valarmorghulis:True! Even down to the Ojo Barracks axis. The federal government relocated many of the Awori families to Ijegun and Ibasa waterside. Although some plots of lands were allotted to the Baale in Ado Soba, that remains the only land they’ve got in that area. The rest belongs to the government. It will surprise you that from Abule Oshun to Volks the plan was mainly for the establishment of industrial estates. That push died in the early 1980’s when Buhari compelled these foreign industrialist to source bulk of their raw materials from the country those who failed to do that were made to leave. This was the beginning of the land grabbing journey of the Awori indigenes and their cronies. And the federal government then didn’t do much to cut them to size. The families became emboldened and ruthless in this act of selling government lands to the extent of carry arms to forcefully evict many legal land owners from their homes and reselling to other ignorant folks. All lands from Mile 2 to Ojo Barracks belongs to the federal government. Only those approved by the federal government are legit. Those with fake CofO from Ikeja Omo Onile connection shouldn’t sleep with their eyes close. |
IlovePMB:When will Buhari investigate Tinubu and Aregbesola, the two cultist of the SW? |
Fear evil men |
Omo Onile’s have raked in billions of nairas from illegal land grabs in Lagos. The said area is owned by the federal government and many of us who grew up in Festac axis knew all along. But many of my foolish brothers were hoodwinked by Awori land grabbers. To say that they were ignorant is a fat lie. I don’t pity fools. |
Lol! Well written. Cleanliness always comes with a huge price. Maybe the coming of this coronavirus may end the tide of dirtyness in this country.
|
GeorgeTheCoder:Too bad if so! We were beginning to think he had good intentions. Too bad the north will keep remaining stagnant. |
Aboki shut up! Have you taken your Codeine and Gum yet? Arrewa aka OkpalaAnambra
|
Anambralstson:Stop talking to the imposter OkpalaAnambra aka Arrewa |
SonOfEl:Idiot Aboki with three monikers. Mind yourself OkpalaAnambra aka Arrewa |
A welcome development |
Gabriel004:No one is inconsequential. The only time the north supported the SW was in 1993. Obasanjo was not a SW candidate, he was a northern tool for political dominance. Why didn’t north support Awolowo? Why didn’t north support Sowore and Durotoye in the last elections. |
Yenefer:All you care about is PDP coming back to power! How about the political future of Ndigbo. Will PDP coming back to power guarantee that? Are you just a pro PDP IPOB or pro PDP Igbo? Because the last time I checked Ndigbo gained nothing from PDP in power. Even the Yoruba’s who were anti-PDP since 1999 were compensated with Obasanjo. Rather than asslick the PDP don’t you think it’s time we vie for the candidacy of the PDP and APC, whoever concedes the position to Ndigbo should be the party we throw our support. The interest of Ndigbo should be the Presidency nothing short of that. Anybody carrying party on their head against the core Presidential aspirations of Ndigbo is an enemy. People like MrVitalist are those with realistic views, yours reeks of confusion. Ndigbo must not bow down to threats from any quarter. We must throw our hats into the ring and support any party that can concede the Presidential position to us. |
Who is grabbing lands and who are those fleeing. Op this your news is incomplete. |
Amotekun bill is a distraction for 2023! Ask Fayemi. The SW exposed their cards so early. |
We shall develop at our own pace. |
All things happen for the best. Ganduje is still a good ambassador of Arewa.
|
Wonderful Emir! We shall not stop crying for Arewa until things change for good.
|
GeorgeTheCoder:Too bad. Emir Sanusi the true voice of change from Sharia Republic of Arrewa have been dethroned. Who would speak on behalf of the Almajiri and Talakawas? Well we still have Ganduje to speak for the Almajiri. |
spendoon:This was the same thing that Ahmadu Bello told the British before delaying Nigeria’s push for independence in the 1950’s. Keep working on quota system and cheating. What has been the result? Mass illiteracy, religious fanaticism and killings! Somali and Afghanistan would be paradise by the time the monsters your leaders help create are done with you guys. It’s happening already. Too late |
spendoon:What Nnamdi Kanu does with his certificate is his business. As long as he’s not using it to apply for job. Back to your topic. The east has countless threads on physical and monetary development in their region. Nairaland is awash with these threads, they don’t hide them. Unlike other regions with mere boasts. I always warn people before running riot. There are certain burial ground the north should never venture into and such cemetery is by comparing their developments indices with the east. A big insult to my understanding. These are areas you may receive a bloody nose!! 1. Per Capital Income (The east leads) 2. industrialization 3. Culture & Tourism 4. Banking and cash circulation 5. Education 6. Entrepreneurship 7. FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) 8. Peace Open a proper thread if you don’t mind and gather your brothers there for moral support before many volunteers hit you from all angles with facts. I assure you, that after such misadventure you’ll never resurrect topics like this again. The east is not in competition with any region but itself. |
Azmanaty:I don’t need heaven, when I have my Arewa. I love my home |
This is the most beautiful home in my Arewa
|
This is my beautiful mansion. Call it mud hut or anything. I love my Arewa
|
Apart from religious riots the elites indulge us in, we’ve learnt how to make fast money without sweat. More safer than Boko Haram. Kidnapping is another lucrative business venture. Musa and I love the Okene express road. This is where we operate and ransack travelers for ransoms.
|
When we are high we kill for fun. Bandits, Herdsmen are the most lucrative jobs in Arewa.
|
Even if they burn all truck loads of drugs, we will always buy them from the border with Niger Republic. We love drugs
|
We love to sniff things. Be it gum, marijuana or gutter
|
We love sipping Codeine. Sweeter than beer! Sani aka Arrewa don’t we love drugs?
|
The north is beautiful
|
GeneralPula:Thanks for sharing |
Remove the pin from your eye before removing the log from others. Daily Trust and OP should beam their searchlight in their own backyard.

We must sympathize with this region
