what about psychology?
I don't think there is an international equivalence for a psychology degree in Usa as @ now!or maybe in my State GA! Different States with different requirement as per professionals! All the clinical psychologist have seen were all US trained! I may be wrong though!

You don't need to write jamb again but when you get to America, You will have no other choice than to figure out what is in high demand over here and go for it as far as education and career is involved.

The good thing about United States is that you have lots of options, either you go back to school for a fresh degree program or you do some certification courses and still be reasonably employed with good pay. It all boils down to what your short and long term goals are.
I will AGREE and ALSO DISAGREE! It depends on him! Him having a Masters I think he wishes to pursue a career in the Academia! If he knows his onions he can do let's say a Second masters and a Phd and apply for Faculty officer position in a University! But like I said, it depends on him!

This is very similar to what is obtainable in Canada. Except the IT part, Indians have flooded that part of the job market, and Canada has a small job market due to it's low population and highly educated citizens.
100% of Nigerian educated doctors I have met working in Canada are usually into family, psychiatry and a few in ER.
I haven't met a Nigerian trained dentist though.
seems you are into the IT field?? Indians are every where!! Even in the Health care field!

I listed those courses because I have First hand info about them! From close friends, Family members, Friend of family members etc! Dietitians are health care providers!! Health care workers will always have one or two places for placement no matter what!! You can as well google them for info and also learn more from the State association of Dietitians in the state you wish to live!

For those of you whose dreams are to work in America, Here is a list of some Courses to study in Nigerian Universities that will make you a top shot in America!!

Dentistry: Dentistry remains one of the best professions in the world in terms of Pay and Job Satisfaction and work
Flexibility!Dentistry or Dental Medicine is Specialty of Medicine! When you study Dentistry in Nigeria and you wish to come over to the states to make a living, You gonna spend about 2years to get licensed after which you begin to Print money like a Printing Press! General Dentist under employments earn over $250K per Annum working 4- 5 Days a week. While specialist Dentist like Oral Surgeons, Orthodontist, Endodontist under employment earn between $350k- $500k per Annum! Those with their own Private Clinics can make as much as $700k-$1.2M Per Annum! I know of a Nigerian Oral Surgeon with two Clinics in North Carolinas, he Grosses $10k Dollars PER DAY(Without Tax and other Expenses).....Ermmh I happen to be a Dentist too

(2) Medicine: this profession still remains one of the best positions in the world! Also in terms of Pay and Job Satisfaction! Compared to Dentistry, practicing Medicine in America after Graduating from a Nigerian University is easier because you don't have to go back to school here! After Graduating, you only need to pass the USMLE after which you get into a residency Program! BUT The CATCH most people don't know here is, Because your Medical Degree isn't from America, there are some limited specialties and Slots available to you! E.g Finishing from Nigeria. Geting a Residency in Let's say General Surgery, Ophthalmology,Anesthesiology,Plastic Surgery and other Competitive Specialties IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! You are ONLY going to be limited to Physician Specialties like Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine,Psychiatry!! The Pay of these specialties ranges from $180k-$300k Per Annum!

Pharmacy:Imperative to the healthcare industry, pharmacists not only fill
prescriptions, but also educate patients on the potential side effects of
their medications, teach them how to handle side effects, and monitor
which prescriptions each patient is taking to prevent mixing incompatible
drugs. Annual Pay Ranges Between $150k-200k

Nurses: This is well known by all and Sundry! I personal know of Some Nigerian Nurses that earn $5k Per month! Nurses like the Nurse Anesthesia can make upto to $100k!

Information Technology: Computer science, Software engineers, Computer Engineers infact the IT Professionals! IT Professionals work software and hardware upgrades, protect office
networks from hackers and malwares. They make over $100k year Depending on your Qualifications etc! Many of my IT friends earn between 80k-100k

Radiography, Physiotherapy, Occupational Health: if you hard working you net $80k

Am a medical student who actually keeps a full crew cut, sometimes I get remarks that my hair cut is not worthy the profession am studying... Am asking the doctors in the house, is there any hairstyle code for us and for the non-medics what hairstyle would give you a go ahead to trust a doctor?
seems You are still a Pre clinical Medical Student! Come over to the clinics then nobody will need to tell you the kind of hair to keep!!

I am so greatful with this info. A chinese man once told me that the reason we brush our mouth is to keep our teeth clean and that should be done once in a day; probably last thing in the night. Excess brush can weaken the cavity.
excess brush?? Nothing like that!! It might interest you to know that the mouth is the dirtiest Part of the body! Ideally you just brush Two times a Day! And most good paste contains Fluoride that help to prevent Decay!!

Is it really compulsory to brush your teeth early morning before eating anything?
Hi! Nice Question! Am a Dentist And Here's a professional Advice!
1)The Last thing you do before you sleep @Night is BRUSHING! After Brushing @ night, the only thing you are permitted to take till morning is Water!
2) Now think about this, after last night's Brushing, when you wake-up in the morning don't you think your mouth will still be clean?? Yes it will still be clean
3)In the morning, You use water to gaggle and rinse your mouth, then Your eat
4) After taken your break Fast You brush away the leftover food debris in the mouth
Make sense right??
