Yes I grew up in Lagos and I currently live in Lagos , I still have more Yoruba friends than Igbo friends, I have met really nice Yoruba people and I have contributed to community development and charity services in Yoruba land.

I don't hate Yorubas but some Yorubas have chosen to play very dirty style of politics which I never thought I will ever witness in my life in Nigeria and this was majorly promoted by Tinubu, this isn't even about election , with what I have experienced in the past few years in Nigeria mostly from the political side of some Yorubas and their ideology, I just want the division of Nigeria...

Personally I don't care who becomes president anymore same with most Igbos, personally I feel there is a serious political ideological difference that is really far apart, I feel as regions we are not aiming for the same thing, it's better we split...

I won't lie to you, Igbos are really tired, we don't care anymore, thats partly why we won't protest against Tinubu, like does it really change anything?

We feel the ideology is the bigger problem not even Tinubu, because without the ideology Tinubu may not be there today...

Even if Tinubu is removed from the equation or Peter Obi is president that ideology may still be there...

Whatever your agenda is, you can continue with your postulation. I saw your comment on today's thread where Amotekun arrested some kidnappers. Go on Lagos Ibadan Expressway, you will see security points. Attackers on that road were neutralised without noise making.

Criminal herdsmen are everywhere in Nigeria. They kill innocent citizens in Enugu, Ebonyi, Delta....so yoruba land is no exception. What I can guarantee you is it is no longer business as usual when all the security heads were Fulanis and have sympathy for the criminal herdsmen and were treated with kid gloves.

Now the 6 zones will have development commission to kick start development competition among them. So any zone that want to keep shouting can do so while those that really want to develop can hit the ground running.

We are not at all. And I can tell you since PBAT came to power, the dynamics have shifted. They have been uprooted from the main flash points in the SW. Security agencies and locals now go after them with a vengeance. Now the criminal Fulanis know they can't just call a big man in Abuja and they are treated with kid gloves. Under Buhari do you ever heard of one that was arrested and prosecuted?

They are now restricted to the fringes of Oyo, Ekiti, and Ondo states going after soft targets.

Just last week, 2 were lynced in the outskirt of Abeokuta after exchange of kidnapping ransom.

This is long overdue, considering the impact of overpopulation in the southwest, especially on Lagos... Lagos should have been given a special status since, cos everyone from every Nigerian tribe lives in Lagos. Most projects are funded by the state, while the focus has been on the Niger Delta region (which is totally necessary) and the North.

I went to a state outside Lagos recently and noticed there were only few people, most people have moved to Lagos, thereby putting extra pressure on the resources of the state, as well as that of Ogun state.
