I don't think your state of origin has changedbecause you are married. There is usually a lga certificate which is usually given at local govt secretariat . You have not been issued another one from your husband's lga na.

How did you take the fenugreek? Best method for me is swallowing one table spoon of the seeds 3-4times a day consistently for 3days. ...there should be an improvement. The tea method didn't work for me. Keep pumping. .. every 4hours if possible

That's why I dislike the Huggies brand cos its a 'status statement' in Nigeria.

My baby was also a frequent pooper during ebf. Pooing at least 4 times a day, runny poop but not watery. He'd eat, and poo immediately. I refused to get worried because he was adding weight nicely. Besides I have a very fast metabolism and I believe he inherited that.

My diet was okay, and he uses cup and spoon when not feeding from the breast.

Even when he started formula was same thing, just different consistency of poo. One day he stopped just like that and now poos max once daily. I believe he stopped last week (4 months 2 weeks).

Then I have nothing to worry about then...

. That fine guy needs to suck that breast for milk to be fully established. Also about the stooling please you need to rule out infection cos bottle might be the culprit.

I have dumped expressing for a while now and guess what I was trying to give DD bm from spoon and cup yesterday the babe rejected it totally she is so used to tit now.

My dear no watching weight for now o if you are determined to breastfeed your baby to your satisfaction you need correct food well I might be wrong. Was watching my weight after birth when my doctor told me that I cant serve two Gods at the same time. Just include excercise and you will be fine. You need enough food for milk to be established dont limit yourself to certain classes of food. Our paed also told me that beans changes the taste of bm he sha talk plenty grammar dt day so he limited me to once a week.

I read somewhere that locust beans also boost production well since I was desperate for milk and I had nothing to lose I ate one tablespoon in the morning and another one at night, i was looking for my breast pad the next morning something I never thought I could use.

No tell me sorry for long post anything . I love hearing from you ladies abeg. I don't think bottles are related to it sha....cos the bottles hygiene is top notch. ... He doesn't poo throughout the night at all ....so am not so desperately worried sha.

Very loose poo every 2-3 hours for a baby that age is a lot. that means he poos averagely 5 times a day between 8am and 6pm. I personally think that's too much. At your baby's age, mine was on about 180ml of milk and peaked at about 220ml when he was around 5 months old. At that age he was getting minimum 6 diaper changes - soiled or not.

since you are breastfeeding, what is your diet like? Are you taking too much fruits? Too much honey? Too much sugary food? Too much vegetables? I am a big fan of Ribena and anytime I took it during the first weeks of breastfeeding, my son always ended up pooing frequently than usual and his poo was very loose. Even when I hid to sip my Ribena, my mum always knew as the tell tale signs were there once she changed his diapers and she would scream 'mummy ribena' . I had to give up Ribena.

I think you should watch what you eat, change your diet and see if there are any changes. If the frequency of his poo is still the same, seek the opinion of a doctor.

if your baby is formula fed, then maybe you should try another brand as that might also be responsible for the frequent poo.

My breakfast/ lunch is usually yam/rice pepper soup, beans and ripe plantain, unripe plantain cooked in different styles and then dinner is soup....
Fruits are occasionally. ..No junks either .

A formula fed 3 month old baby should ordinarily be on 150-180 ml every 3hours!

For EBfed the we were told to feed on demand can a baby overfeed on bm (Still a debate)
They usually stop drinking when they are full, if he is taking all the expressed milk and seems content I'm good with that.

Frequent poop asides diarrhea shouldn't be a cause for concern it may just mean the child has a well functioning digestive system and metabolism.

As long as you are producing enough milk and your son is feeding well and happy + healthy why are you bothering yourself on the amount of shit he produces everyday? Something is constantly going in and something will definitely come out as waste!

The downside of cutting down on his feed now might be crankiness as his stomach is already stretched to accommodate this present quantity.

My opinion the quantity is just right and may even be slightly under if he weighs up to 6 kg.

Diaper change in a day depends on a lot of factors but nothing less than 3 per day.

10months was typo error. Meant to type 10weeks. I just want to be sure he is not having diarrhea as I learnt that from a certain age babies can go a whole day without pooping.
Am not producing enough milk ooo that is why I am pumping as often as I can to make sure he gets enough.

I don't know his current weight till we go for 10weeks immunization. ..

Mamas in the building that feed expressed breast milk to their LOs. ...how many mL do you feed at a go and what is the time interval ?
My baby is 10weeks old today...I have been feeding him with 120ml every 2-3 hours..except he sleeps longer than 3hours but once he wakes I feed him. Recently, I started making it 130ml . But I don't seem to be comfortable with his poo frequency. It is too frequent except at night (he doesn't poo throughout the night for more than a week now)...like every 2-3hours too and very loose...My mind occasionally thinks diarhea but then no fever or weakness. Google says overfeeding can cause loose poo but does not categorically mention what quantity is too much.
What quantity do you feed your babies and how many diapers do you change?

Mamas in the house thanks for the good works. pls my baby is 11days old and I given chloxy G gel to use for her umbilical cord and when the cord fell off I continued using it on her navel. the issue now is that the navel surface is dry and hard; My mother said it's not suppose to be dry so I'm so confused. pls who else have used this product and how did you use it?

Same thing I used on my son too. I stopped using it after 4-5days after his cord fell and started using spirit to clean till everything healed completely
