MzErica:Hospitality business Is good business. So long as you have good management and publicist |
SmartPolician:Same network that has refused to send my transfer. Even pos debit with effecting payment. |
Unity Bank is the worse |
SmartPolician:Please try and be sensible |
ritaprincess:Someone has given you a sound advise and you are asking of experience that he should share. You know what go and borrow the funds from lapo then you can open a thread to tell your experience. |
Your daughter must have gone through alot and the skin must have really affected her self esteem. You would have seen a dermatologist a very long time ago (considering that she is a girl child) and shouldn't have waited this long. Please take her to a teaching hospital and let a dermatologist see her. Do it fast, your daughter really needs it. |
CallmeTrinity:If convicted for 14 years the 9 years awaiting trial would be computed to the 14 years. On the 10th year awaiting trial or 1 year after conviction he can be temporarily released. As it is presently he can be set free in a bid to decongest prison |
I have not used him but I have read from other thread long before now that wese90 is very reliable. |
frozen70:We saying the same thing, the bride price cost Is the list that will have to fulfilled before payment of bride price. The lady in question also have a role to play by telling her father or mother (for the mother to tell the father) that the man is a young man and much demand should not be asked of him but the issue is each family that their daughter have marry feel the need to do to other suitor what the extended family as a unit have done to theirs. For those in the East I think this is really the issue. Secondly the endless bride price list could just be a means for the elders to promote intra ethnic marriage because attimes special consideration of the list is done when the suitor is of same village |
frozen70:Meaning they have good record keeping system I won't be surprised if there daughter's are still in their father's home and single.Bride price Is very important under native law and custom but customs and laws change with time as they are made for man and not man for custom. Outrageous Bride price cost should be reduced but payment of Bride price should not be eradicated |
Tumbuleke:Lots of legal issue here but you failed to mention the type of marriage that was contracted with your friend. If you are on Telegram drop your handle in a dead thread and mention me. I could clarify things for you |
ladywise:Go and accept it. Its not easy to come across new note. If you keep rejecting you will end up without a single sale. ATM at as today Is still paying old note |
Its best CBN harken to the voice of reason of National Assembly and extend tne deadline to July 31st. At as today, ATM Is still dispensing old note |
HeartlessMan:Lmao.... You can't make heaven oo with a mouth like that. I thought it was VeryWickedGoat until I saw it was you |
Oliver80:God when!!! From a sincere heart, more blessings. It is good to celebrate with others |
Lol... I hope the lecturer give them an A for a true to life presentation |
Nigeria. There was a country |
DSS option Is a better choice. Bank job has no job security. If you have Masters but used OND for the DSS It would have been different but the truth is that there I really no difference between OND and HND so go for the DSS . Generally, death can come at anytime but safety Is of the Lord. If its prospects that Is your concern DSS is more like it |
BABANGBALI:Na who I wan impress? I no get power to reply you again |
BABANGBALI:We all can't behave the same way, your opinion doesn't change the fact that the plate is a turn off. For some of us how our food is presented is as important or almost as important as the food itself. |
The food worth the cost but the plate is a turn off though |
Onyeka90210:You have said it all. Op CLA is a low standard benz with cheap interior that is not associated with benz. It is in Nigeria that people overhype CLA because it has a benz badge. Comparing CLA with GLK is like comparing night with day, I believe you already know which is night and which is day |
Nigeria lecturers like to behave like demi god. The lecturer should go and sit down |
While hype men most times promote immorality (without a doubt) but for those in the hospitality sector they know very well that hype men are necessary. A hype man can hype a person in the club that intended to buy 2 Four Cousin to buy 1 American Honey, 2 Belaire, 1 Azul, 1 Jameson Black Barrel and 1 Blue Label. The buyer will only realise how much he has spent when he is sober by then the entrepreneur will be smiling to the bank. To your question whether hype men are necessary? Yes they are. Everyone has a purpose and an advantage regardless of how you view their disadvantages |
The headline is misleading. CONUA did not call off the strike (they did not declare in the first place) it simply ordered its members to resume academic work. CONUA was not on strike in the first place they stopped academic work because 'universities gate' was closed by VC which made student unavailable for the CONUA to teach. Cc; ALMUSTAQIM be guided and use sensational headline to mislead. MODs please do not push this thread to front page, it should be done after Op edit the caption properly |
(No shame in it though) I'm surprised you don't know about this method and how potent it is. I will be amazed at alot of legal/equitable right that most Nigerians do not know. Just yesterday a boy was confidently said that : "no matter what I cannot take anybody to court, they can take me to court but I cannot take anyone to court" The rate of illiteracy by most literate is alarming |
budaatum:You would have read to understand my point of view and not reading because you want to reply. The 7 month salary arrears is a major reason the union went on indefinite strike when government invoked the 'no work no pay policy'. The union deserve the Earned Academic Allowance and they deserve to be paid up till the last penny. There was no salary arrears before the union went on strike so obviously salary arrears cannot be a reason for the initial strike that was came into effect Feb 14th. When I said the pay you are clamouring for is it the salary arrear for 7 month they sat at home, it was actually a rethorical question but been that you answered no then I will ask these questions: A) F.g not paying ASUU for the 7 month of the strike is it justified? B) Or should FG pay ASUU for the 7 month strike on compassionate ground (any compassion whatsoever) but not because the union has the right to be paid for these 7 month? Your answer to question A) and B) use it to answer if the union declaring indefinite strike because of 'no work no pay policy' of government is a good reason for a union that "want to save public institution from collapse" |
budaatum:...and who told you I'm a student with your hasty generalisation? The pay you are clamouring for is it the salary for the lecturers that sat home for 7 month? Please do not mention the cliche that research and community service have priority over teaching when we all know there has been little to no research as well as community service. The abnormality has been on for a very long time that they now have an entitlement mentality of been paid for strike action. The problem with the union is that they see anyone that says the truth as one who want to victimise them or a card carrying member of government without looking at the merit of their argument. You don't burn down a bridge because you want to catch a thief just the way wisdom is profitable to direct when one want to kill a mosquito on the $cr.otum despite the desire of ASUU "to save public institutions" they are actually doing more harm to the system than good by this strike. I want lecturers to be better paid and I totally support an increase in their salaries also I support public universities to be better funded but throwing all negotiations thus far because of 'no work no pay policy' of FG raises the question of who the union is really fighting for ? The union would have temporarily called off the strike for 2 or 3 months like other union did while the union use these 2 to 3 month of strike been temporarily called off to insist on their salaries during the strike period and that would have been a better option. FG is not blameless at all in this situation they need to give education more priority. Should Court of Appeal throw out the appeal, an honourable thing for the union would be to obey court order. Sometimes, we have to lose battle to win the war |
AsuuKiller:ASUU cannot further appeal from Court of Appeal to Supreme Court. Judgement from National Industrial Court ends at Court of Appeal. ASUU has lost the sympathy of Nigerians they should call of the strike. Is not like FG is any better |
Without a doubt ASUU has lost the sympathy of most Nigerians as ASUU and FG is almost seen as two sides of same coin. At times like this one wonder who ASUU is really fighting for? Going to court in labor matter is usually a last resort when negotiation has failed but it is hypocritical of FG to go to court when she has an unenviable reputation for disobeying court order. ASUU want to be paid, but who then will pay student's 7 month out of 12 month rent ? Who will compensate student for the emotional trauma that they have been through during the strike period? Who will compensate student that would no longer be able to mobilise for Nysc because of age restrain? If only FG and ASUU know the number of student that have dropped out from university because of the strike they would have buried their hatchet. Regardless, of court ruling on Wednesday both parties should obey court ruling on the matter. |
I won't be surprised if there daughter's are still in their father's home and single.
