I don't know the robbery ou are talking about but that man is whom I saw at Area F. I saw him with three complainants whom he had allegedly defrauded. His matter was initially handled at the Division. There is no point doubting it.

Study law, find a good firm for your pupillage but learn as much as you can within a short time and be smart about it. Do not bother about pay because if you are good you will find your own clients who will pay your bills too. Most of it all be prayerful and you will be looking for those to employ soonest. I have been there and I can tell you it works for me and every serious-minderd lawyers out there.
RomanceRead Before You Marry That Love Of Your Life by BrBakreez(op): 8:57pm On Jul 20, 2016
A woman who despise you in rags does not deserve you in riches

A new lady you know who has so much disdain for poor people does not deserve your attention because her love for you is simply exchanged for your money

A woman whose mother does not respect his father is prone to disrespecting particularly if she approves the ways of her mother

Of all things we should love most in any woman I believe beauty should not be given utmost priority since it would soon fade away

Any man who marries solely for beauty would realise on his wedding day that another beautiful woman is just few metres around the corner

Do not manage what you know will give you headache in marriage in the name of love

Of all things your woman deserves love and respect should be your major priority

Do not disrespect your woman and expect to have her respect

A man who raises his hand against his woman automatically loses respect before her

Love and respect are interwoven, you cannot love a woman yet disrespect her while you cannot disrespect a woman and claim you love her

Things might go awful sometimes in relationship but what keeps it going is the thought of when things go awesome

As for you ladies always remember that not all that glitters is gold

Remember whether you like it or not you will grow old

Let your female children be proud to call you their mentors

Life is not about exploring all sectors

Jobs/VacanciesRe: JOYS OF 2.2 Graduates by BrBakreez(op): 10:11pm On Jul 17, 2016
Desdemona:
You couldn't have said it any better. All I see in this post is envy and subtle consolation. I'm sure the OP tried really hard to graduate with a 2:1. No biggie if you couldn't make it; after all, a 2:2 grade doesn't make one less of a person. There are many First Class individuals who are geniuses in their fields. So stop hating! I met a First Class guy who left a big paying job to pursue his dream of being a lecturer with smaller pay (of course!).

So my dear OP, if you think you're doing better than your 2:1 counterparts because of your lesser grade, you're definitely wrong. Anyone can have a drive regardless of what their result says.
Please nobody is hating here sir. All I am saying is do not let your grades in school determine your life and if you have made 2.2 let that further drive you to success since kings build castles from stones thrown at them. I use this thread to motivate and also say one of the reality of life but all of those who felt insulted do not hesitate to throw what they simply think is their punchline without reading between the lines. The truth is we all are entitled to our opinion hence I don't have reason to fight my neighbour for having contrary view on same issue.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: JOYS OF 2.2 Graduates by BrBakreez(op): 6:38am On Jul 17, 2016
The problem with all of those who rush to condemn the thread is because they failed to read between the lines. I will put it straight the Late Gani Fawehinmi is a legal Icon in law who did not had 2.1 in School yet can you tell me how many of his peers with 1st class and 2.1 whose lives are better than the legend of law because their school grades make them smarter? I also know many of my friends with promising future with 2.2 and pass in school and are doing very fine today as lawyers. I am also aware that the owner of CNN is never a graduate yet controls many with outstanding degrees in his organisation. Let us stop hating unnecessarily, I will advise you to google names of outstanding world leaders without degrees, drop outs, never outstanding in class as students in sequence and you will be amazed with what you will see. Can you take your time to be friends of Robert Kiyosaki and I can bet that all of those hating on this thread will never remain the same in their thought. I read his books and it is working for me, I challenge you to get his collections too and appreciate me later. I do not have to tell you my CGPA in school but same is the reason I choose litigation, advocacy and serious soliciting which gave me very fast opportunity to be my own boss and own my own firm at the age of 27 years now. Sit at the other end to hate the thread instead of thinking of how to be better and smarter by being your own boss. I know many lecturers with 1st class and 2.1 who dare not challenge their 2.2 counter parts when they discuss money and that is what am saying. Let me put it straight to you who are still in school please study hard and smart but don't have the mindset of just getting good grades to get a good job because somebody established the organisation you dream to work for. As for those hating on the message without thinking deeply you may continue to remain in the Journey Of the Broke with all your grades because it is obvious many of you won't seize the opportunity of your good grades to raise your own firms where you can employ people which is what many of 2.2 students and graduates do.

Nuges11:
It's becoming a disturbing trend how people talk down on first class and 2:1 graduates just to justify their own lesser grades. What is even more disturbing is the OP's conclusion that 2:1 graduates will end up "at most" as CEOs in companies set up by 2:2 students. Nothing is farther from the truth if you ask me, and I seriously pity undergraduates who would read this and see it as an encouragement to become less aggressive with their studies. As a matter of fact, if this post encourages you at all then you really need to start re-evaluating your life.

Your encouragement as a 2:2 graduate should NOT come from the half-truth that 1st class and 2:1 graduates don't deserve their grades and barely measure up intellectually. They paid their dues, whatever it was. If they end up not successful in life, it is not because they had a first class or 2:1, in fact they might have been worse off with a 2:2. So my dear 2:2 graduates, your drive should be the desire to prove to yourself that you're better than what your grade says about you, not that people with better grades would most likely end up miserable.
You got what am saying though you still misconstrue some of my statement. All I said is simple and straight, no grade in school will determine our grade on life. It is all about commitment and desire to succeed that keep people ahead in real life.

I don't know if I should be saying this but having seen both the "Sorrow of 2:2 graduates" and "Joy of 2:2 graduates" write-ups, I have come to a reasonable conclusion that 2:2 graduates have personal beef with Mr Paragraph. grin grin
Guy you try. Telling me I cannot use paragraph where appropriate is laughable. I am concerned with passing my message which I believe you understand.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: JOYS OF 2.2 Graduates by BrBakreez(op): 2:36pm On Jul 16, 2016
Please do not hate 2.1 students because I am also one of them. I only was let down by the flotsam and jetsam of life as an undergraduate. However I do not let my not having 2.1 deter my Zeal to succeed, hence if you are a student please do all you can to have it but do ensure you put in so much effort you are doing in school the moment you graduate since getting a job after school simply means getting the journey of the broke.
Jobs/VacanciesJOYS OF 2.2 Graduates by BrBakreez(op):
I read a post about pains of 2.2 graduates, the pains we are made to go through due to stigmatisation in the Labour market. Yes, it is true that some of the 2.1 students and graduates are not any better than some of the 2.2 students and graduates. Some students do all they can to graduate with 2.1, had once been there but due to several factors they dropped. Yet that does not make them average or less than average or below average students. After reading the earlier post it was as if the OP was saying my story as an undergraduate. The truth of the matter is that examination is not always the true test of what we really know because our teachers and lecturers always want us to give back to them what we were taught, some of us who try as much to give back but too stubborn to try something different end up with GPs close to 2.1. I do not blow my trumpet here but some 2.1 students and graduates respect and envy some of us who made 2.2 since they know the real stuff we are made of better than our lecturers.
Now back to the topic proper, many of those who have been outstsanding in our world are not always those with 1st class or 2.1 but those 2.2 students and 3rd class that had been written off by our institution. I am a practising lawyer who never failed any exam in my life, I had been an above average student yet still graded with 2.2 but the beauty of the story is that I am forced to show the world I have much more to offer. For long am not an advocate of go to school get good grade to get employed because I do see myself as an employer. I worked for three bosses who can attest that am sound because I was never turned down at any interview, when I served as a corper I was given opportunity to stay back at my PPA but I had my plans. Today I am just 27 years and I have been able to have my own law firm in one of the best areas in Lagos mainland. I look forward to giving jobs to my colleagues and juniors. The truth is that it does not come on a platter of gold but I put in so much than many of my colleagues with paid employment with their 2.1. As at today I have a much more beautiful office than my boss, I also look forward to reducing unemployment in Nigeria and my certificate has not been an impedement to my dream. Little wonder that I also turned down offer on the Island in the only office I eveer applied to right there just to be alone and I have no regret till date. Please note, I turn down briefs, I detest when lawyers come too cheap like those popularly called charge and bail since I know I have a lot to offer.
Conclusively the 2.2 we made in school make us think more of being employers hence we think outsided the box than some of our friends who made 2.1 only to end up CEO at most in companies set up by our 2.2 peers. Do not let your grade determine your life but your life determine your grade. We aint give a damn about school grade but how life itself grade us, we think nothing but our empire. #NextBillionairesinthemaking

CrimeJoy Of A Young Lawyer by BrBakreez(op): 10:56am On Feb 29, 2016
I met a young man in court last year July when I went for my
firm's matter, out of pity I decided to take up his matter on a
pro bono and I have been following the matter diligently. I
realised his charge was bailable and I applied for same
which was granted by the court. Since then none of his
relatives came up to perfect his bail due to the fear of the
court system. All efforts to enlighten the ignorant relatives
proved abortive and I decided to continue the matter on a
pro bono while my client though granted bail was coming
from custody. I usually feel very unhappy about this anytime
I meet him in court but there is little I could do. Everytime I appear in court I kept assuring him that all will be well and
sooner than expected he would be released. I took my time
to visit him in the prison before the last festive period even
though he is not my relative and I discussed with his relative
to do same but they later showed how useless they are. We
kept on with the matter in court and my belief in his
innocence after listening carefully to him kept me going to
court to see the end of his matter even if I have to go on
appeal but today the court followed my line of reasoning
after serious argument amidst series of almost unending
adjournment. I had been waiting to hear that word since last
year and same was just pronounced today that he is not
guilty, thereby discharged and acquitted. I secured his
acquittal and I dedicate same today to Youth Alliance for
Better Nigeria simply because this man I never knew from
adam is a member of my community where I was recently
appointed coordinator of the association in order to preside
over all activities of the association in the entire local
government.

ANOTHER DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAW AND MORALITY IN A
CHURCH IN BENIN

This really got me laughing, a pastor was
arrested on a tip off of members of the community by members of Nigerian police Force
for allegedly burying charm in his church. That got me
laughing as a lawyer, they said he buried a live animal and
performed some ritual therein but still have to laugh
because of questions that came to my mind when Police
said they are still investigating same. Nobody said the pastor
buried a live human and no Police has come out to say they
discovered human part in the said church. Now what would
they charge for? Possession and burying charms in his
church when he is a pastor? Cruelty to animals? Is it illegal to
possess charm in Nigeria? What law says it is illegal? Many
church goers who may not understand how law works may
frown at this but the question is does law work the way
many of us think? We need to separate law from morality, I
can only say what the pastor has done from his religious
perspective is immoral but no more. These are some of the
very controversial criminal cases I love to handle so that we
can mess up the Police and the entire prosecution team with
their witness in an open court. Don't get it twisted, law and
morality are two separate waters that look very much alike
but do not necessarily mix in some situation until law allows
morality to have a passage in its flow.
In a more simpler form, a pastor buried charms within his
church premises, Thank God for exposing him! May he rot in
jail! Why? That is wrong! Why is it wrong? It is very bad to do
that as a pastor? Says who? The bible I read forbids us to
engage in such! Ehn ehn, are you a Nigerian? Yes, do you
understand our criminal law? Yes, even it is wrong in that
law! Can you show me? No! Why do you say it is wrong?
Because I think law does not allow pastor to do such? You
think? Yes, it may be bad to you but to me I do not believe it
is bad since it not wrong in law to do that until you can show
me a law that prohibits same.

I have not been opportuned to travel across the shores of Africa but I know some things are not just right in my dear country Nigeria and many countries in African, Asia and some American Countries. Poor people are made to pay far higher for commodities and services bigger than their values, many of our young unemployed, old and helpless people do not have any welfare packages from their own government, poor people live in conditions where the environment is completely drained and not replenished by their landlords and government, they cannot complain of their pathetic situation because many cannot afford our legal fees since they are cannot even afford to feed their families, corruption and impunity is deeply entrenched that education which is suppose to be a leveler is also being denied in its standard form to the children of the masses. Yes, I have sat down in classes where many Governors, Ministers, Senators and their children were taught, I know many of them are not better off than many poor people I have met in the ghetto, they are not specially made to be better than many suffering hands I have shake in the past but many of these people use the same education we both acquire to subdue the masses from enjoying what should not be a privilege. I have seen many sleeping under bridges because they cannot afford decent accommodation, I have seen many sleeping at night without food nor sure of where to find the next meal, I have seen many languish in prison simply because they are finding means to the daily bread through legitimate means, I have seen that many young lawyers also live below poverty lines so that they cannot challenge the authorities of their principals yet caged in a situation that they can hardly think of how to better their own welfare. I have seen so much of injustice that the government alone would not solve but will require a collective effort of everyone of us. What keeps giving me nightmare daily is how our youths are following the paths of our parents who had been smiling and dancing while suffering yet go to churches and mosques to pray to God to bring an end to our hardship. I have seen how the pastors and Imams keep telling us to be patient and prayerful because with time things will get better. I have seen how many Ministers of God will not reject bags of cash from corrupt politicians and civil servants, I have seen how they build universities which the members of their church and mosques cannot afford while many of them went to school vide free education and different scholarships, I have seen how they tell us money is the root of all evil yet they cannot stop craving for materials, I have seen that we still live in the days which western nations have surpassed that I have to reckon with the fact that ours is truly a developing third world nation, we might not change our nomenclature if our youths do not change their mentality and start holding accountable our leaders without fear or favour. I am not preaching violence as that will defeat the object of my concern but we must march out any person in government who is anti people, now is the time we must tell them where ultimate power belong. We cannot afford to die in silence.

Honey... you were an aristo choper. any lady that goes out with a man knowing he is still married to his wife is a runs girl. God gave you an opportunity to leave when he said he reconciled with his wife. But no, you did not. You still stayed. Change your ways honey... and the third wife? i see her at your door step already...

Op BEWARE of this person, she would have chosen to be more than an aristo if she had been in your shoes! Do not take her serious because I do not think she deserves to be taken serious. She must have been one of those ladies who would prefer to sleep with another man's wife for money but not ready to be a second wife. Do the plus and minus to properly place her where she is.

FYI. There is no way the life of a second wife will be better than the life of a single happy woman... don't deceive yourself with the material things at your disposal. If you were a bit patient, you wouldn't have been in this mess. We are SINGLE but we are HAPPY.
A single lady seriously searching for a husband cannot be as happy as a second wife who is very comfortable in her home. You will never know until this lady accept being a third wife to your hubby.

Now my candid advise madam, there is nothing wrong in being a second wife. I know many so called monogamists with concubines and children outside wedlock, the sad part of the story is that most of the parties involved are christians with few muslims. Your husband is a good man from what I can decipher from your write-up all you need do is adjust yourself to meet up with his standard. Covering of hair? That is very small thing if you read the old testament you will see that the bible also encourage same, the mary we see in video how many time does she open her head. Please note ma, stay in your marriage and do not care about what people say because you may never be that lucky again. God has his reason for making you go through all that you had gone through to meet this good man. If you had told us that he maltreats you and also engage in domestic violence I would have say sue his damn ass so that he learns properly. Go girl, you are one of the few happy woman we have and I can bet my whole life that many of the single ladies out here are very jealous. You have no problem as far as am concerned until you create one for yourself.

Conclusively when life gives you a lemon make out a lemonade therein. A king is that person who builds an empire from same stone thrown at him with the intention to ridicule him.
RomanceImportant Notice To All Good Men And Boys by BrBakreez(op): 9:31pm On Dec 21, 2015
Everytime I come online and appear in court that hears criminal matters I see so much of issues of child molestation, unlawful carnal knowledge of a minor, rape and issues of sexual assault matters against good looking and very gentle men that most time I always want to ask what is really happening in our world, later I realised that most of them are mostly set up to settle scores and it is important to begin warning our good men who will never engage in such degrading act or omission yet will be jailed because a lady perjured against them and still get away with it. Many nonsense are happening now in the world of ladies
generally which guys must be damn careful about. It is so
sad that most investigators and prosecutors usually presume most men guilty the
moment there is report of such allegation. Now ladies abuse
the allegation of rape against any man whom they intend to
deal seriously with be it their husband, boy friend, friend
whether casual or otherwise, father, teacher, lecturer, uncle,
boss etc. This usually happens when the women really want
to take a pound of flesh for a deal that had gone bad. Most
time among husbands, boyfriends, friends with benefit the
act is usually consensual but the ladies most time turn out to
use the consensual act against the men such that many good
men are termed rapists and sent behind bars. I am not
saying we do not have rapists nor making case for
dangerous men but I only send a great warning to good men
who may someday meet the wrath of any lady if caution is
not applied in relationship with them. All boys should be
careful so that a good man does not land in jail over issues
that may later stand frivolous.
