Computers › Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by BrainyPaul: 12:40am On Jul 16, 2023 |
Hello guys. Please i need help concerning this. So i just got this HP computer (I don't really know much about computer). I notice the name of the administrator is Dell, even though it's on an HP laptop. It got me worried and a friend told me it's so because a Dell SSD is used on the laptop (which he said it's not a problem since it works fine on it). I really don't know if my friend is right or not. The problem now is that it just started having the issue i attached to this message. Usually it goes off and says Automatic repair bla bla and gets stuck. And then after some trial of rebooting the computer will come back on, and then system restores. I really don't care because i really haven't put files it. However, after that, it repeats the same process again and again after some days of usage. Please help why does this happen and how possibly can it be fixed? Is it something that isn't a big deal? I'm really worried.

Romance › Re: MY Boyfriend Almost Got SCAMMED. See How!! by BrainyPaul: 7:47pm On May 24, 2023 |
Anuoluwapo23: So guys, my boyfriend and I got a gift card from one of his friends in the UK as a birthday girl and then he decided to go trade it for naira since he needed the cash and his friend also sent it to me too.
Anyways to cut the story short, he called me telling me about wanting to trade the gift card with someone on Whatsapp and i was like how? Apparently, the person he was chatting with asked him to send the screenshot of the gift card image blablabla.
I did my research and asked around and then someone told me about one platform like that called Grip, toooor, I went there and signed up and then we were able to get the naira of what I traded, and Guess what? That scammer's rate is even very low compared to what GRIP traded for me!
Omoo they even gave me a cashback of 5k for trading with them for the first time. I am glad my baby didn’t get scammed because the gift card is worth over 100k. Imagine this current situation.
Omooo have you guys traded gift cards on Grip before?? Let me know abeg. Good to see you were not scammed, I had same experience with them, they are very reliable and fast. Love them for that. |

Hello brother, please how can i get to the Engineer that fixed your phone? I also have the same problem t4tharyo: Bro I will just advised you to prepare for the worst. This is actually my very first redmi phone, I have enjoyed everything until this deadboot thing started. Truth be told it's been a very bad experience and I honestly doubt if I can use any of redmi phones again. I bought my phone from Slot around Feb, I experienced the deadboot issue aug when I updated to 12.0.16. After updating the phone refused to come up again. I was advised to take it to the service center since it's still under warranty. Getting there the attendant told me it will use 3-5 working days if it's software problem or 14-17 working days if it's hardware related and all my data will be wiped off. While I was trying to decide on what to do, I saw someone who came with the same problem and he said this is the second time his bringing the phone back to them with the same issue. He said tho they fixed it initially but the problem reoccurred after few days. At that point I had to take my faith into my own hands by patronising phone engineers in my area.(Although it will void the warranty but I don't mind). The engineer told me am like the 13th person that has brought the phone with the same problem. He fixed it withing hrs without me loosing any of my data's. But the strong warning he gave me is never to allow the phone go off for any reasons, just like he said I have been managing the phone and it's problem ever since then with the hope of finding a lasting solution to it. Even the recent update for 12 .0.17 showed up on my phone, but the engineer advised me to ignore it Cox he can't guarantee if the phone will come up after rebooting from the update. So sad Redmi could not find a lasting solution to this problem after major complains from most of its GLOBAL versions. |

genius43: I can get you a link to manually download. Use a download manager OTA From 11.0.11.0 - 12.0.1
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.1.0.QJWMIXM/miui-blockota-curtana_global-V11.0.11.0.QJWMIXM-V12.0.1.0.QJWMIXM-baa3f3fd11-10.0.zip
How to manually update..
Go to Settings > About phone > System update.
If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file
That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins
Data should be on during the decryption process Thanks once again bro. I've just updated it. But pls, i mistakenly clicked on download last update package and since then, my network speed been reading like I'm downloading, whereas, nothing is downloading. I've spent up to 2GB data on this, shit keeps reading. Check my network speed
