Uteghe:
grin Wash! Ikwerre CTC chairman was sack for allowing IYM to hold reception for Amaechi in his domain.
What would he have done? Stop them from holding it when he doesn't control the security? If that's the case, why we're the others sacked? Or did you intentionally decide to have Amnesia about the other two?
CelebritiesRe: "Mr Eazi's Dress Sense Is Bad!" - Fans Slam Singer Over His Dressing (Photo) by brainpower(m): 1:56pm On Dec 14, 2017
Mr Easi's show is not what's paining me about this post.
My problem is calling a full grown man "and somebody else". Chai. May God forgive you. grin grin grin
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Wokekoro (Ikwerre 1) Is Dead by brainpower(m): 12:28pm On Dec 14, 2017
He is truly a great Ikwerre son.
He was more popular when rivers state was still under one party.

Though I heard he's g*y.
Can't confirm that anyway. RIP

I love the way Genevieve has transformed herself to the classiest Nollywood actress.
She behaves like she's not in competition with anyone at all.

I like that.
PoliticsRe: Nyesom Wike Storms Mbiase With No Security Detail. by brainpower(m): 9:42am On Dec 03, 2017
Truth is that none of these politicians need the security for their personal safety, it's mostly to clear roads and the "swag".
A norma sniper can kill any of them at any time with the kind of security they move with. Abi na our Nigerian Police go protect them from sniper?
CelebritiesRe: Eldee On Slavery In Libya: Those With House Helps Are Also Involved In Slavery by brainpower(m): 4:17pm On Nov 29, 2017
He made some good points there

But personally, I can't compare what's happening here to that of Libya. Some of them are being used for medical experiments while the organs of some others are harvested and sold to rich men.

All in all, this is purely man's inhumanity to man.
PoliticsRe: Bukola Saraki Not Licensed To Practice Medicine In UK - General Medical Council by brainpower(m): 7:03pm On Nov 28, 2017
Sahara Reporters and their obsession with Saraki. What does he need the licence for right now? He obviously practised but the hospital is closed. I don't see the news here.

Truth is they and PremiumTimes have been going beyond other media houses to report news and I appreciate them but SaharaReporters behave unprofessional at times.
CelebritiesRe: Chris Brown Reacts To Libya Slave Trade by brainpower(m): 6:17pm On Nov 28, 2017
musicwriter:
Who's facts are you talking about?

Britain, US, France, Spain, Portugal, all got rich from slave trade. What part of Africa got rich from slavery?

If we sold human beings; don't you think we would have also gotten rich from slavery?

Slaves as always were gotten through coercion, war, fraud, forcefully as you can see in Libya today. The only thing missing here is war, but when you consider they're running away from economic crises, its exactly the same thing as running away from war and being caught as slave. Contrary to what you believe, most of the slaves were prisoners of war, people running away from several wars unleashed on Africa by Europeans.

Slavery has been going on in Europe before it was brought over to Africa. Its in your bible. The first (black) slaves didn't even come from Africa, but from Spain and Portugal. They were the Moors conquered and taken away to Haiti by Pope Martin V around 1506, even before the African shipments began.

See the true history of slavery and slave acquisition in Africa http://www.africason.com/2016/03/the-true-history-of-slavery-and-slave.html
I understand the point you are trying to make sir. But funny enough the link you gave for me to enlighten myself is still from those westerners you condemned above.

I'm not to old but I was told stories and even witnessed how some parents used to scare some of their children that they will sell them to slave traders when they misbehave.

There were kingdoms that were being run by the British but through a proxy who is usually named king. And that's how some of them became rich and popular then.

But let's not argue much. You have your facts and I have mine. Please let's leave it at that. Thanks.
CelebritiesRe: Chris Brown Reacts To Libya Slave Trade by brainpower(m): 12:39pm On Nov 28, 2017
mmsen:
Why would they care about you when as you said it is Africans selling their kinsmen into slavery, again?

You can't help stupid people.

You can't help people who have no regard for their own welfare or environment.
I was trying to address Chris Brown's concerns and at the same time address how bad we are to each other as Africans.
CelebritiesRe: Chris Brown Reacts To Libya Slave Trade by brainpower(m): 10:39am On Nov 28, 2017
That's man's inhumanity to man. It is a fact that most of the people that were taken away during the slave trade were not "stolen" or forced, they were sold by their parents and community leaders. Now see what's happening here and yet no adequate publicity.

If it was that fake Chibok girls story that were kidnapped by the politicians they would have carried placards as if they care about us.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Fires Back At Sagay by brainpower(m): 8:05am On Nov 28, 2017
The sad truth about all this is that Buhari will still be re-elected come 2019, whether by hook or by crook.
Atiku will try but it will only take a special Grace of God for him to win.
So we are on our own till 2023.
FamilyRe: My Husband Is Afraid Of Me And It's Getting Me Worried by brainpower(m): 5:10am On Nov 28, 2017
Your husband's pastor or spiritual head or mother has told him that you are a witch and a powerful one at that.

Go to his family and complain and leave the house immediately because he might have told some people about this.

If anything happens to him, you'll be accused of killing your husband.

This is a result of improper orientation. Before you talk now they will say they are feminists and have the same right as men to brag about sex.

Truth is, no responsible person both men and women will be proud of this.

She's just young and ignorant and I wish she had someone to teach her better morals.
EducationRe: Top 10 Universities To Study Engineering In Nigeria? by brainpower(m): 3:51pm On Nov 03, 2017
You people have started this university ranking again. Soon, somebody will ask "are these the top 10 Universities to study medicine?" yet no statistics to show proof.

Looking at your list, it's still the same names I see when nairalanders try to rank universities generally too.

So if Kachikwu is removed, he orchestrated it to look as if it didn't come from him.
SportsRe: Floyd Mayweather Flaunts His Fleet Of Luxury Cars (Photos) by brainpower(m): 11:44am On Oct 07, 2017
Jakumo:
This blanket statement is not universally true. There are more than a few Caucasian millionaires, like John Travolta, for example, who are extremely flamboyant, who squander money on expensive cars and aircraft, and who travel the world's finest luxury tourist destinations, yet would NEVER spend a dime to help those less fortunate. Selfish vanity is NOT the exclusive preserve of black people.

Were I blessed to earn a fortune like boxing champ Mayweather, I would settle for a nice used Mercedes CLK550 parked in a modest home on each continent, and then devote the rest of the cash to buying up choice real estate holdings worldwide, and on a daily basis.
This is the kind of reply I expected the apexj guy to give to the guy castigating blacks.
Rather than abusing and telling him how poor he is, he should have engaged him with points and facts just like you did.
Being stupid with money isn't exclusive to blacks. There are several reports of white people misusing money.
PoliticsRe: Should SARS Be Scrapped? (pics) by brainpower(m): 7:00am On Oct 06, 2017
There's no justification for shooting any citizen whatsoever as long as the person isn't provoking you with a gun, even if the person has a gun and is running or isn't pointing it at you, you still shouldn't shoot him. There are rules of engagement in handling arms.

In as much as they have their uses, I think they have taken their job too far, it's the only criteria for your being recruited into SARS is that you must be and behave like an animal or a tout. They dress anyhow, handle guns with at least 3 magazines tapes to it, the display machetes anyhow.

Though I know they are also fighting animals but with the way they go about it, I think they should change or be scrapped.

Based on your story, you didn't even state eyewitness or any other source.

CelebritiesRe: Paul Okoye: 'Bank Alert' Was My First Solo Video, I Regret Making A Mistake by brainpower(m): 1:01pm On Oct 03, 2017
Serious publicity stunt from these two.
In as much as their songs have good rhythms, I am one of those that don't really rate them high because most of their songs and beats are samplings of other people's songs especially foreign artists.
PoliticsRe: Police Officer Storms Uyo Court With Armed Policemen, Snatches His Daughter by brainpower(m): 12:46pm On Oct 03, 2017
Nigeria's major problems can be summarized into two:
Corruption in Security agencies
Corruption in INEC

If we can get these two right, things will move forward.
PoliticsRe: Hamza Al-mustapha’s 2019 Presidential Campaign Poster Surfaces by brainpower(m): 12:37pm On Oct 03, 2017
Well, if buhari can be Nigeria's president then Al Mustapha can too. Afterall they all worked for the same man, Abacha. And Abacha himself had followers if not for his untimely death, he would have been our president by now.

Kazim88:
Nigeria can never be restructure.

It is not about Northern Nigeria.

Britain the owner of this slave camp don't want us to decide our destiny.

We are lining up to be called Nigeria Without understanding what it means. -Tinubu.

The same way they use military to invade Aba, Use 50 billion to SILLENT Niger Delta leaders...

same way they would crush Restructuring and those singng it.

like I said Nigeria is a slave camp... Biafra is our last hope. not just for Igbos or Nigeria but for the whole Africa.
I understand your argument and I have the same opinion up until you said biafra is our only hope for the whole Africa.

I tell people that the world isn't a fair place, nobody plays fair, including the US and UK. Let's try and carve out an inch for ourselves and our family.
Biafra came about as a result of Yakubu Gowon relegating on the Aburi Accord agreement if not Ojukwu's initial plan wasn't secession.

There will still be oppression and minorities in the said biafra and there will still be international alliances and at the end the poor suffers while the elites enjoy. In Imo state an Mbaise man can't be their governor and they still practice "the Osu tradition". An Nsukka woman can't comfortably marry an owerri man without family and community prejudice.

The problem we have is man's inhumanity to man that's all.
CelebritiesRe: Ducan Mighty Uses A Heartbreak Picture To Teach Men Who Value Wife Than Mum by brainpower(m): 9:45am On Sep 27, 2017
The issue of Wives and mother in-laws is an ancient one.

It is unique to every man, sometimes the mother was a bad mom and sometimes the wife is a bad wife.

Their roles are separate.

Hope runs eternal.

A lot of people would have killed themselves if they were in this guy's shoes.
