Buhari should give himself brain and stop acting am a military man. The fact is that no amount of military presence can stop the boys from operating in their creek

You want to arrest Tompolo; you want to silence Dokubo, yet you rely on their oil to finance your padded budget, who does that?

Crime / Gunmen Kill Soldier, Kidnap Expatriates In Bayelsa by BossWike(m): 11:43pm On Apr 05, 2016
Armed gunmen on Tuesday shot dead a soldier attached to the military task force code named ‘Operation Pulo Shield’ and abducted two expatriates workers with Setraco construction company, during a shootout along the Ogbia-Nembe road in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The incident, which threw road users and passersby along the Opume Junction axis of Ogbia Local Government and the Bassanbiri/Ogbolomabiri axis of Nembe local council area into pandemonium occurred at about 8am on Tuesday morning.

The killing of the two soldiers came just a day after authorities of the Joint Force operating in the region disclosed that its troops have rescued a soldier who was kidnapped by suspected sea pirates along the Nembe creek on the 24th of March.

The soldier who has spent ten days in the kidnappers den was rescued by troops from Sector 2 of the command during a search and rescue Operation in the creek around Otakeme Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Though it could not be ascertained if the killing of the soldiers was in retaliation for the four sea pirates killed by the task force in the course of rescuing their colleagues from their den, eyewitnesses said the operation was carefully planned by the gunmen as they took the soldiers unaware.

One of the eyewitnesses confirmed our correspondent that the soldiers, who were attached as security detail to the Setraco personnel on the site of the road project, were suddenly attacked with sophisticated weapons from the bushes in what could be described as an ambush and did not notice until it was too late.

Though no other life was lost some of the indigenes of Nembe kingdom, who were returning to Yenagoa en-route Opume road, were caught in the early morning gun battle between the gunmen and the soldiers
A Hilux utility vehicle driver identified as Monday, who witnessed the scene, said it was a like a movie scene. “The soldiers were shooting and the armed men were shooting. We later saw signs of blood everywhere when the soldiers removed the blood soaked colleague and some expatriates.”

Attempts to get confirmation from the spokesman of the Bayelsa Police Command, Asimin Butswat failed as his phone rang out and replies were not sent to different messages sent.

But the Coordinator of the Joint Media Centre of the Security Task Force, Col. Isa Ado,denied knowledge of the incident and stated in a terse text message that “Not confirmed as no such report at our disposal at the moment.”

Politics / Re: Fuel Price To Increase As FG Plans To Review Price Next Month by BossWike(m): 7:31pm On Apr 05, 2016
I could remember last year when GEJ reduced the price of fuel from N97 to N87, the silly mere Commissioner Osinbajo said it was not enough, that the President should have reduced it to N50 going by the global price of crude oil, he added that the reduction was done so as to gain support for the election. Now they are there, they can not even maintain the price GEJ left but wants to increase it.

This is one of the reasons why it will never be well with all APC families and apologists!

Politics / State Of Economy: PDP's Wasteful 16 Years Reason Nigeria Is Poor – Buhari by BossWike(m): 11:51pm On Apr 04, 2016
By Levinus Nwabughiogu
ABUJA -

In a manner that depicted worry and anger consequent upon the present poor state of the Nigerian economy, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday in Abuja lashed out at the 16 years rule of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, regretting that the previous governments did not save for the "rainy day".

Buhari spoke while receiving the President of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Dr. Bernard O. Aliyu at the State House, Abuja.

Making a comparison of PDP governments to the first republic which he said achieved a lot with meager resources of that time, the president regretted that the PDP governments failed to help the economy grow even with the all-time rise of crude oil sales of $100 dollars per barrel then.

President Buhari who also declared that Nigeria needed to grow beyond mere emphasis on its potentials, however assured that his administration would do its best to develop the economy beyond rethorics.
He said "Nigeria needs to work on her potentials, so that we don't remain permanently at the level of potentials.

“If Ethiopia is sustained largely by her airline industry, we have greater potentials here. But we must move out, engage with the rest of the world, as we need to re-establish the integrity of this country. We need to rebuild this country again."

The President recounted that for the greater part of the last 16 years, oil sold above $100 per barrel but expressed regret that the nation did not have much to show for it.
“In the First Republic, more enduring infrastructure was built with meager resources.

But in the past 16 years, we made a lot of money without planning for the rainy day.
“We showed a lot of indiscipline in managing our economy, and that is why we are where we are today. But this time round, we'll do our best."

Speaking earlier, Dr Aliyu, the Nigerian-born ICAO president commended President Buhari for strides on anti- corruption, and urged Nigeria to pay more attention to development of civil aviation.
“Civil aviation is a catalyst for economic development. The level of aviation development in any country mirrors the economic development of that country," he said.

The ICAO president also pledged to support the development of the aviation industry in Nigeria, urging the country to improve on training and capacity development, aviation security, aerodromes and air navigation, runways, control towers, terminal buildings, among others.

I knew its all about the Youwin and nothing else. The thing you didn't quite realize is, Youwin created like 1,500 jobs annually which generated less than 15,000 semi-skilled jobs. Watch my use of the word "semi-skilled". If you talk of the real graduate jobs created by Youwin, it's less than 10,000. Compare that with employment in the telecom industry and banking wih employees earning up to 100,000 plus monthly. I warned the Jonathan government to invest up to 1 trillion in the Youwin to create up to 100,000 jobs if they wanted to make any impact in the employment industry, but they we're investing 12billion instead and only scratched the surface, compare that with trillions being stolen in the oil industry and you'll understand why Nigerians are angry. Don't judge this governmen selfishly else you'll never understand why they lost election, I know people who have been applying for that Youwin since it started but they are told to try again each year after getting to the finals.

Going to sure-p, that thing was no employment, most of them learnt nothing, this would've been helped if refineries were built, so they can generate jobs in the petrochemical industry. When we talk about jobs, we're not talking about N25,000 jobs, these are undergraduate level jobs that can't afford you rent and bills,

Talking about railway, did You just say it created jobs? I see banks and telecom companies advertising jobs everyday, where are the railway jobs advertised? Or should we say every 500 jobs created should be regarded as a bases to claim there was meaningful job creation?

I commend the agric sector expansion, however, we're talking about job creating for graduates and likes, how many were empowered to God into agriculture business? I don't blame you for seeing things very rosy because you got empowered, but if you were to be honest enough to see the level of unemployment, you'll understand why Nigerians want justice for Jonathan's corrupt government

You just allowed your passion for APC override your sense of reasoning.
Let's assume that GEJ didn't create any job as u claimed, one year down, how many jobs has ur Buhari created?

socialmediaman:
Op, many of the Nigerians who voted the president-elect are non-partisan too. When I read posts portraying Jonathan as having lost election due to opposition criticism, it baffles me because, some Nigerians who support Jonathan seem not to understand the hardships faced by millions under his government in the face of looting going on in his government. Last time I cheked, Obasanjo's government created hundreds of thousands or millions of jobs in the telecom and banking sectors, how many jobs did Jonathan create? I've never witnessed any government where people will be stealing at will and the president looks away as if everything is okay. I personally think that it would have been foolish If Jonathan was re-elected into power, but Nigerians did the right thing.

You questioned the election in Kano and other states, but you thought it was okay, what happened in Rivers, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Delta etc? Do you see the height of hypocrisy? Just tell me you wanted GEJ to rig the election so you can tell Buhari to go to court, because if a 100% fraud-free election is conducted, GEJ won't get up to 40% of votes. He is not missed, believe me. Some even wish him prison, but I wish him to just leave and retire peacefully and never come back!!!

So u agree that PDP under Obj created a lot of jobs? Than God it is no longer 16 years of rot as being claimed by ur party APC

Meanwhile, when we talk about a leader creating direct job, GEJ is the best so far!
I don't need to explain further because zombies will never believe that

Buhari couldn't provide:

Fuel for the masses,
Security for those being killed by his brothers
Justice for those fighting for their rights
Power supply for the country
Forex for businesses and education
Good roads
Water supply
Sound economic team to help tackle the economic recession
Jobs for the masses
Job security for the working class
A corrupt free environment
Etc..

But yet some fools had the effrontery to post useless pictures of Buhari:

Chilling in the presidential jet
Drinking sachet Milo
Hypnotizing his cows
Sitting close to Obama

Being interviewed by a kid that knows he's nothing but a brain dead dullard
Etc,

All these, including the useless facade anti-corruption news are in a bid to take our minds off the hardship we're facing in this God forsaken country. News flash, you can't bring a positive change thru media antics but by diligent and creative work.

It is too early for pdp to start dreaming of returning to aso rock after 16 wasted yrs. Nigerians should give change a chance. We nid 16 years of apc so that we can ask how far, make a gud comparison of transformation and change and follow the lead.

So you are saying we should leave APC to loot our common wealth dry? You must be a joker!

Yes PDP had some short comings, but believe it or not their worst is better than what we are currently witnessing under APC.

I believe PDP has learnt their lessons, so coming back in 2019 will lead to a brilliant performance coupled with their wealth of experience
