I saw this movie : "Saving Private Ryan" on dstv yesternite and enjoyed it. I recommend.

Saving Private Ryan is in my list above. No 17, to be precise. Its really a good movie. Won Spielberg his second or so OScars.

Green Mile is number 20 on my list. But "Meet Joe Black"? Like seriously? Its a good movie, but it is subpar to most if not all of the movies mentioned already on this thread.

Thanks for this insightful delve into the history of "nollywood".

As much as this is saddening to know, but I think it is useful information to have at the back of ones mind while venturing into filmmaking in Nigeria.

The influx of sub standard films in Nigeria is helped a lot by the machinations of these marketers, but imho, I believe, they are just a little part of the problem.

Nollywood is majorly Independent filmmaking environment. I doubt we have any studio production, like Hollywood style, studio.

So, my point is; the marketer are problems, but we have many other problems crippling Nollywood. We've discussed them several times on this forum - so, I'll give it a rest.
