SportsMourinho In Line To Be Sacked !!! by boman2014(op): 11:43pm On Aug 17, 2015
CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho has seen his
odds of becoming the next Premier League
manager to be sacked slashed following his team’s
3-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday. Odds
released by Betfair Sportsbook on Monday show
the Portuguese tactician is now 7/1 second
favourite – previously 25/1 – to leave his post
behind Sunderland coach Dick Advocaat.

Mourinho had to also deal with heavy criticism in
the build-up to the clash on Sunday for demoting
first-team doctor Eva Carneiro after she had
attended to Eden Hazard in the dying minutes of
the draw against Garry Monk’s side last Saturday.

Despite the Portuguese manager only signing a
new four-year dealearlier this month, odds from
Betfair suggest Mourinho could be on his way out
of Stamford Bridge if Chelsea do not get their title
defence back on track in the coming weeks.
Football Trader for Betfair, Michael Bowers, said:
“Jose is struggling to get off on the right foot this
season, after a poor game against Swansea and an
even poorer game against the new title favourites
Manchester City, he has gone from 25/1 to 7/1
second favourite as the next manager to leave the
market after heavy backing.
“The club will remain loyal to Mourinho for the time
being, but if the blues don’t start picking up some
points after four or five games, even The Special
One could face the chop.”

PoliticsAPC Accuses Jonathan, Appointees Of Looting At Least N11.11trillion by boman2014(op): 3:07pm On Aug 16, 2015

APC accuses Jonathan, appointees
of looting at least N11.11trillion,
says they must face the law

The ruling All Progressives Congress has accused
the past administration led by Goodluck
Jonathan of looting at least N11.11 trillion (or
$55.68 billion at N199.5 to a dollar) of public
funds while in office.
In a statement Sunday, the National Publicity
Secretary of the party, Lai Mohammed, said, the
rate at which public funds were stolen during
the last regime was too “massive”, “spine-
chilling” and “mind-boggling” to ignore.
The party listed the funds unaccounted for by
the regime to include:
– 3.8 trillion Naira out of the 8.1 trillion Naira
earned from crude oil (2012-2015) withheld by
NNPC
– 2.1 billion US dollars from Excess Crude
Account unaccounted for
– Department of Petroleum Resources’
unremitted 109.7 billion Naira royalty from oil
firms
– 6 billion US dollars allegedly looted by some
Ministers of the last Administration
– 160 billion barrels of crude worth 13.9 billion
US dollars lost between 2009 and 2012
– 15 million US dollars from botched arms deal
yet to be returned to Nigeria
- 13 billion US dollars in NLNG dividends mostly
unaccounted for
- 30 billion Naira rice waiver
- 183 billion naira unaccounted for at the Niger
Delta Development Commission.

The party said the listed ‘missing’ funds
constituted just a tip of the iceberg since they
are mostly from a few sectors of the economy,
mostly the oil sector, and were discovered even
before the forensic audit now being undertaken
in some key areas.

”The level of looting that went on in other
sectors is better imagined, hence the need for all Nigerians to
rally around the Buhari Administration to recover the loots,
bring the looters to justice and to put in place measures to
prevent such looting in the future,” Mr. Mohammed said.
”The level of looting that went on in other sectors is better
imagined, hence the need for all Nigerians to rally around the
Buhari Administration to recover the loots, bring the looters to
justice and to put in place measures to prevent such looting in
the future,” he added.
He said any worthy leader would not close his eyes to such huge
plundering of public resources before
“… Nothing but the total recovery of the funds will be acceptable
to all patriotic Nigerians,” he said.
Mr. Mohammed said anyone who attempts, either by deeds or
words, to sabotage the recovery efforts is not a patriot and
deserves nothing but public opprobrium.
The statement thanked “Nigerians for their overwhelming
support for the Buhari Administration in its tough but
important task of tracing and recovering the loots, while also
ensuring that the looters face justice”.

It added, ”It is absolutely gratifying that Nigerians are
vehemently opposed to the few who would rather have the
government of the day turn a blind eye to the looted funds and,
in their words, carry on with the process of governance.

”Truly, what sort of governance can go on if the billions of
Naira in a few hands are not recovered? In the first instance,
the government needs every kobo of the funds it can muster to
bring about the change it has promised Nigerians. Secondly,
leaving such hair-raising funds in the hands of the few looters
is dangerous, because they can use the funds to destabilize any
government. In fact, no one will be surprised if the looters use
their dirty funds to sponsor public demonstrations against the
government’s determination to recover the funds.

”Thirdly, allowing those who privatized the commonwealth to
get away is offering a thumbs-up for looting. No responsible
government will do that,” the APC said.
The party said already the looters have embarked on a relentless
and an increasingly-bold campaign to discredit the government
of the day and sabotage the funds’ recovery process, using
newspaper columnists, ‘talking heads’ and otherwise respectable
opinion leaders.

”They and their paid hirelings have tried to employ sophistry to
muddle the waters, but Nigerians are much wiser, and will not
succumb to the dirty antics of the looters’ megaphones,” it said.
The APC said it is necessary to remind Nigerians of the kind of
massive looting of the treasury that took place in the past few
years, so they can better appreciate the seriousness of the issue
at stake.

FURIOUS: Roman Abramovich's wife Dasha Zhukova

SportsThe End For Jose? Chelsea Owner's Wife 'outraged' With Mourinho Over Doc Row by boman2014(op): 2:45pm On Aug 16, 2015
THE wife of billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to be
furious over boss Jose Mourinho's treatment of club doctor Eva
Caneiro, it has emerged.

Dasha Zhukova has reportedly been angered after Mourinho raged at
the medic for rushing to treat injured star Eden Hazard on the pitch
during stoppage-time against Swansea City last weekend.
Dr Caneiro, 41, has been banned from the bench for this afternoon's
Premier League clash against title rivals Manchester City.
And the public spat is said to have provoked Abramovich and his
wife.
But despite the Russian oligarch's fury, he is unlikely to ditch the
'Special One' over the row.
A club source told the Mail on Sunday: "Abramovich is outraged by
what's happened and his young wife is even more angry.

"But there's no way we dare do anything that might be seen as
criticising Jose because he would go and we've just given him a new
four-year contract.
"The owner hasn't been around but wherever he is – probably on his
yacht in the Med – he will have watched the game and he will know
about what's happened since."
Mourinho's treatment of Dr Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn, who also
ran on to the pitch, has been unpopular with former players and
pundits.
Former Chelsea defender Craig Burley accused him of being
"classless" over his treatment of the pair.
Mourinho branded his medical staff "impulsive and naive" after the
2-2 draw, saying they did not "understand the game".
The Portuguese coach was angered because Hazard's treatment left
Chelsea down to eight men for the final minute of the match.
The odds on Mourinho to lose his job at Chelsea this season have
been slashed dramatically following the row.

PoliticsBayelsa PDP Chairman, Tiimi Alaibe, 1,100 Other PDP Members Defect To APC by boman2014(op): 6:09pm On Aug 15, 2015
A wave of defection has swept through the Peoples Democratic Party
in Bayelsa as its current Chairman, Sam Inokoba, a former Managing
Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Timi Alaibe, and
over 1,100 party leaders left the party for the All Progressives
Congress.

Addressing a political rally at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Mr.
Inokoba, who listed 10 reasons for leaving the PDP, they were
crossing over to the APC because the PDP government has derailed
from its original objectives.
He said they were disenchanted with the leadership style of Governor
Seriake Dickson and lack of internal democracy in the PDP.
He said Mr. Dickson had abandoned the tenets of good governance
and set the state on a path of retrogression and dictatorship even in
a democratic dispensation.

Mr. Inokoba said the PDP was bedeviled by endless intra-party
squabbles and manipulation by the PDP governor.
He said he was moving into APC with his followers from 105 wards in
the state and urged Bayelsa people to shun sentiments to embrace
change.

In his remarks, Timi Alaibe, noted that he was not changing for the
sake of change but to steer the state from poverty to prosperity.
He said a state as endowed as Bayelsa had no business with poverty.
Mr. Alaibe regretted that the state had not benefitted from its natural
endowments and pledged to work to install an APC government in the
state.

In his speech, a former governor of the state, Timipre Sylva, said the
party was poised to work with all political stakeholders in unity to
foster peace and enthrone a people-centered government.
He decried the high level of insecurity and piracy in the state which
he said had crippled economic activities in the coastal communities.
He said the APC would sweep the polls in the December election to
usher in development in the state, adding that he would join hands
with the APC-led federal government to drive the state to greater
heights.

Receiving the new members, the APC National Chairman, John
Odigie-Oyegun, handed over brooms to the defectors.
He said the APC would ensure the collective development of the
country for the good of all.
Mr. Oyegun paid tributes to Mr. Sylva for galvanizing support for the
APC in Bayelsa state, by bringing quality political leadership into the
party.

He said the South South remains the economic base of the nation
and cannot afford to be in opposition.
The APC chairman assured the people of the state that the East-West
road would be completed by the APC-led federal government.

Line three: 1 + banana bunch = 7; banana bunch is equivalent to 6
because 6 + 1 = 7 (note: there are three bananas in the bunch so 1
banana by itself would equal 2 since 6 divided by 3 equals 2)
Line four: 7 + 12 + 2 = 21

so your answer is 21
