And the funny thing is that you have been ridiculing this TV show and it's viewers for such a long time that whenever someone drops a positive thought about GOT, you're quickly snapping his/her heels. The same house of Cards that you venerate didn't suit my taste, I couldn't even finish the season 1 but you don't see me disparaging your taste in TV shows whenever you mention it because I realized that it's your opinion even though you try to force it on anyone that says otherwise.



There are TV shows that are so unique that you can barely find another to replace it even years after its end. So there's absolutely nothing wrong in someone calling GOT the best TV series ever at least until he/she sees a show better than it. The fact that you decided not to call HOC your best show ever has nothing to do with anything.

everyone is entitled to their opinion. every opinion counts and like taste it's more subjective than objective.

what I have learnt from gracing a lot of discussion forums is that every fan is antagonistic in one form or another. there are the confrontational types that will attack anyone that didn't agree with them, they are the ones that try to impose their own opinion on others, so in that sense they are very opinionated, they don't have a lot of supporters too cos no one likes a loud mouth. but they ain't the real dangerous ones..being loud doesn't make one dangerous. nope the real dangerous ones are the passive aggressors. you can't argue or reason with them cos their minds are already made up. they are deliberately not very assertive and as a result invites a lot of sympathy to their cause. in forums they barely talk or engage in hot debate. they don't need to as sympathizers line up to do it for them. so at the end of the day, they are the real aggressors that fights by proxy.


in this scenerio byke byke is the loud mouth, csamii the passive aggressor and you, csamii sympathizer and proxy. byke byke is not really arguing with you, nope he's actually arguing with csamii!

it's not a crime to have an opinion. I see something I don't like I put it on blast, likewise I see something that appeals to me I let loose with praises. like hyzicbond said earlier Tv shows have gone beyond merely seating on couch and just looking. you gotta be able to have an opinion bruv. some folks are making loads of money on metacritic and rotten tomatoes being professional television and movie critics...this is 21st century, hello.

well for me i prefer GOT to vikings, i don't really feel the latter maybe because i've read a lot about Scadivanians and i felt they are barbarians. As for marcopolo it's a big no for me...

well different strokes for different folks. I think got is helped by the popularity of the books, cast, high budget and of course the production company which is the best of the best when it comes to quality drama, hbo. but the content...meh. it stopped been fun after season 4. got ended for me when joffrey died and tyrion murdered his dad. tyrion stopped giving epics quotes after season 4. fans also stopped calling him "the imp". as for fight scenes the last epic sword fight in the series occurred between that sand guy and mountain. since then got has become a blur.

vikings may not have much in the way of budget and well known cast but it more than make up for it in sheer talent and intelligent writing. every episode from season 1 to the current season is gold.

I'm with you on marco polo. I tried but I couldn't get into it..it just didn't appeal to me.

[s]I follow daredevil and Yes it's a very good show, but it has shown over time tv networks handling the adaptation determines what kind of audience it's made for, DD is dark and gritty, little or no humor, Jessica Jones did same, not to everyone likeness, CW cater for young adults or late teens, it's quite glaring why it looks like it's a waste of time(Arrow Is), but flash on the other hand cross through many age group, it's crossover with supergirl had a good rating bump for Supergirl..

Overall Flash did had a strong Season 2, and stop with the CGI, CW still run one of the cheapest CGI effect across all networks, which makes effects not that great as compared to dem HBO and the likes.[/s]

have you watched daredevil? now that's a comic book adaptation. it actually have talented cast and guests. the flash and arrow are anything but. too many cgi, too many lame dialogue, huge plotholes, bad acting and even worse directing. the comics are way better. my personal opinion tho.
