Niger state is the same size as the SW. Oyo state is not bigger than the SE. The SE outstreches it with over 3,000 sqm. Oyo as a state is the whole SW states (Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti) plus some parts of Lagos. However if you add Lagos, then the 5 SW state paces Oyo with a 5000 sqm.

I had sympathy by saying Oyo is 3 SW states, but looking at the map carefully, I can say that Oyo is equivalent to 4 SW states (Ondo, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos) Lagos is replete with lagoon and swamp just forgotten.
