OrlandoOwoh: It is the need to stop incessant clashes with the locals that is making the House of Assembly to take the step. The locals can't go to the reserved grazing field just as the herdsmen can't take their cattle out of it.Giving them grazing fields isn't going to stop the clashes you know why? There is something called over-grazing! When they've exhausted the pasture, what next? They'll demand for another parcel of land, and another and another till...... That's when you'll realise that "while men slept, the enemy went to sow tares in the wheat field". |
Some of these leaders really need Psych evaluation I swear. Like they've not seen or even heard of the incessant clashes with host communities.Invite them in today and watch them try to push you out tomorrow. |
Ladystewie: eforiroI beg to differ! That edikanikong is such a delicacy. Add better goatmeat(he-goat)preferably,use yellow pepper and you'll bring the whole neighborhood to your doorstep. Udia anem nkemana!! |
aresa: [s][/s]You see your life?? Fear God oo! You choose to ignore the question I asked. Typical supporter of APC! |
aresa: Lagos Cable Car Transit Project: Govt, RTL carry out sub-soil testsJust shut your mouth already! Didn't an earlier report say the cable car is near completion? Why is the new report saying something about soil testing? Where is Gbawe and his follow "workers? Let them come and explain this new development. APC....BIG DISASTER |
God bless you Mr President! |
fydence: @OP you dont get it...The design is such that when the train gets to the 'Rail-less' point @2ndpic.. The train changes from 'Mono-Rail mode' to 'No-rail mode' and moves on WiFi mid air... The project is actually completed.I have tears in my eyes laughing so hard. Thanks for this post! |
Living Faith Church Ikorodu,Lagos. Strange Works! |
SlyIg: So after the two days public holiday, what next?I'm guessing he'll declare another two days of public holiday. |
Now I know!! Bring in nuclear warheads APC come 2015,GEJ is still going to be the C-in-C. |
FFK wannabe! FFK ranted like this just to attract the attention of the FG,today he sings better than a canary in praise of that same government. Sadly though, these rants won't pass NL,so do something else. Till then....... #GEJtilltheworldends# |
okpara ugo: Jonathan, a man sent from God to preside over the largest black nation on earth at the worst period of its trying times.Seconded! |
My heart goes out to those poor kids who are suffering like this. I hope the government will rescue them before it is too late. |
Never knew how addicted I was to this forum till it went offline. I've lost count of the number of times I kept checking to see if it had come back. It was a sad and lonely couple of days during the blackout and I'm mighty glad it is back. Seun and co,please do everything possible to ensure there isn't a repeat of the attack. Welcome back Nairaland, you were greatly missed. |
Honestly,I believe it now. You truly are in need of psychiatric help and that urgently! Get a life boy! |
Joining! Awesome time this season. Exceeding grace! Strange works!! |
This is just too much. Oh my beloved country!! I pray there's a way out soonest. Daylight robbery. Chai! |
GEJ is a man to be feared honestly speaking. See the gang-up against "clueless, retarded" him! I respect you sir! |

Joy will never stop in your home in Jesus Name. Amen! Venue for the Naming? We all wanna come |
For real? This one is big! |
The Vulture and the starving Child Oh! This is just too much. |
Just one month and the prophets of doom are drooling at the mouth. Common sense should tell us that this is to be expected so far there has been a change in management. Staffs have to be sacked/retained new ones employed, old systems replaced or refurbished where needed,in fact so many things before we can see visible changes. Instead of patience we are expecting magic, this from a company that has since time immemorial failed in it's duties. @ Topic, concentrate on improving supply and be consistent before you start looking for profits. |
Orlando Owoh: When last did you take East West road, the same road that the President's mother-in-law died in?Orlando I plied that road on the 1st of this month so I know what I am talking about, large sections have been completed already. Agreed some sections are still bad,but the beautiful thing is work is ongoing on those spots even as we speak. Give credits where it is due and stop working based on hearsay. |
alaoeri: All the projects u claimed to be reading are mere lies & paper work, which yeye SURE-P u talking about, am very conversant with osun, oyo, and ekiti yet in these 3states I cant point to a single project executed by SURE-P, you said electricity is picking abeg for where? because for the last 3days am executing a project at Tincan island no light, my area for Lagos no regular light, computer village for Ikeja no light, the list is endless & u talking about rail if I may ask u, can u travel to Kano from Lagos with the so called reformed rail. Abeg GEJ administration has no direction. The Silos and rice farms with pictures to confirm where paper projects? Please tell me more! Sure-p is visible in those regions I mentioned and please do be patient it is coming to those states, that is if allocations have not been made already oo! Electricity is improving sir just say the truth it really doesn't hurt. I live in Lagos so I am not just talking for talking sake. Factor in the fact that this is a transition period and things are bound to be shaky pending when stability comes. The rails you mentioned are they functional or not? I am yet to hear of those coaches not being filled to capacity all the time. As for GEJ administration lacking direction, maybe it's so because you are looking in the wrong direction perhaps? Nuff said |
I forgot to add,East-West road is presently undergoing constructions please do well to get real facts before you make posts here. Agriculture is being taken care of at least I've read of rice farms and silos all projects undertaken in a short space of time. |
You see this argument of yours is the same point you guys made when Boko Haram was slaughtering citizens of my country by the thousands and the president said "Keep calm it happens everywhere" they bombed everywhere killed without restraint and after thousands died, he deployed the military and I am supposed to praise him? When the subsidy was lifted, we were told the money will putty directly into capital projects like roads, electricity etc and we had to wait for how long for them to start some remedial works? Do you ask yourself why the FG has not done anything since then but they release budgets every year? Where is the second Niger bridge? Wheel is the east-west road? Where is the ministry of agriculture? Where are the rails? Yet I am support to stat passing him for fixing 2% of a road? Are you serious or you are just some sort of comic relief?
Comic relief no my dear,it seems you've beat me to it. Boko Haram as you and I know,no one initially took them seriously until they started wrecking havoc by the dozens. FG didn't do anything about it? Honestly? I can remember Amnesty, dialogues unending, before the deployment of troops so please say something else. Fuel subsidy,SURE-P is what? I've been an eye witness to a SURE-P project in Niger state,Bayelsa,Rivers etc so let's not go there. Electricity is on the right track if you'll be sincere to yourself. Second Niger bridge is still in it's planning stage and I pray work will begin in earnest. The Rails are not up and running Mynd-44? Wow! Really rise above the pettiness puhleese! |
I don't now who will see this and call it development or road construction. The Iworoko road is Ekiti is a state government thing and even as broke as the state is, it is moving on well
Honestly you will lose this particular argument. GEJ has been in office for how long again? Remind me please! First it was that no work was going on,now it's an issue of "it may not even be Lagos Ibadan expressway because you can't see FERMA presence" like seriously? Past governments have neglected that road for eons and now someone is doing something about it,he is canvassing for votes. It really is tiresome arguing back and forth with some people I tell you! Don't join the band wagon, open your mind and think for yourself brah! |
Obot Idim Ibesikpo Asutan Local government Area. Akwa Ibom state! Any of my people here?? |
Holy Smokes!! This is too much too early. Jeez! |
