The states where these things happen have govs and govt officials who haven't come out to confirm many of the stories.

The question I have always asked us,did all these just start today and you think you can eliminate non state actors with one sling shot......I can confirm to you the number of troops already mobilised to Sokoto, zamfara axis of evil and visible results are already being asserted.

Abuja kaduna highway used to be one of the most dangerous places somewhere few years back but sanity has long returned there,same for kaduna south,Buhari before he left had been able to deal with BH and iswap to a large extent and it's beeping sustained by the current govt.
Mali and Burkina Faso with supposed strong military leaders are now being overwhelmed with terrorism,the entire sahel is under existential threat and the instability in the region has fueled insurrections from western Sahara,mali to Algeria,Libya and chad.

When last have you heard about the menacing attacks by boko haram.....when last have you heard about large scale banditry in the southern kaduna axis..... terrorism eradication is a work in progress and gradually it would be resolved.

The same argument you are making was made at the dawn of GSM. People shouted and kvethceched about how telephony was being made to be out of reach of the poor, and brra buu buu bee, but at the end, the companies were able to make enough profit and bring down prices to ....enable the poor afford phones.

We have been subsidisng electricity and fuel for the poor for decades, and at the end, we have blackouts, collapsed grid, and so forth. And bad refineries, corruption, massive losses in NNPC, and so on.

Meanwhile countries that don't do that, or that charge high tax rates to pay for subsides do not

I end it here. You better give up now. Reality is a harsh mistriess. Either we pay for 24 hour power a day, or we keep lying to ourselves.

And calling me agabdo, as you are dying to do, does not change that fact. It was the fact that forced government to privatise the power sector partially , And do partial removal of fuel subsides.

2. Since power costs 161 naira to produce one kwh, how would they make a profit selling it below N70, and where would they get the money to make the needed improvements? From more loans, or from miracles?
