As far as am concern, the senate has not lived up to expectation. VAPP Bill is not the very important bill Nigerians want to hear, what about the Petroleum Industrial Bill (PIB) that has been lingering since 2007? Why are they shying away from passing the bill, is it not because the cabals continued to influence and frustrate the PIB knowing fully well that their oil scam biz will be blocked?

Jimwalex: oh boy! see gobe!!
meanwhile, say 'YES' to ONE NATION.. Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas and many other Nigerian tribes share a lot of similarities which indicate that we have been interacting with one another before the tragedy of colonialism. Take a look at these linguistic examples;
Stone: Igbo- Okwute, Yoruba-Okuta, What: Igbo-Gini, Yoruba-Kini, Mouth: Igbo-Onu, Yoruba-Enu, Body::Igbo-Aru, Yoruba-Ara, Ear: Igbo-Nti, Yoruba-Eti. Bag: Igbo-Akpati, Yoruba-Apo, Goat: Igbo-Ewu, Yoruba-Ewure Onion: Hausa-Alibasa, Yoruba-Alubosa Stool: Hausa-Akwati, Yoruba-Apoti Matches: Hausa-Ashana, Yoruba-Ishana Father: Hausa-Uba, Yoruba-Baba, Mellon: Igbo-Egwusi, Hausa:Agusi, Yoruba-Egusi.. And so on! These are just a few of our many similarities which no one can really explain how they came about. Let us forget our differences and build on our similarities. That is the way forward for Nigeria! all trash! when it came to electing Nigeria leader we discovered we are never one! |

2.They are studying the situation and will come up with their response in due course.
On a more serious note though, what's there to defend ? "Its the work of the devil" or "it wasn't me"?
Still waiting for the Barcanista to come up with one of his self serving/attention seeking threads, he has no excuse now, he got his much needed "security" so story. LasgidyPort: Buhari is well qualified to contest. If u think otherwise, then go the legal way in establishing this fact. A nos of people earlier went to court for this same issue. Nobody put a gun on their head for them to withdraw their spurious case.
If they indeed have a valid case, then let them follow it to a logical conclusion.
Buhari has a statement of result copied from a supposed result broadsheet. A copy of the results sheet itself was also given to him. This is because he claimed his certificate is not where he thought it was.
Anyone that is of the opinion that the result is fake can file a case at the law court. It is very easy. The court during the proceedings can then subpoenaed Cambridge to produce a certified true copy in court. we all know what is there. even though the foundation is faulty taking the side of GEJ, we leave the sleeping dog to lie for the sake of peace. We hope and wish Buhari delivers. |

LasgidyPort: Shut up pls! The president has the power to hire and fire according to the laid down law, everybody knows that. But it has to be according to the laid down rule! It is this kind of impunity encouraged and supported by some ignorant people that has not made this country to progress beyond this.
Nigerians don't like following law and order. And it is even more pathetic that they will still be encouraging their leaders to do same. Was law and order implored in the qualification of Buhari to contest the general election? were the issues surrounding his WASC resolved according to the law? Anything that involves GEJ some of you develop instant wrath without caring to make your search. |
