i arrived lagos u.s. embassy at exactly 10mins to 6am. when it was 6:30am,a guy came to announce that all non-immigrant for 6:30am interview should queue up. shortly,the guy then came to announce for 7:00am interview for immigrant category in which i belong. lucky enough, i was the first person in the immigrant queue category. after all thier series of announcement ranging from opening the medical envelope,what not to enter in with and series of security checks,i was finally ushered in. note, while you move from one point to another, make sure you secure all tally number given to you. after paying the 330dollar which was 54500naira,i was called to submit all my credentials. i submitted all i came with and the lady took just the needed ones e.g nysc cert, degree cert, neco cert, npc birth cert,epassport,three passport photo,one photocopy for each credentials and also the police and medical report. in summary, interview started after waiting for like 1hr 50mins. i was the first to be interview today in the immigrant category.

My interview is at d corner... Infact in less than 2 weeks. I have all my documents ready and just dry-cleaned my suit for the D-Day ... I want to thank everybody for their support as d days wind down and I hope my interview will b very successful... My NPC, medicals, police certificate were all made easy by this forum. You guys furnished me with directions, instructions and guidelines to get these documents ready in a place like Lagos which I'm otherwise not familiar with. So thanks a million again and I hope to share my success story in 2 weeks.

That said, I need to know how to arrange my documents. Which ones to photocopy (I know d medicals won't b pphotocopied cos they're sealed)... So I would appreciate if anyone who has been interviewed could help me with details of how a single applicant (with no derivatives) should arrange his papers- how many envelopes, how many photocopies and stuff like that...

I pray that may Lord almighty give us our hearth desire in this forum and favour shall be ours during the interview. Please, for those who has used NPC attetation for their interview,expecially for married woman. Is NPC uses her Maiden name for the attestation or her Husband first name? Please, kindly clearify this.
