My husband and I are fighting because . . .

1. He didn't want me to take my daughter to my village for the weekend. (I had to go for my sister's intro)

I really do not know why people get paranoid about taking their kids to their village. I come from a close knit family and I don’t believe any of my relatives will want to ‘jazz’ my child. His fears were baseless and I told him so.

2. He wanted to drive us.

He thinks I’m not a good driver, but it has never bothered him when I travel alone. But because I wanted to go with our kid, he suddenly decided it was risky. I was offended because why on earth will he think I will want to endanger my own child by driving recklessly?

And then when we got back, he saw some mosquito bites and allergic reactions on her body and went ballistic and blamed me for it. She also had an accident (a standing mirror fell on her head and shattered )and I had to consult our doctor and he found out about it.

He then said I'll NEVER EVER take her to the village overnight again!

The point is that I refuse to let him stop me from taking my daughter where I want to. I feel if I give in now and try to resolve this quarrel, I’ll be accepting his own terms. He's not budging either (men and their daughters! )

I'm thinking of agreeing to it now just to end this face off, but go ahead and do what I want to in future!

Sorry but I don't agree with you. I don't believe that as a Christian I should spend my life worrying over what might be "occultic" or not.
Since I am a Christian, the power of God that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me. Now why should I be afraid of little demons in handkerchiefs or whatever have you?

If a lady wants to wear a trouser, let her wear it there is no sin in her trousers. Men will lust after anything including a woman dressed in a niqab. Women also will lust after men in suits, should men not wear suits? The sin is lust and not the clothing.

Truth is, a heavenly concious christian wouldn't listen to a secular song..

Imagine your pastor singing songs of lucifer (Jay z & the likes) .. imagine your bishop dancing with 2face, shouting "nothing dey happen"..

and.. not all "gospel songs" is good for a heavenly concious christian.. nowadays, "gospel" singers act and dress like niggas, gangsters, touts and hooligans.. very soon, gospel singers would fix ciggarette in their mouth on stage.. very soon..

Well if this story is true (I have my doubts) then let her work it off, assuming you pay her an income, let her work it off and when she is done she leaves. That is how it is done between employer- Employee, except you keep her there and "feed" her without a defined income.

I always tell people if you want a good maid, define the job description, define the working hours, not dusk to dawn, Pay a fare wage and give benefits. They provide a service you cannot, they are not the scum of the earth.

What can u do when you hae a husband that keeps malice with you in every little misunderstanding you have with him.

He will keep malice with you for weeks or even months. When you greet him early in the morning he snobs you. You greet him in d evening when he comes back, he will not respond.

If he wants to eat, he asks the house help to give him food which you cooked yourself. Or he getsthe food himself. He will not talk to you until he is satisfied. He doesn't pick your calls.
