NPA... compiling list
PTI... Is issuing letter
NCDMB... arrangements have been concluded for interview, at least 6 people will be recruited from each state with Oil producing state getting 10 each.

INEC....they are also finalising arrangement with JAMB for conducting CBT exams for the main recruitment

NSIA.....will soon release advert for main recruitment, for those that study finance and have their degree abroad, they usually give consideration and sometimes conduct interviews for them, you can submit your CV at their Office in Abuja if you study Finance, Accounting, Economics.. etc

NIMASA...another batch of recruitment is due this quarter of the year..

NASRDA.... Will also be be recruiting openly this year as the agency is short of technical staff to carry out it operations.

NFVCB.....will also be recruiting this year..

PTDF....plans are underway to recruit this year

NERC....will be recruiting too.

A lot of education institution won't be recruiting, except FG lift embargo on them.. some that recruited are finding it difficult to capture their new staff aside the newly established ones who were given consideration.

EFCC... will commence a fresh recruitment this year after their promotion exams in February

Please, when we get power, do extremely better. We see what is going on in the US and Uk in terms of progress. Please, adopt it here with speed. It will never make sense that a recruitment into a federal parastatal will take more than 4 months from start to finish. It's pure foolishness. Some youths were saying we should respect our elders the other day. See the seat they sit on doesn't belong to a mediocre. If you mess up in that seat you should be dealt with accordingly. All Nigerian presidents have brought us backward and don't deserve any accolades especially the current dense in power. Don't let religion or tribe cloud your judgment we need well educated people with the aim of moving this country forward if we are to save it or else even ncdmb wont be a reality for too long. if things don't change. Sincerely, things have to change. None of the older generations will never change Nigeria because they simply don't care and don't know how to. That's why you shouldn't respect rubbish.

But on a more serious note, greed isn't the only reason why people change jobs... There are other reasons, for instance,

1. JOB SATISFACTION
No matter how much an engineer is earning in a bank, as long as it isn't what he always wanted to do, if he sees an engineering opportunity with almost the same offer, he would take it immediately.

2. JOB SECURITY
Some persons work with some particular organisations, not because of the pay, but because there is no fear of losing their jobs, just like that, and that's the reason why a friend of mine who is working with Exxonmobil currently also applied for this NCDMB as an experienced hire..

3. CAREER ADVANCEMENT
Lol... This one has been overflogged but i would still shed some more light on it ... Assuming you work in an organisation where due to your qualifications, age, date of employment or whatever reasons, you can't grow beyond a particular level, and you get an offer in another firm where you would be able to get to that level that you wished to get to, won't you take up that offer??

4. BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS
A relation recently left a job paying him approximately 280k/month for a job paying him 240k/month, and when asked why, he said its due to the working conditions of the former place. The former place required him to be at the office Monday to Friday, and then also work from home on Saturdays and Sundays, but the new place requires just the normal Monday to Friday, and that's what he opted for.

5. BETTER PAY
It's not necessarily due to greed, but due to an increase in responsibility. From economics we are made to understand that the more you earn, the more your needs/wants/responsibilities increases and so inorder to accommodate the ever increasing responsibilities, you would also need to have an ever increasing source of income. Or would you say it's greed that would make you to have a side hustle, or a BTC wallet, even though you already have a job, no matter how much the pay is??

My opinion though..

what about "EXTORTION/BRIBES/TIPS?" Most people change jobs because of that too.

The scores here been referred to are not the results of the tests, but would most likely be the cummulative of our uploaded documents...

For those who have done interviews before, you would know that scores are awarded for whatever document you present.

Even if he was making reference to the documents upload, it still can't be true. Guy, some persons have very intimidating credentials/relevant job experience and I believe a lot of such persons applied for this job too.

Consider this scenario,
let A, B and C be three EH applicants competing for the same position.
A, B and C had 2.1, first class and 2.1 respectively.
A, B and C are from the same state.
Only B has a masters degree but A and C are COREN Registered.
C is a member of both ASME and ASNT.
A has 12yrs experience with 7yrs of it relevant to the job.
B has 7 yrs experience with 4yrs relevant to the job.
C has 6yrs plus experience all relevant to the job.
Question;
1. If all three candidate have very strong connect, who do you think would be considered for the post?
2. If all three candidates have no connect, who is most likely to be considered?
3. If B is the only one with connect, who is likely to be considered?

It can NEVER be true because they did not state it categorically in the advert that "all" EH applicants "must" have masters degree. I bet the people spreading this news are EH applicants with masters who are just trying to raise their hope.

I doubt this will be the case....unless they did not review the documents of those in the second batch, no sensible recruiter we let go of a more qualified applicant just because another applicant scored about 10-15 points more in an unsupervised and "free to cheat test".
I believe at this point it is more about qualification than test score.

I agree with you. It should be more about qualification now. I don't believe they will pick an EH with 2yrs relevant experience ahead of those with 3yrs, 4yrs, 5yrs and so on, when they all meet the educational requirement. They also would not want drop candidates with professional affiliations for those without. That will be their own loss.

If people got in and it might not be from that recruitment as u said,why reference it as the basis for ur conclusion? Before the recent recruitment of 2019, there was no SS6 and 5 staff because the guys that got in 2012 were already in SS4. The guys that got in according to you in 2015, which grades were they then placed? Anyways, not to digress from the focus of this tread but have it in mind that NO ONE got into NNPC in 2015.

Some persons got employed into NNPC in 2015. Though it might not be from that recruitment. Unless you want to tell me that you are an HR manager in NNPC. If you are then, I'll agree with you.

I was part of those that were successful in that 2014 NNPC recruitment. We waited for interview invite until the 2019 recruitment was advertised. I reapplied for experienced hire, but wasn't shortlisted.
Am very surprised, and also hearing it for the first time that some persons got APL in 2015, with respect to same recruitment. Well, God dey o.

I was also successful after the aptitude test which I wrote at one school in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state. I still have a copy of the aptitude test invitation letter from NNPC/Philip Consulting till date.
Some persons actually got APL in 2015.

The recruitment team are working indefatigably to ensure this recruitment process is completed and offer made by June.

We were supposed to have received interview invitation mail by now if not for setback experienced by the concerned teams (HR&IT). Physical interview was suggested initially but has been ruled out and that brought about the idea of online documentation.

Shortlisting has already been concluded and Virtual interview mails would drop once interviewers availability is secured. Interviews would run simultaneously for two weeks between April and May.

I wish everyone luck in the remaining part of this recruitment exercise. Thank you

I have never seen an FG Agency job that has been advertised, aptitude test written but NO interview conducted. It doesn't work that way to give out APL.
Interview must be done even if its for the sake of formality.
Everyone should prepare for Interview whether physical or virtual.

In December, 2014, NNPC aptitude test was written for Operators/graduate trainee and experienced hired. Successful candidates received invitation for interview which was later halted but some persons still got APL in 2015. How come?
In the DPR 2016 Junior staff recruitment which was concluded in January, 2018, there was no interview after the aptitude test. APL were issued.
In PTI 2018 recruitment which was concluded in November, 2018, there was no interview after the aptitude test. APL were issued.
That you have not seen or witnessed it doesn't mean that it has not occurred before. This is Nigeria where "everything" is possible.

A lot of people were eliminated after thorough checking,yet other state may still be considered for another upload to fill the lacuna to ensure equality in distribution. I thought as much. That six years experience and above for the EH cadre is just too high even though some persons may have over ten years experience.
Majority of my guys who applied for the EH cadre graduated in 2014 and so on before they now went for service. Father Lord, please "hear us from heaven" and see us through this recruitment process in Jesus name.

My sis actually got a federal job basically on merit .I also heard that plenty folks entered on merit in the last NNPC hire.

That is the spirit, my friend. That some persons will get it through connections does not mean that there be no hope for those without connection to get in.
A manager of one of these IOCs once told us how he was able to help a young man he never knew from Adam. While they were in the interview room the manager looked at the CV of the young man and saw that he had a 2.2 (Mechanical Engineering) and has left school for five years then. The Manager in his mind said, "the witches in your family can't stop you from getting this job today" and wrote against the guy's name as his candidate and that was all.
God still answers prayers. He still does miracles by speaking to those in certain positions to assist His children.

In 2013, a friend who is a cousin to the then Registrar of the Petroleum Training Institute was boastful of how he "will" get employed into the institute on their next recruitment which was rumored to be coming up then. The advert eventually came out in November, 2014 as forecasted and then he applied as instructed by his Cousin, the Registrar. To cut the long story short, the Registrar had only just one slot which he gave to his younger brother instead of the cousin.
The home here is for you to know that your contact at NCDMB know a lot of prominent people who may also have interest in this job too. Stop being boastful because that APL remains a fantasy until you have received it in your hands.

1-49? There was no need for the tests na.....they should have just called everyone that applied for the job to come for interview. What kind of back and forth process is this?
If the ogas allow some candidates that score say 1-49 to be invited, do you think they won’t make sure to see them thru the process at the expense of those who should get it on merit? I know I will get this job by God’s hand, but this country is having new lows every morning.

I'd advise you to stop being boastful because God has the final say. Besides, there are some persons out there and even on Nairaland who have direct link with the President, the Minister of state, the Executive Secretary/CEO, the Senate President, The Speaker of the house of Rep or even your state governor that will not be boastful at all.

That is not true. Did you see anything like tables in the GT test? Trust me, the EH test was hard and time consuming.
