Politics / Re: Gov Fashola Has Lied Against Me & Its Time To Address His Repeated Blunder - Jk by BraveAfrican(m): 10:42am On Feb 24, 2015
In my humble opinion, I think Fashola's recent spite of rants during this political era is second only to that of Gov. Fayose. The only benefit he enjoys is the respect he's earned from Nigerians from all walks of life as a performing governor in some sense of it & a SAN....but asides this, he's been the source of some real thrashy talks mostly being very baseless accusations vaguely aimed at discrediting the opposition. Fashola is an intelligent man I respect a lot but he should pipe-down on the blabbings...I regard him in a light way above such petty talks.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo’s Exit From PDP Has Killed The Party – Kwankwaso by BraveAfrican(m): 9:48am On Feb 24, 2015
There is something still baffling me about these set of politicians in Nigeria & even the electorates...are they just after the thrashing or fall of the name/party "PDP" or they have suddenly experienced a change of person & ideology overnight? What is obtainable in Nigerian politics right now is that once you cross-carpet from the PDP to the APC, no matter who you are, you are now a HERO & SAINT. Its we, the electorates I pity because at the end of the day, the PDP "might" fall and everyone under its name jumps ship to the APC --- then the same set of people act the same movie for us again; but at least we can enjoy a change of movie title from "PDP" to "APC". If the same "rogue" governor Fayose joins the APC tomorrow, there'll be an explanation to justify his previous condemnable actions and he'll hear the words-- "Son, thy many sins are forgiven thee". THINK!!!

I think with so many episodes of the propagandas we have been made to watch, listen to and read during the course of this political era, anyone who takes some of all these overly dramatic stories serious anymore would be a truly gullible person to the core. People just wake-up from their beds, think of a new dramatic scenairo that could fit into the on-going political soap opera and quickly publish their scripts to make headlines and attain "supposed" relevance. NIGERIA is a BIG country...the elections around the corner has brought every activity in the nation under the watching eyes of the world - no one, not even GEJ as C-in-C can boast of total secrecy to any of his activities anymore with moles on both sides of the divide (APC & PDP), so for someone to say something as grevious as this is being planned is outrightly RIDICULOUS but I must give it to the author; it was a nice episode in the soap. *grins*

Politics / Re: Boko Haram: Generals Lead Battle As Effort To Capture Shekau Heightens..Picture by BraveAfrican(m): 11:05pm On Feb 23, 2015
Better Late Than Never...we should commend the actions being taken to end this menace (BokoHaram) even though its obviously coming late with obvious politically-motivated reasons behind it. The damage/havoc dished out to the sect by the Nigerian army & their counterparts from neighbouring countries will have far reaching effects to silence their activities regardless of who wins the presidential elections. I'm pretty sure even GMB himself will be delighted to tackle a more weakened BH sect "IF" he eventually wins the elections. The bottom-line is that its a win-win scenario for residents of the North-East because wether the sect is being battered for the right reasons/at the right time or NOT, their safety is being reassured again either ways. Let's be human enough to see these regardless of our political views.

Its really amusing & fascinating that more than half of the most prominent APC members defected from the PDP because they were unable to secure their primary tickets on the later's platform. Anyone who is aggrieved or fails in the PDP simply jumps ship & starts chanting CHANGE. The part that baffles me the most is with the "change-motivated" electorates, no matter your political antecedents or history, provided you are now under the APC, you are "born again" & old things are passed away; even someone like our very own PATRICIA ETEH now chants "CHANGE". Are we truly that gullible as Nigerians

Politics / Re: Occupy Nigeria On The Move by BraveAfrican(m): 9:22pm On Feb 07, 2015
Op et al, you better just keep your calm and don't waste your time and effort on something futile....if INEC eventually postpones the election on grounds of security then trust me no amount of protest can reverse such decision because the issue of security during elections supercides all even if those security issues might be politically motivated. The BEST you can do is simple......you have made your choice of candidate, fine --- stick with that and vote your choice whenever the polls are shifted to. Any protests you are decieved or carjoled into joining is only endangering your personal lives and safety. Remember, they can only postpone the polls, not change your choice of candidate......moreover, May 29th handover date is sacrosant! #HakunaMatata

APC's manifestoes are what every Nigerian dreams of....something close to the ideal life but we live in the REAL WORLD were purported figures, wishes & plans do not materialise without matching and realistic actions/resources. My view on the 2015 Presidential polls is better illustrated in the link below::

ChinemeOkpan:

This President is just clueless. He cannot even get his figures right.

How can you claim to have spent more than the budget of the project? A PhD holder?

Dr Jonathan swore that the project will be completed by 2015 (this year)

Now he claims that the project will take another 48 months= 4 years. If we factor in usual project delays and the Nigerian factor, it will take another 8-9 years. The PDP will repeat this same line in 2019 if they are voted in just to emotionally bribe the Igbos.

This administration does not intend completing this project until kingdom come.

Vote for change.

Even a "R-E-T-A-R-D" knows that's definitely a "typo" error....hate the man (GEJ), its your opinion but please, don't blot out your due sense of reasoning. Thanks!

barcanista:
Is Jonathan threatening Nigerians and INEC? What is his business other than to provide security? Every registered voter should go take their PVC from their respective ward offices, what else should INEC do? Jonathan should ensure that security is provided for ALL unlike what happened in 2011 where electoral staffs and some Nigerians were left to die by the hands of bastards and enemies of the state. Jonathan should live up to his responsibility as the President, he should allow INEC do their job and support the PVC drive through enlightenment. The President should stop threatening Nigerians with violence
Sometimes after reading some people's assesment on an issue, one is forced to wonder how they reason. GEJ is trying to advocate that no Nigerian should be disenfranchised in the upcoming polls & some dis-illusioned fellow is reading another meaning to it saying his duty is to provide security. He did this in the Ekiti polls and they said he sent security personelles to intimidate because the PDP won, he did the same in the Osun polls but they kept quiet because APC won. How exactly can you satisfy people. I'm usually trying to be neutral on GEJ/GMB issues but this is by far the DUMBEST and most UNREASONABLY BIASED comment I have seen on social media in a long while; I could not help but quote you. Hate the man(GEJ), its your choice but please, THINK PROPERLY before commenting. Peace!
