I hope we are good to go. Any additions please will be appreciated and how many photocopies shld we make of each document. Thank you

Any doc that will help you prove ur marrage.
Pics of both of you wayback b4 marrage.
Pics of you, him and ur child when he/she was born if you have.
Know each other very well, food, color, size, dates, place, how many people attended ur marrage, when last/first u both had hmmm and position.
The questions can be funny u know but you both need to be ready for any question.

I think the person adviceing another person shuld try it him/her self then come and tell the house the out come or who get heart/liver should. No comment.

congrate bro. Yes u can collect for your wife and its free, no collection fee. Location: its at the 2nd roundabout, you can even see the buliding from the road. At the roundabout, you take ur left and while in the road/street, you take ur 1st left again, i think the buliding it abt the 4th by the left, you cant miss it.

Yes they are. If you sent 2 photographs to KCC, one will be returned to you at the embassy in LAGOS and i will advice you to go with three photographs to the embassy because it was three that was requested from me not two.

bobshina: Thank God. I finally landed in America with my family yesterday & d xperience was so wonderful. We don't hav much problem at port of enty- JFK airport NY, we join d queue for immigrant and we are 2nd on d queue. I gave d Immig Officer our PP & d Yellow envelopes. She checked to see if we've tried to open d envelopes. Thereafter, she opened the envelopes one after the other. took our finger prints and snap us. she then inputs some info into the system and finally stamped our PP.She then took us into the main room where she led us to a man. she gave our forms(contents of d yellow envelopes) to d man and d man gave us a form to put our fingerprint on it and signed it. Everytin took us less than 15 minutes in d airport.
Note: D yellow envelopes should never be opened pls. It contains all ur documents u've already seen : form ds 230, original police report, medical report,and d fotocopy of ur birth cert or NPC cert. ur 3 2x2 pasports collectd from u during the interview at lag. so, its all what u've already seen.

No, green card may only take 10 working days if you don't have any problem with your medicals with them, I am only talking about waiting period for your SSN.

Yes, Adesoji is right. You may have to wait for 21day b4 you appling for your SSN but it may vary from 1 state to another but am talking abt west of the states, that i know for sure.

Ibracadabra: Hey guys. Good morning... I have a little concern. My host wants me to buy stuff for him; and even tho I have agreed to, I want to know if you think its safe to travel with them. These are some of the things he told me to buy when coming;

1. Ground Ogbono (Ogbono that has gone thru d grinder)
2. Egusi
3. Other food stuff

Pls advice me cos I wouldn't wanna jeopardise my visa based on flimsy requests. Is there any flight concern or danger flying with these cos I know that since after sept 11th: airports are extra concerned about stuff like this.

do not carry raw, fresh, dry, fried, smoked or anything made from meat or chicken but others yes you can.
You ok with ogbono, egusi, dry fish, dry pepper, crayfish.

The VISA is valid for six months but the medicals is valid for abt three months but you may not be told that, thats why i advice all of you to do your medicals abt 7 days to ur date. At ikoyi, it takes 3 working days.
so its not validity of ur VISA but medicals. You may need to spend abt $1000 for a fresh medicals in the States if its expired.
