Arming citizen in areas affected by insecurity only will not lead to anarchy instead they will know how to defend themselves against Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen , Bandits and any terrorists. The current system is not working, and instead of them waiting for a sluggish Federal Government, let them arm themselves , work with the police or army officer and learn to defend themselves

Enough with prayers and fasting, let the military train citizens how to aim and reload an Ak 47, other guns and weapons. Ammend the firearm section of the Nigeria constitution and allow citizens living in area affected by insecurity only to carry arms and ammunition. The police and army cannot be everywhere, terrorist like to kill by surprise. Training citizens in Niger State , Plateau state and other states affected by insecurity with firearm is the best way to prepare for boko Haram and bandits . Instead of police arresting anyone with gun, they should help them with guns. With guns, they have a chance to fight back.
The killings go slow down once the terrorist know that people dey carry guns and can shoot well.

During Jonathan's time 2b alone was allocated for purchasing weapons, that money was lost in their pockets, remember the 2 b was not the defence budget.
They took that money while our soldiers were killed.
It took the government a while to recover and Buhari started buying things.

If that $2b had been used to buy military equipment at that time when Boko Haram was in infantry stage, we won't be having this problem today.

I still discussed this serious matter with some fellow landlords yesterday. Is there anything we can do to stop this influx of foreigners into the Southwest? My street is currently dominated by northerners. They have turned every corner and uncompleted buildings to shacks and residents. Their kids are everywhere, they don't attend school. Early in the morning they are already roaming about the community scavenging for scrap iron and water bottles. They know every in-and-out of our area than our own children.
