I think movies lasts for about 1 hour to 2 and half hours. What type of continuity and character development are you interested in? A fast paced one in a movie, or the slow build up in television series e.g The Night Of??
I think I was very clear in my earlier post. movies in general suffers from continuity and character development because of it's limited time span. everything is a rush job and as such the plot and subplot suffers. it's very unsatisfying to someone that has grown to expect more from mere moving pictures and dialogue.

movie franchising(one story broken into several parts and subplots) noticeably deviates from the norm in the sense that it has continuity but then, movie franchises are extremely rare and not a common occurrence in hollywood.

however, tv series whether it's a slow-burn, fast paced, procedural or serialized, all have two things in common.. continuity & character development. nothing beats that.

Would there b a season 2? Cause of how it ended. And ll the season 2 continue the same story of season 1? All in all its a tight show. But how it ended wasn't convincing. That's why I asked those questions.
there's a possibility of season 2 as the british original which this miniseries is based on has season 1&2. but if renewed, the season 2 would focus on another story. the season one is done and dusted.

Were you drunk when you watched, that is the worst comedy show ever.
actually I found it very funny. but not everyone would..the humour is of the dry variety. deadpan humour.

The Season Finale of " The Night Of " tho... Worst finale ever, i was so disappointed.
I respectfully disagree. it's the justice system we're talking about here. there will always be doubt, doesn't matter who's guilty or not. I think they want you to draw up your own conclusions. i already did..it's hale. reasons: violent tendencies and being at the scene of the crime in the night of the gruesome deed.

but., we still dont know who did it, still alot of loose ends
sure we do. I'd bet my right arm it's ray hale(Andrea's boyfriend). he's known to be prone to violence and besides a cctv footage put him at the scene of the crime in the night of the gruesome deed.

anyways if renewed, the 2nd season would focus on different characters and story.

the first season of the night of has come and gone and 99% of what I predicted came to pass.

naz flipped the script on his lawyer with the help of freddie hoping for a mistrial but that move came to nought. Anyways, new evidence came to light and the case was blown wide open. naz became a free man as a result.

Mcnaulty is annoying.. grin

My favorite characters are Avon, Dee, stringer, Wee-Bay, Marlo, Omar, frank sobatoka, chris, that kid that steals cars, keema, bodie, pres and others i can't remember.. Jeez, i miss this show!!!
yea, mcnaulty can be quite irritating at times but the guy's total disregard of authority is what I love about him the most.

I love most of the characters but the ones that left the most impression were stringer bell(I was shocked when I googled him back then and realize that he's british, had the same reaction on mcnaulty), bodie(the guy that played this part has a face that never gets old. when he starred in oz, he looked exactly the same, very youngish..teen-like. fast foward to several year later in "the night of" and he is still youngish looking..what da heck?! I think he may be a vampire!), omar little( this guy is epic. had the best quote of the show. "when you come at the king, you best not miss!" he currently stars as freddie in "the night of" ), marlo, chris, avon, cutter, lester, kima, cedric and of course, mcnaulty. oh I forgot to mention bubbles.. oh and that corrupt politician that's always stressing his sheeeeeeeeee-it! grin

there's no show like the wire, honestly. it's the only show that I have seen that tells a story from every angle. from the cops perspective, from the gangbanger's, from the politician's, from the dock workers, from the homeless people's, etc.

Seriously bro, i have handled the s5 at least for 2 days and i have d g3 sitting here and i can tell u after te heart monitor and finger print scanner, and apart from the snapier exynos version, basic function and beauty goes to the G3. Best screen quality of its time camera with OIS. Pls bro, cut cap for G3 and throw sammy fanboyism out the window
I have dealt with g3 fanboyism with collegues and friends so many times that I have grown tired of repeating myself. you know what? to each his own. I know from personal experience that the s5 is the better device when it comes to screen resolution, optimization, processor response, hard multitasking, battery, and foremost, versatility. the g3 has a qhd that looks dull in comparison to s5 fhd super amoled. the camera is nothing to write home about, the only plus being that it's very good to shoot videos cos of this motion thingy it comes with. the g3 lags a lot too and the battery drains like water in a basket cos of the power tasking qhd resolution. the only places that g3 has a clear advantage over the s5 were the exterior(very sleek and visually stunning) & the bigger ram(3gb).

*throws away mic*

not trying to start a sammy vs lg war o but why did u say s5 is better than G3 cos apart from the health sensor i see nothing good in s5
eeyah. you haven't handled an s5 before, have you? else you wouldn't have said such. anyway go to my profile then visit the s5 vs g3 vs z2 thread and you'd understand where I'm coming from.

I don't know about y'all but that plan has never given me any problem since I started using it. it works like clock work . the problem is from either sim or location. maybe the less airtel internet reception you have, the more probability the plan won't go through.

btw those of you that called airtel scam network just because of #50 no get shame o. bunch of ingrates. it's not as if there are better more affordable options in etisalat, your precious mtn and glo.
