Nigerian government and some certain set of people called IPOB a terrorist group, they then arrested MNK and are even wising him dead, terrorists have been killing Nigerians and the government has refused to even label them terrorists not to talk of arresting and prosecuting them.
America decides to come and help Nigerians that are being killed by terrorists, then IPOB, MNK and Igbos are happy and even begging them to come to flush out terrorists from Nigeria, those who labeled IPOB terrorist are angry and saying they should not come....
If you know why this scenario I wrote up here is playing out then you've known the major problem of Nigeria and why Nigeria is where it is today, same reason they never wanted Peter Obi, same reason some of them say an Igbo should never be president. |

Once I see any news about PDP I just pass it over, I mean what are they still fighting for in PDP? Wike is currently bigger than PDP, his weight is sinking the party into the ocean and they keep fighting on the sinking ship, the only way to stop PDP from sinking into the ocean is remove the heavy weight(Wike) from the ship then PDP will gain balance back, till then any news from PDP is like trash to me... Lukuluku69: Your position is very true as we are supposed to be getting better as we go along in our journey as a nation. The present crop of leaders should be better than the past ones simply because they should learn from experience bit alas, the reverse it is with us.
The system is so rigged and skewed that for a credible leader emerge we will need a living miracle.
Look at any party Primaries when producing a flag bearer for the Elections! What do you hear? Obscene amount of money exchanging hands and do you expect that leader to enter office and not take back that money with interest of his own determination?
Personally, I don't believe any Leader parading now cam turn Nigeria around but they can only apply what they call Cosmethics dressing to make it all look dandy.
So, I lower my expectations, male sure I don't go against the Law of the Land until my tome is up on this planet. So in other words you have given up on seeing Nigeria work? |

Now Trump wants to attack terrorists in the north they found their voice defending the north against Trump, imagine if it was IPOB and south east Trump was targeting, they may have written numerous letters telling him to come quick, doesn't this show the real enemies of Nigeria and Nigerians? |

Let me ask you this. Is the federal government of Nigeria masterminding Christian genocide in Nigeria? Yes or No? The federal government under Tinubu is complicit with the genocides going on in Nigeria(both Christian and non Christians) as well as the insecurity ravaging most parts of Nigeria... Tinubu's government is a terrorist enabling government... |

psalmsjob: So it's ok for IPOB to kill Christians that are in their own region? It's people like you who condon killings as long as it doesn't involve you. I have always condemned killings whether Christian or Muslims even death penalty for whatever crime is wrong by me.... But I don't need America to say that before I can start salivating like you. I don't seek validation from anyone infact I like to be misunderstood by people like you. So what is your solution to ending the killings going on? |
Politics › Re: US Foreign Aid Disbursement To 20 African Countries For Sept 2025 by Brendaniel: 7:58pm On Nov 05, 2025 |
Lukuluku69: On paper, electing better Leaders is a right step forward but where are they? The better Leaders? Look at what APC did to Jonathan PDP? Saraki, Amexhi, Dino, Aregbe, El-Rufai and Co kicked him out but what did they do with that 8 years?
Now same people (at least large number) are now saying it is ADC that people should look forward to, but check the "inmates" of that place too, are they not the same of the same?
Where can we find these "better" Leaders? That's why I don't follow party, I supported Peter Obi in the last election not because he is a saint either, but I saw him as the best among the presidential candidates, that's my own view of starting from somewhere, if we say we should wait till we get a saint, the worst of the worsts may keep getting there like what is happening now. I believe in the process of refining leadership, if every 4 or 8 years we pick leaders better than the previous ones no matter how little in difference, the country will move forward and the institutions will keep getting stronger at some point the system will be so strong that it will be very hard to pick bad leaders. That's how some of the world powers came to be today. |
Politics › Re: US Foreign Aid Disbursement To 20 African Countries For Sept 2025 by Brendaniel: 7:06pm On Nov 05, 2025 |
Lukuluku69: The Laws we have are still largely Colonial Laws. It doesn't punish Looters of commonwealth hard enough. You must have heard the story of someone who stole billions but was fined only 700k only with an option of Jail term. Our Laws punish more of Criminal elements rather than the Elitists Criminals because those Laws were made by the Elites.
As for building strong institutions, you all lose the focus if you make this a Tinubu issue. I detest that man a lot but stealing and mismanagement of state resources predates him by decades of our Statehood. So, it is not about him. Though it would seem he has redefine the capture of state resources in his time. All of them are on on this. I say that with every sense of responsibility.
And yes, bot everyone will think the same, that is a fact but the Laws can make everyone alive to our collective responsibility to our commonwealth.
Remember my questions earlier, will they? Can they? That's why we need to start electing better leaders into office, we can start from somewhere... |

Lukuluku69: Solution/s to Corruption and corrupt practices?
Laws.
Build strong Institutions and bot not strong Individuals.
Let every man/woman change what is within his/her souls.
I will start with these three. But we already have the laws to some extent How do you build strong institutions with people like Tinubu you support? Everyone will not think the same way, so don't expect everyone to just change... You see that your solution is not really solutioning here... |

Even those that think they are not corrupt have not yet tasted roles where they will be tested.
But you’re right, leaders need to sanction appointees doing all these inferior projects, but it is what it is.
