When you check this man's profile you will find it difficult to call his assertion stupid but that's actually what it is. Conspiracy theory from a well known doctor? That's really bad and to add that he's a Nigerian. He obviously supports Clinton but he should be making up his mind for a possible Trump presidency. I have never been to the USA and I can't vote but if all the news about Clinton being shady and corrupt are true, then I don't still know why Americans are supporting her. |
This isn't even about Christianity, addiction or obsession to anything including money is bad without any religious connotation. Being obsessed with money will make you lose reasoning and not think deeply before making any investment just because money is mentioned. |
If you have read "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, you'll not be surprised by what we are experiencing today. The more you look the less you see in this country. But just like Shehu sani warned, Buhari's government is in the second stage of four stages that people use as a criteria to remove a leader. Which is warning stage. I hope things get better for the sake of the country. |
ebuclassic18:What makes you think I like Olajumoke's change? I have never commented about her story through out the time she was trending. I hope that wherever she is, she's doing well. Just an acknowledgment from Mark is worth more than all the hip hop brands to me. |
Who "classic man help"? Depends on your aspirations. If you want to be like wizkid then go for Jidenna. Me I'll go for Mark without even thinking about it. Even wizkid himself will go for mark sef. Seun will go for mark. Buhari will go for mark. The reason is cos mark has a lot to offer. Mark is one of the most influential men in the world but Jidenna can't even influence R and B music self. Lol. See Jidenna with plenty bodyguards while mark the 7th richest man in the world walks the street alone. No hating sha. |
This really shows that there's confusion in the presidency on how to handle the economy. Those that know what to do are just mocking him by telling him what to do in the media yet do not want to go to him privately for discussion. Yet he won't go to them cos of pride or their association with GEJ. The other day Garba Shehu told us that the president loves cartoons and rather than getting the message there, he ends up laughing himself to sleep till the next day. Now it is their official handle quoting GEJ and not for bad this time but for good just to reduce the criticisms of GEJ's supporters. But it's too little too late, cos they made us believe that nothing good can come from him. |
After more than two weeks you are now speaking out. I respect this man, cos for long he's been popular trying to fill the shoes of Gani. But our Nigerian politicians are very deadly and cunning and they know how to change a man. At times his statements and actions makes me believe what people say that he's been bought over and only speaks if he doesn't get his payment. What if they wanted to kill them, by now they would have been dead and you are just coming out to say this. May God help us in this country. |
This guy's story is really interesting, especially after separating from those that made him popular. I like his courage cos very few people can make the decision he made. It seems he has a plan for himself and though they made him popular he felt they were slowing him down or trying to use him. I wish him goodluck in his endevours and hope he has big plans for himself other than this. This may sustain him for now but not on a long run. |
I don't really blame these private schools for some of their rules. Even though know that as adults these rules aren't right, they are left with no choice we abuse most of these things in this country and without forcefully taking some of these privileges away from students their school ratings won't increase. Not that they aren't abused outside the country too, but over there, they have managed to increase their ratings without stopping these things. It can't be just coincidence that the schools that have these rules are rated as the best Private universities e.g. Covenant. While igbinedion that has been there before all of them is still struggling to cope in ratings. This is not to undermine any school, but to state facts. For those that will site public universities, know that the rate of cultism and various vices are very high there. And I actually graduated from a public university so I know what I'm saying. |
It's a pity. But how can you paint and beautify the exterior of a building when the interior isn't even plastered? I hope this isn't a project by one of their political representatives? because that's how some of them do. |
The derenle guy didn't even say anything bad about the pseudo-white guy. Something tells me they have met more than once and something further tells me there may be a form of intimacy between them. |

She's Beautiful. Wish them more years ahead. |
"Blessed art thou amongst women. |
Yet we are struggling to go to Mars when we should be going to Jupiter. But na stage by stage. Bucket list: I must go to Jupiter. |
If this news is true, then we should pray for his safe return. We don't have to wish him death just cos he isn't in the same political party with some people. |
I think this group have tried their best even though most of them started out of hatred for Jonathan. But right now, the Sheriff in town doesn't care much about the girls. He has established enough peace in Borno to start Oil exploration so nothing else matters. Aso rock is more concerned with the 2019 election. If not I don't see how their reply to Ezekwesili concerning the immigration should be "she should contest for the president". If after more than a year, they still blame GEJ, then they aren't serious to work. BBOG have refused to ask the right questions like, what's Shettima's role in all this? |
I hate Nigeria's way of playing politics. What's wrong with resigning if you can't improve your state as promised? Anybody that wants to be a farmer should resign. Now they will sit at home for 4days out of 7days doing nothing just cos your wife or concubine made you promise her that you'll make such an absurd decision or whatever reason you have doing so. That's how PMB wants to suspend or laws just to get what he wants. Yet these laws are what brought him to power. There is something fundamentally wrong with this country. |
I don't think anyone suggestion Amaechi or El Rufai especially El Rufai is sane. No sane person will even suggest this. So it's either we don't learn in this country or some people were born with the spirit of stupidity. Recycling leaders has never helped Nigeria. El Rufai is a bigot or atleast his tweets and comments are. After insulting Buhari, he went ahead to support him cos it suits him. Amaechi is a man that believes he's the best thing to happen to South South people especially the ikwerres. Anyway if Buhari can be president, then anyone can be president. |
Nairaland! Everyday I read comments here it makes realize how bad Nigeria is getting in terms of our so called "unity" or one Nigeria. Our youths come here to pour their anger with meaningless comments. Some people have decided never to be objective as long as it has to do with other tribes apart from theirs. When this news broke, people turned it to political party war and tribal war, when they should be more concerned about people's human rights. I wish there was a way those that run this forum can curtail these things other than banning someone. Even the banning at times, believe, is done out of prejudice. The NA should try and be more professional. I lost hope in them after the Buratai Dubai property saga not to talk of the countless human rights abuse all over the streets of Nigeria. God help us. |
I believe Dele may help him but might not be the way the guy expects. He might be grilled by Dele before he gets what he wants. |
It's quite heartbreaking that nobody is saying anything about the fact that the athletes are sponsoring themselves to this event. Funny enough, when they win medals and come back, they will be hosted to a "presidential dinner" and PMB's media house will make it look like it's his victory. We have a sports minister that's always forming agile and up to date and yet his behaviour towards this Olympics is very disappointing. If it is to wear beret and meet with some cult boys in the name of dialogue with militants, he will carry first. This is the first time since I was born that the government is nonchalant about an even as big as olympics. |
Though people will call my comment hating but still I'll say it. We know her wealth came when the oil well was given back to her and so far we have not heard or seen any major enterprise or investment she's done to prove that she's actually a "business mogul". It's either she doesn't have good business minds around her or she's keeping it quiet. Either way, I wish her goodluck and hope she does something good with the money she's getting now. My reason for this is, what if the oil well is taken from her now and awarded to someone else. Has she invested enough to make sure it doesn't affect her badly in her finances? Based on stories we have heard, seems all she did to get the oil well was knowing IBB's wife. |
I expect more on this story in the coming days. Hope AMCON isn't doing initial gra gra. Just to form busy? |
Nigeria! During Abacha's regime a lot of people supported him till death so I'm not surprised that even with all the bad decisions Buhari has been making probably out of insecurity and fear because of his 1985 experience, people still support him like robots. Let's wait till 2018, when he comes back to beg for the vote of those people he's neglecting and we'll actually see if "competence" and "trusted people" and saying Sai Baba like a robot will convince some aggrieved people that supported him in 2015 to support him again 2019. But for now, let's keep the insults and counter-insults coming. |
I think it will be in the interest of Nigeria for Saraki to remain there or someone that isn't loyal to Buhari or worships him to take over. We need to keep the executive on their toes. But you partisan lots here won't see this. You are all insulting each other because of rice or just plain pride of not being called names. The national assembly is too big for the executive to control. |
Get someone to flush the well with a machine. It must have entered the well or better still check if it's close to a soakaway. |
If it were two years ago, tomorrow being Monday would have been declared public holiday by all the southwest states. They politicized the june12 struggle when they were in opposition and now that they are in charge, no more public holiday. And yet we keep crying "one Nigeria" |
I have never supported people who say others should mind their own business but I'll make an exception here. My dear advicer, mind your business. Let her be happy if that's what makes her happy. We are too judgmental in Nigeria and believe people should behave somehow or not behave somehow. Obviously she's happy with the guy, so let her be. Anyway I font blame you, it's Still these stupid celebs that will still come here to wash their dirty linens. Tiwa's case came up, we believed everything she said about her hubby but we refused to believe what he said about her because she's Tiwa. |
It either they lied to you or that was a bad day or you are just exaggerating if not I am very sure they make more money. In a sunny day maybe around a stadium or rally, it doesn't take them up to 15minutes to sell 20sachets. People rush their water, the business is like every other one, it has a particular period they sell well. And about giving to them, haven't you seen a pure seller that ran away with people's change? Most of them are criminals that just use that to cover up. What do they do at night? I am not saying there are no good ones but we should stop making people feel bad cos they didn't leave their change with sellers. |
What I like most about him and what he's doing now is how he has taken time to do what he likes and enjoy himself at his old age. A lot of men his age, worry so much that they forget to enjoy their senior years. And he's taking care of himself healthwise. |
I thought he's based in the UK? Anyway, if this is true then it's the right move. But I know bloggers will definitely read meanings into it. Na their job |
