Thank God for His mercies. Op, I'll have to find out again what the half of something really means. |
What stops the estate owner from having a sticker on his car, is it that difficult, is it out of place? If he knows the rules then he should abide by it. It doesn't diminish his ownership or control of the estate. |
This is despicable. His parents will reap what they sow not too long from now. |
If you frequently delay passing gas when your body signals the need, you may be putting yourself at risk of a serious medical emergency — intestinal obstruction. |
She well be alright las las. This won't stop her from getting another one. |
In conversations around healing, reconciliation, and justice, one truth often goes unspoken: the burden of forgiveness is frequently placed on the transgressed rather than the transgressor. While forgiveness is undeniably powerful, this imbalance—where the wounded are expected to carry the weight of repair—raises important questions across biblical, psychological, and social justice perspectives. Biblical Perspective Forgiveness is central to Christian teaching. Jesus commands His followers to forgive generously and without limit (Matthew 18:21–22), and the Lord's Prayer ties divine forgiveness to our willingness to forgive others (Matthew 6:12). These teachings often place a spiritual and moral expectation on the person who has been wronged. However, the Bible also insists on repentance. In Luke 17:3–4, Jesus says, "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him." The story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:8 ) highlights how genuine repentance leads to restitution. True biblical reconciliation involves both parties: the transgressed forgiving and the transgressor repenting. Yet in practice, the church often emphasizes forgiveness from the victim more than accountability from the offender. This can shift the emotional and spiritual labor entirely onto the wounded. Psychological Perspective From a mental health standpoint, forgiveness can lead to healing. Letting go of bitterness can ease emotional burdens and contribute to personal peace. However, pressuring someone to forgive prematurely can be deeply harmful. When forgiveness is treated as an obligation, victims may feel invalidated, silenced, or rushed through their healing. The emotional labor of forgiveness—processing pain, releasing anger, finding closure—is substantial. When the offender avoids accountability, the transgressed is left to do all the work. Healthy forgiveness should be voluntary, not coerced. It is most meaningful when the offender acknowledges the harm, expresses remorse, and changes behavior. Without this, forgiveness can become an unfair expectation. Social Justice Perspective In broader societal contexts, this imbalance becomes even more glaring. Survivors of systemic violence, racism, abuse, and historical injustice are often urged to "forgive and move on" before justice has been done. Public calls for forgiveness frequently come before public apologies or meaningful reform. This shifts the burden: the wounded must be gracious, while systems and individuals that caused harm often escape accountability. For example, marginalized communities may be praised for their "resilience and forgiveness" while still living under the weight of unaddressed harm. Restorative justice provides a better model. It emphasizes truth-telling, accountability, and reparations. In this framework, forgiveness is a choice, not a requirement. It follows justice, not replaces it. Conclusion Forgiveness is a gift. It can heal wounds, restore relationships, and liberate the heart. But when forgiveness is demanded from the wounded while the offender avoids accountability, it becomes a burden, not a blessing. Across the biblical, psychological, and social justice landscapes, the message is clear: forgiveness must never excuse injustice or replace repentance. True healing happens when both parties take responsibility—the transgressed for choosing to forgive (in their time), and the transgressor for choosing to change. Forgiveness, then, should be honored as a courageous act—not expected as an automatic response.

Funflipper:My computer won't be able to carry those apps. I use infinite flight on android but you know flying physically is a different experience. |
I love planes and wish to fly one- at least a small one someday. There's this feeling of freedom that comes with flying. |

Beyond the money, Saudi Arabia needs those players in order for them to improve their world image. I think CNN made a special report on this. Apart from football, there are other sports the Saudis are targeting like the lawn tennis, golf etc. Just Google Saudi sportwashing and you will find something interesting. |
What's going on with the commentary on DStv? |
MilesLamar:I need to unlock mine too. Let me know if you're able to unlock yours. |
OP wey you de see fuel buy at 165? E be like say e don favour OP and im family. |
Mariomadiba:Since the OP equated 1 liter of petrol to 1kg of gas, tell us how long 13 liters of petrol would last under similar conditions(full load)? |
What I see here is an erroneous assumption by the OP that 1 liter of PMS equals 1kg of LPG. 1kg of LPG is almost 2 liters in volume. So 1kg of LPG will last almost twice as much as PMS. So OP, the experiences people have with respect to the use of LNG is actually valid. We can research more on this matter. |
HopeSpencer:You're right. |
I'm not sure but I think it's when you have a kinda 2 in 1 degree. eg. Agricultural Economics and Extension. |
