If the overfed buffoon who called himself the leader of the government wants to become president, he should resign from the army and join a political party. Ignored the answer and displayed like a fool Nigeria will literally be on fire if they invade Niger Youve also forgotten that this will be likely the first proxy war Nigeria will get into You can't go to another's house on fire to try to save them while your house is on fire |

You all live in a bubble where Nigeria's destruction is like a mad craving.
IPOBic mentality. Literally that's what they said if they don't back down the government some of you are slow as hell. I mean why did they invade the Gambia what makes you think that invading Niger will be anything different? Sanctions also won't bring Niger doen to it's knees due to the fact that it has neighbours up in the north Useless retard |

proeast: Tinubu is unarguably the most self-destruct president in history. It could be due to the highly controversial circumstances through which he emerged as president that makes him so desperate to please the West. Firstly, he removed subsidy and floated the naira. Two policies that are highly detrimental to Nigeria's economy but fervently promoted by the West and its institutions like IMF and WTO. The little credibility he had among Nigerians tanked while he became a darling to the Bretonwood.
As if that wasn't enough, he saw the coup in Niger republic as another opportunity to endear himself even more to the West. Without applying common sense, Tinubu unilaterally rallied others in ECOWAS to give ultimatum to the new military rulers of Niger. Once again, the West, including United States, France and UK cheered him on. The situation in Ukraine couldn't even act as warning why it is dangerous for any allow itself become a tool to the imperialists.
Here are reasons why Tinubu's misadventure in Niger republic is most likely going to be a disaster for him:
1. It is extremely difficult to invade a large desert country and win the locals in warfare; Examples abound, such as Russia against the Mujahideen of Afghanistan. America against Taliban of Afghanistan. America in Somalia. These are superpowers yet they failed miserably, how much more poor nations like Nigeria?
2. The people of Niger republic are behind the military rulers; There is overwhelming support by the masses of Niger in support of their military. So, they are ready to enlist in the army, form human sheilds and even sabotage the invading army.
3. Hausas and Fulanis see Niger as their brothers; similar to point 2 above, the Muslim North of Nigeria is likely to be in solidarity with Niger people and in extension, their military rulers. So, aside seeing a scenario whereby many of them may enlist to fight on the side of Niger against Nigeria and ECOMOG forces, sentiments will also rise against the Yoruba president who waged war against 'brothers'. The sentiments may trickle into our own military and the hunter will eventually become the victim.
4. ECOWAS has been divided into two; in trying to rally other West African countries into waging war against Niger, Tinubu only succeeded in dividing the Subregion. Almost all the sahel nations are now backing the military rulers, including Mali and Burkina Faso. Also, Guinea, a coastal nation is in support of the military rulers. The implications here is that arms will flow easily from Libya and Sudan. Import of goods will also flow from Guinea to Niger republic, thereby rubbishing the so-called ECOWAS sanctions.
5. It's going to be an international war; the military rulers in Niger have embraced Russia. So, it's a matter of time before the Wagner group intervenes as well as military hardware arriving from Russia. So, what happens when the war drags on? Costing Nigeria both in men and resources? Won't Boko Haram & other terrorist groups even seize the opportunity to unleash mayhem? Spot on Tinubu should mind his business If he doesn't want to cause problems for his dear country. The country is already a mess. This should be a word for people thinking that having a stronger military will make you win. Go and check the geographical location and Allies |

HitlerWasRight: That open desert makes Niger a sitting duck for aerial attacks.
The only source of weapons for Niger will come from Libya and it will be from the NATO factional government in Benghazi.
By the way, it isn't going to be a war against Niger but the rogue govt that has zero support from the citizens.
Buhari's statesmanship can be used to isolate the citizens from the rogue junta as they have mad respect for Buhari in Niger.
Nigeria does not need to send troops to Niger to oust the rogue NATO junta in power.
The Touaregs are ready to fight the Niger govt following the brutal clampdown on them when they wanted to declare their own seperate homeland to the north . Qaddafi's ouster was what led to the Touareg insurrection losing steam.
At the end, Niger can be split into three with most of the north and central forming a new seperate country for the Touaregs and the SE corner being shared between Chad and Nigeria leaving only the SW half isolated.
There are ways that we can easily squash the coup junta by simply telling them what we will do if they insist on still remaining in power. Niger coup leader has support from it's citizens |

Puss360: Lol.. go school, you say school na scam.. now you come online to talk rubbish... What is war?? What constitutes two or more countries going to war?? Is there any common issues that both Nigeria and Niger are dragging Do you know what an independent country's Sovereignty means Cameroon that has land and border issues with Nigeria, both countries didn't go to war.. Nigerian and Niger don't even have a common history or colonial masters sef.. so what made you think that Nigeria will go to war... Do you think countries just enter into war like dat?? Economic and military losses will be much so those going to war has something to gain... What will we gain if we go into war with Niger?? Even if coup takes place in Benin Republic, we will just be looking and going to diplomatic meeting upandan, no body will fight any war.. When we had our own Coup, how many countries went to war with us? Didn't we solve over problem our self... Abeg let's face our own country problem, let them face theirs... After all they have closed their border.. no problems, we will continue economic trade with the remaining two land borders and waterways....
Next Case Please.... FOOL First of all Cameroon and Nigeria almost went to war because of the bakassi conflict which was resolved due to a peace treaty Second of all due to the coup in Niger. ECOWAS is literally WARNING against Niger to put back it's president or war will come. Third of all why on earth would other countries want to INVADE Nigeria when it had a strong military back then. How about look back at your comment and reason like a human being |

You people should think before posting nonsense on public fora. Are you slow? It's like you've forgotten that Nigeria is part of ECOWAS and there's an increasing intension between Niger coup and ECOWAS you bloody idiot |
Politics › If Nigeria Were To Declare War On Niger by Brek(op): 9:06am On Jul 31, 2023 |
With increasing tensions between ECOWAS and Niger due to the coup another war may likely to happen. Now let's look at Nigeria a country with over 200000 active troops compared to Nigers 12000 troops Nigeria may likely have a chance to win plus the ECOWAS members. But some of us forget that Nigers geographical location is probably full of sand and may give Nigeria a disadvantage. Also before you say Niger will lose because it's landlocked you should remember it has allies up in the north (who are not members of ECOWAS) |
