H52 by NextHome - Flexibity meets Efficiency.

When we took up the shop in ISC, we began brainstorming how we can effectively maximize the space available.
Much of the work at NextHome in /015 will be done in one-on-one conversation, or small-group meetings. So a flexible office space was given a significant consideration--especially as the company grows.

In a typical traditional office, a worker is away from her desk 40 to 60 percent of the time to attend meetings etc. (Now that's inefficient use of space.) Here, at NextHome, we believe as workers become dependent on only a highly portable computer, the traditional notion of the cubicle office, or the executive office, seems unnecessary.

Here at H52, we created not just a mixed-use office space, but also seating arrangements for small groups of employees who will work together frequently, encasing the area with toughened frameless glass screens to serve as a noise buffer.

Our office is considered second to none in ISC because we are UNIQUE.

Upping Our Build Process Technologically

One common mistake I’ve noticed businesses make repeatedly is letting their office fall behind the curve with outdated software and hardware. Savvy business owners and managers like myself understand the need for business tech upgrades and how to tackle those upgrades.

At NextHome, we know that office equipment is the work horse or backbone of our office. This is why we ensure that they are not only working correctly, but efficiently as well.

Newest additions to our business

1. MacBook Air 11" Core i7, 8GB, OSx Yosemite

2. Apple TV for presentations and iOS airplay/air mirroring.

3. LG 29" IPS Ultra-wide Monitor for dual link presentations. Our presentations just got better with the 4-screen split and dual link feature.

4. Lenovo Y500 Core i7 Quad Core, 16GB RAM, 1TB + 16GB SSD, 1080p for design works. Architecture Department just got better with this machine.

5. iPad mini - considering the space constraint, we opted for an iPad mini for all our key staffs. More like business-on-the-go.

6. Lots of other cool gadgets and equipment.

7. Cloud integration - quotes, bills, invoices, PM softwares etc.

In 2015, we will take advantage of an automated environment to minimize costs, increase efficiency, and boost productivity.

Those who remain on the technological forefront will be poised for the greater success as we enter the new year 2015.

As a usual tradition with all our projects, NextHome's new office space in Ikota Shopping Complex is receiving a lot of compliments on the look and feel of our refreshingly dynamic work environment.

I can't wait to see the expression you'll adore after seeing our new office.

It's not so difficult to find us. Our new office space is a perfect expression of our style and value proposition.

We welcome you!

mr brabus pls I noticed its like you tied the upper part of your column reinforcement together pls why is this so.pls can u explain the purpose
It's the lintel. The horizontal structural member placed on across an opening.

Based on the design of the windows (4.5m wide), we designed a chained lintel to adequately support the imposed load and the span. Otherwise, the structural member over the openings may sag/deflect if found inadequate.

I am a business person and I love to build good structures for rent. For over a year, I have been learning a lot from Nairaland Property section, but this is my first comment. I don't like the way they sometimes attack people on forums like this, that's one of the reasons I prefer to observe and study quietly. I'm forced to comment on this because of the way spyder is being attacked and castigated. People are free to express their thoughts, but to me spyder is magnanimous to put us through his project details and even reveal his cost. I have been following a lot of his threads and to me he is a great guy. My regards to hajj Muftau, I see him as an Elder statesman on this section. Thumbs up to segcy moore, Brabus, kkonsults, chekitaut, trumpcoat and others. I have learnt a lot from you guys.
Thank you Bro for your words of encouragement. I'll never forget the advice of good people like diordavies. He said "Change Tack" and when I did the result is different. I've observed that these attacks and castigations is peculiar to Nairaland client so my advice to colleagues in the business is to choose their clients wisely and always keep records of every transactions, every time there's a breach, every addition and subtractions. You might be surprised when you'll actually need them.

Last year a client went as far as petitioning the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State over a 5 month plus project we handled for him and to the glory of God, we weren't found guilty of anything and walk home a free man. The question the Officer-in-Charge asked that I wont forget is "Did you gave him money to build a house in XYZ and the house was built in ABC? Abeg, make we digress. God don punish devil! grin grin grin

I'll forever be grateful for all the kind support we receive from you guys all the time. You always inspire us to do more.
