Oshimen has been our best player so far. Most of the amateur coaches criticizing him don’t know football. His link up play has been excellent. Aggression excellent and on/off the ball movement excellent. Even the chance he got came from a bad cross that he still manage to connect to the post. The own goal that was scored came from his positioning and movement.

Osihmen has been lacking quality services in this match and is forced to track back to get the ball. What’s the job of Chukwueze, Moses, Aribo and Osayi doing in this match. None is helping the midfield. None is helping the attack. The defenders like Omeruo, Ajayi and Bassey are always stuck at the back leaving a wide space for the Guineans to utilize.

The coach should begin to look for good wingers to replace the likes of Simon and Chukwueze. Chukwueze is confused and an embarrassment.

Benin Landgrabber stay clear of Delta North and go do your Landgrabbing elsewhere. Jim Ovia and Tony Elumelu are proud Igbos and if it pains you then use a rope. Imagine how you jumped into an innocent thread to display your ignorance.

You can't tell Anioma people where they belong by bringing up ancient migration which no base. If so, then many tribes in Yorubaland won't be called Yoruba today since they migrated from the so-called Benin empire mostly those in Owo Ondo state. In addition, we might begin to call Benin people Yoruba's since Oranmiyan migrated from Ife. We can also call many parts of Isoko Igbo's too since many migrated from Igboland. But you'll never see Igbos do this since they've now ethnically assimilated with their host tribe. Only you lots from Benin are champions of landgrabbing in a bid to bring back a dead Benin Empire that was built by the Portuguese.

Unlike you Benin's, Igbos don't landgrab tribes we are not related with. We are only concerned with those that share ethnic affiliation with us in Language and culture and the colonial masters have long carved Nigerian ethnic groups accordingly before independence. Therefore, anybody looking to landgrab tribes in this modern age is simply wasting their time and you Benin's should be very careful.

Second, I observed your falsification of Jim Ovia's surname which you think is Benin since it’s sounds so. For your information the Ovia you think is Benin is a pure Igbo name. It's just a dialectical differentiation from Central Igbo Ohia which means forest. Now it takes different forms and becomes Ofia, Ovia, Ohia, Oshia in several parts of Igboland. While it's called Ovia in Ika, Aguleri, Awka, Ohafia etc, it becomes Ofia in places like Onitsha, Asaba, Nkpor etc. Additionally, the Ovia is similar to names like Isibor and Irabor which are deep Igbo names that many of you in Edo now bear and think are Benin names.

Third, The 6 Odiani clan which you rightly called Olukunmi are proud Igbos from Aniocha. The only thing that connects them with Yoruba is simply migration. They are proud Igbos and are part and parcel of the Igbo nation, sharing one destiny with us from the pre-independence, to the civil war to modern Nigeria. Anybody looking to grab must first cross into Igboland and will get a proper response not from us but the Odiani people themselves.
I can’t imagine how someone will deviate from the intention of a thread to start capping nonsense. You served him rightly.

Politics / Re: Only Igbos From Anambra, Enugu & Imo Can Run For Chairman In Alaba Market (pic) by Bonessaw(m): 4:24pm On Mar 25, 2023
Mischief Op. Can a Yoruba man become the Chairman of Alaba Rago Market or Mile 12 Hausa market? If you can’t go to an Hausa dominated market to drag leadership position with them, while think you can do same in an Igbo dominated market. Have you ever seen an Igbo drag leadership positions with Hausa in Alaba Rago? We don’t cause we know they’re laid down constitution by the Hausa on how they run their market.

There is an existing constitution on the administration of those market. If Yoruba want to contest for Chairmanship positions, they should first invest in the markets, trade there and make their political agenda known to the traders. Not coming online to disturb our ears.

Oga stop deceiving people. Lagos was former capital. The colonial Lagos stretched from Lekki, Ikoyi, Lagos Island to Apapa, Yaba and stopping at Surulere. The only sections of Lagos that wasn’t part of the colonial Lagos capital were Epe, Ikorodu Ikeja and Badagry divisions.

However, from 1967, Lagos as the federal capital had more adjustment. It saw Awolowo cede Ikeja, Ikorodu, Badagry and Epe divisions to the federal government under Gowon. Ikeja military cantonment was practically the Head of state’s residence. It was Gowon who began the Ikeja airport and development of that axis down to Agege except for the industrial estate that Awolowo built. It was Gowon that began the mass development of the interiors like Badagry, Epe, Ikorodu etc with petrodollar up until IBB.

Ofcourse during the creation of modern Lagos in 1967, Awolowo negotiated a joint rulership of federal and state. While the state retained Ikeja as its capital, the federal government maintained Ikoyi as its capital. But the development was joint. For example, you will see a Brig. Mobalaji Johnson fixing streets in Lagos Island, at the same time you see Gowon constructing Festac and Gowon estate Egbeda. You’ll also see an Ndubuisi Kanu redeveloping the Apapa - Oshodi highway, while Obasanjo constructs the flyovers in Oworonshoki and still build the National threatre.

The 1967 decree that created Lagos gave it a special status and will remain so till date. An asset of joint federal and state. Any wonder why Lagos still enjoys a lot of largesse and federal benefits that others states can get.
Them think say we wey know Lagos history daft. Nice one.

This is a testament of Hope Uzodinma's performance as Governor.

If you believe Nairaland PDP lies, you'll think Hope isn't working. He might not be doing well security wise but in other aspect give it to him. I was in Imo recently and was shocked to see how fast he has gone with the Orlu-Owerri road and Owerri-Okigwe road that Rochas messed up. Cransburg the enginerring company are doing great with the quality of the road.

Do we talk about the Owerri internal roads? Uzodimma carry go.

Tarnish which image of Kanu. You guys think we are daft. Is Kanu not the teacher of Ekpa? Was Kanu non-violent? Didn't Kanu threaten fire & Brimestone? Didn't Kanu used his EndSAR broadcast to glorify killings?

Well I blame both the Nigerian government and IPOB. The government should have listen to the complaints of legit activists insteas of using violence on them. IPOB on the other hand have shown tendecies for violence since day 1.

The killings happening in the east are all IPOB's handiwork, nothing like Fulani.

Winning the Federal House of Reps ticket was simply luck as Mr. Jones another lightweight politician from Nkwerre left to contest for Orlu Senate under the PDP and lost to Rochas. I see Jones coming back for the House of Reps seat after testing his might in the Senatorial elections.
