Good day, I have a few dollars in my amazon affiliate account, I've been thinking about how best to withdraw until I came across this thread with you saying flutterwave is good.
Now the problem is; just like you encountered, I'm having issues opening an account despite using two different email addresses(yahoo and gmail) but the problem is the same.
What can I do?

A. How amazon affiliate marketing works.

Just like every other affiliate marketing scheme, amazon affiliate works by paying affiliate for every referrals then send to amazon site. Note that referrals but buy an item from amazon before you earn any commission as an affiliate.

The beauty of amazon affiliate over other method is that; you earn commission for any product purchased by your referrals within 24hours of landing on amazon through your link.

Let me explain that:

Let's say you have a website about chin chin, and a visitor landed on your site, searching for best chin chin in the market. After reading your review articles, he/she clicked on your amazon link and landed on chin-chin product on amazon. Let's assume she bought the chin chin, but while buying the recommended product (chin chin), she saw a nice blue dress and decided to buy that one as well.

You would earn commission for both the dress and the chin chin. That's what gives amazon affiliate an edge over other affiliates like click banks. As an amazon affiliate you stand a chance of earning, even if your traffic isn't as targeted as it's supposed to be. Reverse is the case when it comes to other affiliate marketplace.

For every purchase made on amazon buy your referral, you earn certain commission. This commission varies depending on the category of product you're promoting. Take for instance, electronics category will give you only 4% commission.

To put that into figure perspective; let's imagine you're promoting a $200 Television on amazon, when people buy the TV, you earn $8 per sales.

If you are in the clothing category with about 7.5% commission rate, you would earn about $16 for a $200 product. This category is another fact to consider when choosing your niche.

Amazon also has a product volume commission. What this means is that, the higher the number of product you sell monthly, the higher your commission rate. It increased from 4% to about 8% every month, and automatically resets at the beginning of the month.

B. WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Laptop Computer
2. Good internet Connection
3. Decent writing skills or money to hire a good writer.
4. Persistence
6. Patience
7. A little bit of luck (Pun intended).

C. THE MINDSET

It's very important that I talk briefly on this part so you would know what you;re getting yourself into.

You will not make QUICK money from amazon. Check my stats above, i wasn't making serious money until after six month of commencement.

But since majority of the work invoved has been done during the first three months, the following months was to allow the site to grow,a dn the income was more or less passive.

Don't say I didn't warn you. Six (6) month is a long time to wait if you're not the patient type. You would feel like giving up along the way. You might even get frustrated, but persistence is the key.

If you're persistent enough, six (6) months will pass by and you would have a passive source of income before you know it. I picked six (6) month out of my head, it's not a rule of thumb.

C. GETTING READY

Now that you know what the whole business is all about, what's the next line of action?

You can check the list of things needed above to see what you don't have amidst them. The first thing is to get it asap. Because you can't do without any of them.

Once that is done. Complete the assignment below, and we would discuss further on it in the next module (Next Week).

ASSIGNMENT:

Make a comprehensive list of things you can easily write about, mostly things you have vast knowledge of. Take your time to write them out for the entire week. Add more item to the list as the week progresses.

It's important that you do this because it will make our work easy in the next module.

In signing up, they require only email and password, nothing to indicate if you are nigerian or not, but thanks anyway.

I created an Amazon affiliate blog in April through the help of a nairalander.. The traffic is just too low and no sales yet. Amazon have sent me an email to make a sale before 180 days. Though i made use of an SEO site called seoclerk dot com for backlinking but I'm yet to see any improvement.

Thank you for your insights. It's one research I'd be glad to sponsor. I don't think data would be hard to amass (of candidates above 300 and their eventual grades after graduation). Preferably, period 2010 - 2020 should be used due to the penetration of the Internet, usage, LinkedIn, availability of news articles about graduating students etc.

For instance, Ayodele Dada had 5.0 CGPA during his time at Unilag, what was his UTME score? What about the second BGS, what was his/her UTME score? Who had the highest UTME score that year and what was the person's eventual grade upon graduation? Ayodele dada wrote UTME but his result was cancelled but he said he could have sworn he would have scored 300+. He entered Unilag through the foundation programme(diploma).

I'm not deep into affiliate anymore, so I won't give an answer I'm not sure of. What I'm sure of is: those who have their books (evergreen books) in Kindle eBook and audiobook versions will never go hungry. Those who only have paperback will lose sales.

Allow book publishing? Yes, especially Kindle and audiobook since they are digital products and not physical products like low content books or printed books.

Anyway, after a few years of suffering, everything will bounce back and better, so there is no need to worry. Suffering isn't permanent.

Also, it's not only Amazon that exists. There are other places like D2D. Though, AMZ is still the best.

In fact, D2D, Draft2Digital, even paid me yesterday some handsome Dollars without me doing anything all because of my eBook in their platform. Money is always being made in different places online and all are legit.

With so much abuse of people accusing me of showing off and this show off makes them depressed, I'm always on low key in flaunting money most times. I no wan make people feel too depressed after reading my post. Lol.

I post those pictures as a form of motivation because without those pictures, they'll say, "If no pictures, I don't believe it."

So, focus more on evergreen books for now and venture into affiliate later. "How do you go about it?" You asked. All info you need are free on YouTube and Google, so search for them.

Success is not hard — being focused/disciplined is.

The thing is; I've already started with affiliate,which is the reason for my questions. Infact, I have an amazon niche site which is still in sandbox. It should start gaining traction by Oct/Nov.

I plan to venture into book publishing in 3 months time. I heard about affiliate before book publishing, that's why.

Intellectual properties won't be affected. If you're just a seller of products on Amazon, you'll be affected, but if you're a seller or intellectual properties and downloadable items, you have no problem — you'll keep making money for life.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying an affiliate marketer of amazon can be affected, but a book publisher can't/won't be affected.
Also, is it possible that Amazon will continue their affilate programs and allow book publishing inspite of the pandemic?

For example, amazon have slashed their commission rate for their affiliate programs from 7% to 3%.

My point is, won't publishing business be affected?

Do you think Amazon can shutdown all their programs. i.e affiliate programs, KDP etc.

I'm asking because my concern is for those who would want to venture in one or more of those programs in the near future.

You can find them on the web, there are lots of them but I advice that you start with "why you act the way you do" by Tim Lahaye.[size=8pt][/size]

Don't look for Psychology books that are too academic in nature, reading
ones that have practical examples are best.

You are very correct. In the book " think and grow rich" written by Napolen Hill, there is actually a chapter devoted to sex. He tried to explain that trying to curb sexual urge is like trying to contain a river, you can do it for a while, but if not allowed to flow it natural cause will find it way out and may cause damage( flood).
So also is sex, you can contain it for a while but if not released, it will find it way out forcefully(this explain the case of rape sometimes) especially for those with high libido.
