She is exploiting the country for political gain.

So saying the truth is now childish and immature?
You're not making any sense. You think if she's a chronic liar, a person of dubious character, she will be leading the Conservative Party in the UK🇬🇧?
Breaking news: A lot of politicians are.

She's trying to make the world hear what our politicians are covering up.

The common Nigerian voice is not heard but luckily a common person like her has made it to the Global space, so she's speaking for the common Nigerian
How naive.

Anchor Baby Kemi, who seemingly has no filter, needs to put a zip on her mouth.

How well has the Police in the UK behaved towards Black people?
Why do we still complain about institutional racism, which is even more egregious than the example she mentioned?

She is not ready to address that, hence why she keeps bringing Nigeria up. You ask her something difficult or controversial, and she responds with, "Oh, in Nigeria..." That's her style.

Exploit what? What is it about Nigeria to exploit in UK elections? Is it the population of Nigerians in the UK or the reputation of Nigeria?
How significant is the population of Nigerians in the UK to influence the election there?

An average Nigerian in the UK or elsewhere is also not proud of Nigeria except some insane trolls who probably because of political patronage want the rest of us to say Nigeria is working even when it is obvious to the blind that the country is going down. Badenoch said Nigeria is broken. Is this not true? This should have been taken as a wakeup call by Nigerian leaders instead of trying to gaslight everybody about Badenoch's comment.
The problem is that you don't understand what it means to exploit something for political gain, especially in this context. Obviously, if she was exploiting Nigeria for political gain (which she currently is), she wouldn't depend on support from Nigerians. She is pandering to white demographics. Trying to appear less threatening and appealing to them. Something whites would love to hear and be comfortable with, including the supremacists.

You don't know what you're saying. Because India is not perfect, we should not talk about the problems confronting our country? We should not tell ourselves the truth? Badenoch should say everything is fine with Nigeria? I wonder if some of you really want anything good for this country. Just tell me one thing Nigeria is getting right... Something we can talk about in glowing terms.
You are slow. So why then do you think she brought Nigeria up for an election she was running in Britain? Do you understand what it means to exploit something for political gain, or are you busy being slow? Na wa.

India is not like Nigeria and the politicians/elites there are not like ours. People from all over, including Nigeria, go to India for medical care, etc. If they are not excelling in these areas, nobody would go there. Now, tell me one thing that anybody wants to come to Nigeria for except those who come here to explore and exploit our natural resources?

By the way, it is not about Nigerian community in the UK or elsewhere, it about the country and her leaders.
Is India perfect? Stop dancing around the issue. I don't know how some of you reason. There are a lot of negative things Sunak could have said about India for political gain, if he was that desperate.

did you even read that the land was giving to them by the Nigerian govt? What do you guys even mean by developing a place? You just wake-up, destroy peoples' building and call it devt.

So there are no forests in Abuja govt can develop, if they so seek to develop places?
And if the government gives you a land for a reason and tells you to comply with certain requirements and you fail to comply, what happens? Some of you dislike accountability.

You don't see where the evil Igbo woman refused to support her because of tribalism. Igbos and hate are inseparable.
The one you are calling evil probably saw through her tribalism, while she was still masquerading as a Nigerian.

She is right. She is Yoruba before being a Nigerian. Nigeria is just a geographical area with different tribes and ethnic groups lumped together.

I support Chimamanda's statement below too.

We should stop forcing Nigeria on people
If these two women were in Nigeria, they would likely not rise to the peak of their careers.

So where is Chimamanda from?
I'm Nigerian. We must learn to put the country before our respective tribes. That is why I admire Fani Kayode's response to Kemi, despite the fact that he is a Yoruba man. He went beyond those parochial confines. Only unpatriotic people look for lame excuses to hide behind tribe. You can identify with your tribe but do not put it above Nigeria.
