a simple internet search on this subject. |

OP, Take a towing van to that workshop, but before moving the car, take very detailed pictures of it from the interior to the exterior and bonnet. I know you'll incur extra expenses, but it's a necessary inconvenience. Have another technician attend to it in another workshop. After about a week, pick up the mechanic with Officers of the Mobile Police force and file complaints of missing car parts at their station. Have him detained and insist he must pay for the missing parts before release. All of us know say Police go touch am "small" for that detention. |

Of course you have this complaint if your technician tells you that your car has legs in need of fixing. Legs. I want to believe this is you being sarcastic. Cause basically everyone who knows about cars in Nigeria knows what's meant when "Legs" are used to label certain parts of the car. |

There is a term "Calabar boy" that was used in the 70s if you are old enough you would know exactly what it means .
Please stop ranting I am not ranting, neither am I frustrated. You listed Delta, Edo, Rivers, then went ahead to add Calabar. Whether you attached the "State" tag to them or not is inconsequential. Any sensible reader would have figured that out already. That's the same misconception most of you Nigerians sell out there. Soon as anyone says he's from Akwa Ibom or Cross River, you swiftly label him/her as a Calabar person. |

Gajagojo: Pidgin in Nigeria varies depending e.g Delta State and Edo are quite different from Rivers or even Calabar
Do not forget that a part of Cameroon= Northern Cameroon used to be part of Nigeria until 1963. They can sound Nigerian with a little efforts though use some funny words
pidgin has no real root or origin in the SW or Northern Nigeria I find it really awkward when even Nigerians consistently equate "Calabar" to be a state. You cannot list States and be mentioning Calabar as one of them, for whatever intents. Calabar is the capital of Cross River State. The state has a litany of other ethnicities. Even the Calabar itself is not dominated by the Efiks. Most of the people claiming indigenous roots in Calabar are originally from Odukpani, Akamkpa and Akpabuyo. |
