SARS and the NPF in general are beyond reform.

The centralized police must be disbanded in place of local policing.

I am against State police as it also domesticates same powers to the governors who will definitely abuse their powers even far worse than the president.

What we need is grassroot policing by elected Sherrifs who can either be removed via recall or voted out.

It is that time the police will be answerable to the people that elected and fund them.

But you must realise something that the global BLM ANTIFA riots against the Police is not in tandem with the End SARS movement.

ANTIFA and BLM are rioting against the system I am proposing here and in it's place a more centralized Chekist like Powerful Police State.

Prior to 1966 coup, the Police was a very professional outfit.

The Police E-Branch (espionage unit) warned the Tafa Belewa govt of both the Awo coup plot attempt and that of Nzeagwu led coup

The military guys purged the police of many of her constitutional roles and even sacked professional officers and replaced them with useless mediicres.

The military did more harm than you can imagine.

A young man identified as Demola on Twitter surprised protesters during the #EndSARS at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos by proposing to the love of his life in the heat of the protests.

The dramatic act lightened up the mood of protesters as some were seen smiling, others taking pictures of them with their phones while his friends cheered.

He took to his Twitter handle to announce the acceptance of his proposal by his girlfriend in a post which has since gone viral with over 6k retweets and over 10k likes at the time of writing this post.

Twitter users reacted to the post by tagging it as a necessary humour in the heat of the protest, others dismissed it as a stunt and some others tapping into his success story.
