Politics / Buhari’s Administration More Clueless Than Jonathan’s – Chibok Girls’ Mother by BossWike(m): 11:58am On Aug 15, 2016
Esther Yakubu, the mother of one of the abducted girls, Dorcas, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was “more clueless than Jonathan’s.”

She said this after seeing her daughter speak in the new video released by the Boko Haram insurgents demanding swap of their detained members with the Chibock girls.
Esther said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was “more clueless than Jonathan’s.”

“The Chibok girls must be rescued, they must have their lives, the future that Boko Haram tries to truncate,” she said in an emotional outburst.
Earlier, Esther had told one of our correspondents that she regretted putting Dorcas in boarding school.

“I wanted her to have the best of education, I planned to sponsor her education to whatever level she wanted, but she could not sit for her final examinations because she was abducted.

“Boko Haram in the video asked the government to release their members so that they could release our girls. If the government knows that it cannot handle the insurgency, it should invite other countries. It is not a crime to seek assistance in a war. It is a shame for them to allow our daughters to languish in captivity for over two years.

“I don’t regret sending her to school, but I regret putting her in boarding school. If she was a day student, she would be home with me that night. The abduction affected her because she was in boarding school,” Yakubu added.

She said apart from her daughter, she recognised about 20 other girls.
“I recognised Saratu Ayuba, Awa Ishaiya and others. In that video, Dorcas has grown up a little and she is slimmer. I cried when I saw her in the video. That is only change I observe, but I thank God she is alive.”
Dorcas’ father, Kabu Yakubu, urged the government to release Boko Haram detainees in exchange for the Chibok girls, adding that the demand had boosted his hope that his daughter and others would eventually make it home.

“I will sleep well because since she was kidnapped, I have never seen her in other videos released. But today, I saw her in the video, and my joy was rekindled.
“What we have been telling the government is what Boko Haram demanded in the video. We are appealing to the government to help us to release Boko Haram detainees so they can release our daughters. In the video, my daughter was begging the government to negotiate with the terrorists and they (Boko Haram) said unless the government releases their members who were being detained in Abuja, Lagos and Maiduguri prisons, they won’t release the girls.

Sports / Mikel To Sports Ministry: We Need More Motivation by BossWike(m): 11:49am On Aug 15, 2016
Excited about the qualification of the Nigeria U-23 team for the semi finals of the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports has again assured players and officials of the team that they will be given all that is due to them.

Addressing the players and officials after the 2-0 defeat of Denmark in Saturday’s quarter final match in Salvador, the Sports Minister, Barrister Solomon Dalung, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Chinyeaka Ohaa, said: “I am happy to be a Nigerian, because in spite of all the challenges, you have taken the world by storm; you have by your performance, given happiness to more than 160 million Nigerians.

Football is the biggest unifying factor in Nigeria today. From Mr. President to the average Nigerian you have made everyone proud today.
“I am humbled by your efforts, your commitment, your patriotism. I want to assure you that your sacrifices will not be in vain. Aside whatever the NFF have for you, we will as much as possible, make you happy, if only you will be patient with us. Today, with your performance, I am convinced that you will get that gold.”

It was learnt that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has refunded to Captain Mikel Obi the $4,600 he paid for the team in São Paulo on their way to Salvador.
Responding, Mikel said: “We want to thank you for your fatherly support. In truth, there have been a lot of challenges, but every time we go onto the field, we forget about everything and make sure our fatherland comes first. We have done that so far and we will continue to do that, but we need more motivation.”

Pastor Ize Iyamu the Governor in waiting of Edo State.

Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu (POI) is our next Governor......PDP taking over.

All these noise making south west APC bootlickers that know nothing about Edo State Politics, Saying a politicial novice like Obaseki that has no grassroots support will defeat Ize Iyamu needs to have their brain reset back to factory setting.

These same APC bootlickers made noise and boasted that Silva would defeat Dickson in the Bayelsa Election, they also made noise about APC winning most of the seats in the Rivers State Re-Run Election, but the results from those elections showed otherwise and exposed their high level of sophisticated ignorance, cowardice and political naivety.

Ize Iyamu will win at least 65% of Edo South Electoral Votes which happens to have the largest number of voters in the State.

Ize Iyamu will win nothing less than 95 % of Edo Central Votes, which has the second highest number votes in Edo State, a projected 95% electoral votes for PDP in Edo Central, is not a big surprise to any one who understands Edo State Politics, APC and Oshiomole are naturally disliked in Edo Central due to very strong anti Oshiomole sentiments in Edo Central, another factor is Edo Central is where Chief Tony Annenih hails from. PDP got a block vote in the last election in Edo Central, Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu will get a block vote in Edo Central.

In Edo North which happens to be where Oshiomole hails from and has the lowest number of electoral votes in Edo State, Godwin Obaseki will win a projected 75% of the Electoral Votes in Edo North.

Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu ( POI) is the Governor in waiting at No 1 Dennis Osadebe Avenue GRA Benin City Edo State.[/b][/size]

I like your anylysis... Don't mind those pple frm the Wasted region making ineffective noise here.

Pls can u help us indicate the senatorial districts of each of the candidates, I mean both PDP and APC candidates

By Jimitota Onoyume PORT HARCOURT:

A group of ex-militants under the aegis of Ekpeye Liberation Group, on Friday, handed a 14-day ultimatum to multinational oil companies in Ahoada East and West local government areas to move out of the area or risk attack on their facilities.

Spokesman of the ex-militants, Mr Obodo Obodo in a statement in Port Harcourt alleged that most oil companies doing business in the area had failed to sign any memorandum of understanding with communities. According to him, “the group is aware that almost all the operating companies, Nigerian Agip oil company, NAOC, Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas, NLNG, Niger Delta Petroleum Resources , NDPR have their pipelines and other facilities criss crossing Ekpeye land.”

The group said it had already blown up one oil well allegedly belonging to Agip in Ahoada West local government area, and threatened to carry out more attacks on oil facilities in the area if the oil companies fail to leave the area. “Incase you may want to take this demand for withdrawal from Ekpeyeland lightly , we have already blown up Well 5 in Akara Olu, Ahoada West local government area. It is owned by Agip. Other more terrible actions await non compliance with this directive “, the group said.
