Look at Abia state, before Otti came, the state has been ruled by Igbos, what have they done for Igbo people? Go to Akwete and see how the town is despite have someone that served in the rep for 13 solid years, no federal project in that LGA, just pot holes and fallen tankers That is what I am saying, why then do they hate the Igbos ? richmond500: pointing fingers, this is why we can never unite. U turn blind eyes over what Igbos did and accuse Yorubas, how can a Yoruba man see this and unite with u?
Abeg let me leave u guys, my state right now has an Akwaibom man as governor The question you should be asking is why are the Yorubas not even helping themselves now that they have all the power to themselves to do so? I mean they have the most powerful president in the history of Nigeria who controls the entire security architecture plus the senate and judiciary with their people handling almost all the security outfits, yet they are cannot protect their people neither are the people themselves demanding that they get protected by their brothers in power. Ask yourself Is that how much they hate themselves or they don"t even count their lives important enough as priority? I mean a people who are not even really concerned about their lives as priority even when they have the ability to do so are the same people you want the Igbos to feel concerned about their love or unity? I mean it speaks volume.... and you talked about a new governor or administrator of Rivers state, well the reason that happened is because that is what they are more concerned about both Tinubu and most Yorubas.... and I will tell you why? TRIBAL dominance or supremacyCheck all the threads and comments from most Yorubbas online they are discussing more about that than the killings going on in their place now that they have all the power to themselves in various forms of leadership from presidency down to stop the killings..... |

UltraSolid: Learn to argue logically. You are all disgracing yourselves with your emotional rants and sentimental diatribe. Let us look at facts and be guided by the logic they present to us as educated men should do always.
Tinubu, factually is on the way and closest to being the President to deliver regional autonomy because he has already delivered LG autonomy and the creation of development councils for every region as no other President since 1999 have ever contemplated let alone pushed for.
Yorubas say "ti a ba sun ekun Ka ma riran". I.e even when you are crying, try to see clearly. It is something you Igbos will do well to learn to do instead of blinding yourselves to the fact and yapping sentimentally everywhere.
Such has always landed you in trouble and will continue to forever. It is what precipitated IPOB destruction of the SE troubling your region today leading to many of your people to flee to the SW . I.e the fact not many Igbos could shun emotions and sentiments to see clearly and challenge the lunacy Kanu and others were espousing. UltraSolid: All you Igbos know to do is argue emotionally, sentimentally and hatefully to the extent such has blunted your reasoning capacity, intellect and grasp of reality.
Anybody who knows Nigerian politics will know Tinubu was supportive of what is shown below.
Today, even a kid can see the movement with the achievements of LG Autonomy and development commissions for all regions that previous President refused to countenance.
Keep fooling yourself making inane statement because of hatred of Tinubu. If Tinubu will not deliver regional autonomy, given how he is going already, who will?
Your cowardly Agulu fraud Obi or the business-as-usual Northerners, like Atiku and El Rufai, who feel, due to mental Laziness, the existence of the North is inextricably tied to the retention of 'one Nigeria'?
https://punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/ Mark it here and now, Tinubu will never support regional government or regional autonomy, it is not by throwing insults, you think the Tinubu I know will reduce his power of control to please anybody... Rich4god: I still don't understand why we can't get along with each other. This country is going down by the day and all we are doing is to come online and fight for which tribe is more superior.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AK8vLW8Pw/
Check this video from VDM, Fulani herdsmen are destroying farms, kidnapping, rapixng and kneeling people all over the south and all we do is to shout online. Wtf is wrong with us. Can't we just for once come together and challenge our collective govt to collaborate and put an end to this issue, then later we can continue fight.
Look at Enugu state, vast area of Uzo uwani is now a desert land as the indigenes have abandoned their land. Every where you turn in the south same issue. WHY....
This is getting too much.
It baffles me how we laugh and mock each other when there is an attack on one section, but this week, all the regions in the south and middle belt came under attack and everyone seems to be going about his business. SMH.
I just wish.... The south may never be able to unite because of the Yorubas, look at the whole division they have caused and still causing in the entire south because of tribal supremacy, even when the Igbos tried to fight back Fulanis using ESN they were the first to shout that the Igbos are doing too much, look at all the oppression against the south east and south south by the army and the government they are the ones always in full support... Ask yourself if Tinubu who is their brother is C in C with almost all the security heads are not even bothered about the killings by Fulanis in the south west(let's even leave the other parts of the south for now), yet have you ever seen the Yorubas holding their brothers accountable or calling them out for failing to protect them? These questions alone beg the for the answers as to what exactly are the Yoruba people priority for leadership? What exactly do they really want? what is the purpose of having power that is not helping you? To me their quest for power is just ego, tribal bragging and supremacy... Because one needs to ask what is Tinubu and all their service chief brothers doing with the power they have gotten in regards to their well being? As long as Yorubas are with other part of the south I doubt unity will ever be there |

UltraSolid: No. Our leaders, starting from Mr.President, simply have to fight for regional autonomy so regions can craft their own effective socio-economic and security solutions.
Any regions with leaders covertly or overtly sponsoring ISWAP, Boko Haram, banditry etal can then become worse than Somalia and Afghanistan joined together without their madness engulfing and destroying the whole Nigeria.
It is the only solutions and we better begin demanding for it uncompromisingly before it is too late. The way you guys talk about this regional government, one will think by now Tinubu would have started the process, but let me just tell you the truth, Tinubu will be the last person in Nigeria to support regional government... so just kiss regional government goodbye as long as Tinubu is there.... |

You claim to have 200 Billionaires richer than Lagos in every SE State. If you Igbos have homogeneity of ideas and vision then why is there never consensus action from you guys?
Why can you all not stay in the SE so that rich and poor can join hands to create a geographical space greater than Singapore that will testify to your supremacist rants more than words and braggart nuisance, you constitute yourselves into daily online, will ever achieve ?
You street level rats shout Biafra, yet you are leaving the SE daily for other parts of Nigeria, while your political leaders are the embodiment of 'One Nigeria' adherents.
Can you now not see why no one takes your Biafra noise seriously I.e it lack of "charity begins at home" sincerity and focus. Learn to study a people before you talk about them, Igbos don't leave the south east because it is bad but because it is their nature to explore other places for opportunities, even if the southeast today is better than UAE we will still travel to other places even poorer than the southeast to explore more opportunities, that is why there is a saying that any place(good or bad) you go to and you don't see an Igbo man run away from there, we behave like the Chinese in that aspect, you seeing Chinese men in every country does not mean China is a bad place, so you guys need to stop that stupid narrative, or are you trying to say that Zamfara or Bornu is better than any state in the south east, but you still see Igbos there doing business in their numbers... |

Tomiwasamuel: I do not like football, not that I hate football, but I hate the banter that comes with it because it's clouded by love, hate, bias, etc. There's something about football banter; even though you know what your opponent is saying is true, your love or hate for your club or your opponent's club will never make you listen or agree. Football banter is full of noise that we call facts, but there's no listening or agreement. For football itself, I think it's funny how someone who is well aware of their club's poor status, which is going against a stronger and well-fitted club, will still hope and pray for their club to win and might as well place a bet on the winning. We can call it love, support, dedication, delusion, or faith, as anything can happen in football. I'm not here to talk about football; I'm just trying to relate the football experience to politics and governance, especially in Nigeria. My recent encounter and experience with Nigerians online have got me thinking a lot, and I see it's related to the same experience with football lovers. I have seen people attack each other online because of different political biases or beliefs. It's so bad that even though valid points are being made by either or both parties, such points are regarded as rubbish and baseless. It's more like we feel that anything said by someone who doesn't align with our ideology is not wise and should not be listened to or given audience. This is not only applicable in politics and governance; it also occurs in conversations concerning religion, tribe, language, career, education, and even when we talk about our favorite entertainer or celebrity. I'm not sure if it's only a Nigerian thing or if it's just more rampant in Nigeria. I wouldn't know, as I haven't been outside of Nigeria, but I must say that whatever this is, it's very disturbing and should be addressed because we can disagree and still agree. Reason why Nigeria needs to divide, we don't share the same ideology |
