Kennyxchange:
Good day to all the boss in the house. I just got admission into the Estonian university of life sciences in tartu.

I need some clarification and I will appreciate swift answers from you all.

1. Where’s the best place to go process my Estonian D visa?

2. Do I necessarily need pof to process my visa?
3. If yes how much do I need to show as pof?
4. My in-law is my sponsor, do I need to attach his statement of account as my in-law? Considering that we both bear different surnames or is there anything I can do about it.

Patiently waiting for your responses.

Thanks

Good day to you. Please, have you gotten any information about the visa process?

Please, has anyone gotten to Estonia recently? What's the process for traveling? Is the Egypt route still good? Or which would be advised?

Education / Advice On Programs Focused On Teaching O-level Courses For 1 - 1.5 Years by BossTtdiamonds(m): 3:39pm On Dec 05, 2021
Good day to everyone on this lovely forum.

Please, I am seeking your advice and possible suggestions on programs here in Nigeria that teach core courses like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

Context
The thing is, the last born of our family just finished from secondary school, passed her NECO exams, but has her WAEC result witheld.

While having a dialogue with her about next steps, she informed me that her learning experience in school was not so great, and that the bulk if the time, she only read to pass.
She asked about the possibility of taking a 1 - 2 year programme where her understanding about core science subjects can be better polished. She told me she doesn't think her knowledge based is well developed to take on a science based course in the university.

Given the outlined context, I want to know if there are programs focused on teaching core science courses (e.g. math, physics, and chemistry) maybe for about 1 - 1.5 years, where they'll start from rudimentary /basics of each course.

I have searched online, and I saw programmes like Jupeb (not sure about the spelling) and other A level programmes, but I don't know if they would be right for her.

Please, let me know what you think, possible suggestions, and associated cost.

Thanks.

*I'd appreciate if the mods can help me move this to the front page.

Thanks.

Education / Re: My project supervisor wants to take credit for my research work by BossTtdiamonds(m): 12:51am On Oct 26, 2021
hilltop007:
My final year project supervisor called me to summarize my research work of 2 years for publication. He sent me a copy of one of his ex-student work that he published. It was only his ex student who did the work with guidance from my supervisor, but the published paper has two authors; my supervisor (main author) and his ex student. Only my supervisor's contact was also in the paper.

I strongly believe that's what he will also do with mine. Should I give him the go ahead? If I don't publish it, it will probably rot. Or is there a way for me to publish it myself?

The last author in the list of authors is the principal investigator. He placed his email there as the corresponding author, because, he'll be asking most of the questions reviewers throw.
If it's just two authors - his person and your person, your name holds the same weight as his.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by BossTtdiamonds(m): 3:00pm On Aug 29, 2021
Good day to us all. Please, I want to inquire about what option would be best for me to take now, given the delay in FSWP nomination.

I am currently in the Express Entry pool with a CRS score of 473 points.
I clocked 30 this year, have a master degree and would be completing my PhD early next year (so there's the possibility of raising my point, even if I drop 5 points on age factor).

I work as a data analyst and my work experience is registered under the 2172 NOC code for "Database analysts and data administrators". Although, I have some most of my documentation ready, my POF is currently saved as a liquid asset (USDT) because of the volatile nature of the Naira currency.

I really want to seek an advice on if I should wait for the FSWP to resume, or should I just gun for Ontario or British Columbia PNP?

Please, I need an advice on this.

Thanks but I think Estonia is kinda expensive. Computer scence is about 6,000 dollars in TUT. Can a student work there? Kindly suggest a school in Estonia that offers a course in IT for a lesser fee. Thanks again.

In all, Estonia is a really good place to be at. You don't have to study computer science if it is too expensive. You can study and work. You mostly only have 3 courses to write per semester. I have folks (old 32 and above) that are moving to Estonia this year.

Most computer science related courses in Estonia are cheap. Tallinn University (TU) courses range from EUR 1,650 (USD 1,800 approx.) to EUR 2,000 (USD 2,200 approx.) per semester for bachelor degree programs

Help!!! I need a serious and sincere advice on leaving this country. I'll be 30 next year (single) and I have only O'level, went to university but gave up for some reasons.. Now I have about #5m and want to move, how can I pls I'm considering some of the Eastern countries like Ukraine, belarus, romania etc for studies but I don't know if it's worth it and if I can make a move to a better country from there. Someone also told me to try apply for diploma in Canada. I'm also considering the UK but I don't know if the money I have will be enough and also if my age won't be a limit. Please nairalanders come to my aid as I'm so confused right now. Thanks

Estonia would be your go to place. They don't have an age catchment, and your funds should cover most of the expenses you'll be incurring.
