Please is it advisable to continue filling DS 160 without up loading photo because it showing the submitted photo did not meet the image quality requirement.

if you have a phone that as front camera,just login back to the form with your phone,and look for where there's white background, maybe your house or inside your house,snap the picture there and crop it,is gonna work that way,that's how I did mine.

you don't have to pay issue fee as far as you've paid your visa fee

the address you fill when making the payment will be at the receipt and you're not to pay the visa fee before filling the ds-160 form,you can also fill the ds-160 form before making the visa fee,anyone you feel like doing

is better you contact international students admission office and explain to them that you didn't apply for fall 2017,they will sort it out,unless you told them that you wanna defer your admission

My acceptance letter was email to me. And also with dis msg: “We are not accepting apps yet for early fall 2017. However, you can just defer your admission (wait until early December) to that session. All you need to do is send a note with your name like you did and state you wish to defer to early fall2017”

if I may ask which session do you apply for and which session was written in your admission letter?

The most important thing is the class start date,thought your orientation date is also important, but my own advice is that you should travel from December 9,so you can also inform your DSO about it maybe there's any other date for the orientation, because the CBP officer don't joke with the 30days rules

Bro am very sorry for disturbing....pls does schools place more importance on the test (SAT/TOELF) i.e is one acknowledged than the other....pls enlighten me on the difference, pls,biko,èjo,nagode.

well each schools as there own requirements but base on the test,some schools don't require it before considering for admission as far as you have a good academic grades,while some schools require both before they could actually consider you for admission, some require only the SAT,while some require only TOEFL,so I said earlier is based on each school requirements, and the importance of taking the SAT is that if you could have a high score you have a better chance of getting a scholarship.

is better to get a letter of sponsorship for you to be on a safer side and also have a good reason why his sponsoring you

I don't think it will be same for a hi-tech country like america to recognise a degree from a third world country like Nigeria.they know quite well that we spend 6yrs for 4yrs course due to strike of a thing,they know that our universities don't match up to the standard of their own universities and you expect them to employ us with our naija certificate?the best option is to work in a naija company in the united state and at the same time work for your masters or an American degree. A Nigerian degree is gradually becoming useless in our country,talkless of America.

I LEFT IBADAN FOR LAGOS ON WED, 17TH AUG... MY FLIGHT WAS SCHEDULED FOR 6:30AM.. VIA ROYAL AIR RAMOC.
THE CHECK IN STARTED AROUND 2AM.... I DID THE NORMAL CHECKS,WEIGHED MY LUGGAGES, WENT TO THE NIGERIA CUSTOMS AND NDLEA TABLE TO CHECK MY LUGGAGES... NIGERIANS LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH CORRUPTION. THE WOMAN IN CUSTOM UNIFORM TOLD I HAVE TO PAY 2,000 FOR THE FOODSTUFF I WAS CARRYING AND OR ELSE I WILL FOLLOW THEM TO THE OFFICE TO MAKE THE CERTIFICATION. EVENTUALLY I PAID THE WOMAN 1K. FROM THERE I PROCEEDED TO THE COUNTER TO GET MY BOARDING PASS... WENT THROUGH THE IMMIGRATION CHECKS ... AND PROCEEDED TO BOARD MY FLIGHT.
THE FLIGHT TOOK OFF FOR CASABLANCA AT EXACTLY 06 :30AM.. WHILE ON BOARD WE WERE SERVED COFFEE, JUICE, YOUGHURT AND WATER.. AT 10:30AM WE TOUCHED DOWN AT CASABLANCA, AND MOVED TO TRANSIT LOUNGE FOR THE 17HOURS.
WHILE WAITING FOR THE 17HOURS TO BE OVER, WE WERE AGAIN SERVED THE MOROCCOAN FOOD THAT I COULD NOT TELL HOW IT TASTED. IT WAS SERVED FOR LUNCH AND DINNER.. I MANAGED TO EAT THOUGH.
ON FRI.18TH AT EXACTLY 1AM, THE 17HOURS LAY OVER CAME TO AN END... AND WE WERE TRANSFERED FROM THE TERMINAL 1 OF THE AIRPORT TO WHERE WE TO CATCH THE FLIGHT... WE WERE CHECKED IN AGAIN... AND FIND OUR WAY TO THE BOEING 787-8 AIRCRAFT.. VERY LOVELY AIRCRAFT... WE TOOK OFF FROM CASABLANCA TO NEW YORK AT EXACTLY 04:30AM... I ENTERTAINED MYSELF WHILE ON BOARD.. WATCHED MOVIES AND LISTENED TO THE MUSIC OF MY CHOICE... AGAIN WE WERE SERVED THEIR SO CALLED FOOD (NIGERIANS CAN CALL IT 'EBO'). I SHA MANAGED TO EAT IT AGAIN. WE GOT JFK - NEW YORK AT EXACTLY 7:05AM(LOCAL TIME).. I STEPPED MY FEET ON AMERICAN SOIL FOR THE FIRST IN MY LIFE... IMMEDIATELY PROCEEDED TO THE CBP OFFICER FOR CLEARANCE.
HERE IS MY SHORT CHAT WITH HIM
CBP:GOOD MORNING
ME: I PASSED HIM MY DECLARATION FORM, PASSPORT AND I-20
CBP: CHECKED THEM, CAPTURED MY RIGHT FINGERS PRINT AND TOOK MY PHOTOGRAPH... STAMPED MY PASSPORT AND RETURN MY DOCS TO ME.
I WENT IN TO CLAIM MY LUGGAGES AND EXIT THE AIRPORT FOR MY DESTINATION.
AFTER THE WHOLE PROCESS I WELCOMED MYSELF TO AMERICA... GOD'S OWN COUNTRY.

However, $630 converted to naira by wakanow itself on their website is N198,744. This corresponds to an exchange rate of N323 to $1. Etihad does not display the naira equivalent before I make payment. So, I may be charged at a rate higher than N323 of wakanow's. Anyone's got an idea what the rate of etihad usually is?

I dont think ethihad will have an initial rate,it depends on the bank card you actually use for the payment
And each bank as their own exchange rate
I'm very sure bank rate will actually be higher than Wakanow own,you can check abokifix website for ATM rate

it actually depends on each school requirements, some colleges don't require any test,but is much advisable taking test, and also taking the SAT test actually give you an opportunity of getting a scholarship that's when you have a high score
