Hahaha, I understand. ur episiotomy should have healed by now but fear won't let u, I bet u if oga begin touch u and u reach the moon, u will forget ur episiotomy.

My tear was a third degree tear ooo. So I doubt it has healed completely for Monkey shadow style . Waiting for 6weeks checkup oo.

Sweetheart, its not a must that it should be on the 8th day. I waited till cord had fallen cos i think its better after cord has fallen. But it's best when baby is still very tender so as to reduce the pains felt and for faster healing. This new circumcision method heals very fast. My son's circumcision healed before his navel.

Morning Mamas.....Greetings to All my e-sisters. Chai, I really missed you all O ooo. Surprised I can be here this early All thanks to breast pump O ooo. I pumped yesterday and refrigerated it. Gave him this morning after his bathe. My guy just slept off. Before now, him for still dey hang for my breast. Now, as am typing this am currently pumping another one now. When am done, will take my bath. If he wakes up by then, no wahala. Will breastfeed him directly . God bless who ever invented this device. Will be able to get a lil more rest at least. I wish I can make the device faster ......

In other news, this Aunty Flow is not loyal O ooo. How can it return just a month after? Abi mama's is it possible for lochia to stop and return 6days later? I wasn't planning to see it for the next 6months plus ooo. Please you people should come and carry it oo

Britneystacy, don't worry. As you keep pumping, you will get more. Also keep a big bottle of water next to you and sip along as you are pumping. Again, there are times of the day wen you get the best from pumping eg early in the morning

Thanks for the response. I drink lots of water. The user manual of the pump says I should pump twice a day...so am afraid if pumping more time may spoil the device. The product is even flo electric pump

Thank you Sis....It's not been easy that's why I can not come here as often but I hopeit gets better. I developed a strategy for night ...I breast feed on bed. I just got a breast pump too

Cappo if he is looking small in your eyes try and weigh him to see if he is loosing weight. If he is loosing weight that means he is not been satisfied. Wat my paed told me at 5weeks after breastfeeding i shld top it with 55ml of bm if baby finishes it that means she is nt getting enough from the breast. And everyweek their food intake increases. God help us

I can't wait for 6weeks to come oo so he can be weighed . He can finish 100ml of expressed breast milk at a go.

My baby has been a handful; hence my absence here. But I want to believe it will be better now as I just got my breast pump. I hope it really helps cos it's pricey.
But I pumped and got only 80mls from both breasts. Wasn't so impressed. Experienced mother's what quantity doyou get when you express?

Goodevening Mamas.....I didn't know taking care of a newborn is this time consuming ooo . I finally got an electric breast pump and expressed about 80mls from both breasts. I was expecting to get 80mls or more from each breast. Please suggestions or advice from Mothers with pumping experience cos I really need more milk so others can help lemme rest more too....

1. Isn't that 80mls from both breasts too small ? Am I not supposed to get more when pumping ?

2. What can I do to lactate more and get more milk to pump ?

3. How many times can I pump in a day ?

4. Baby looks small in my eyes. What can I do to make him add more flesh ? He will be 5weeks on Tuesday.

Capo britneystacy, it's cos u r in ur mum's place n hubby is getting his full sleep @ home dat is y he is insisting u shld do Ebf even wit yr health. If u were @ home wit him nd he looses sleep also he ll even b d one 2 buy d formular. I call my hubby father of 3 without experience cos immediately I put 2 bed I relocate 2 mumsy place 4 @ least a mth plus. Wit my 1st I cldnt cope n I introduce formular @ 2wks. I ll suggest u get d electric pump cos it's faster. Bt pls if u can't, introduce formular o, wen ur bp has stabled u can continue ebf. Ebf no b do or die o. Ur health is very important.

Ur hubby needs to understand that there's nothing wrong with formula. It's only a living and healthy person that can breast feed o....your mum's maid is too young. you can ask olatebony if she has an affordable electric pump.

if you can find NUK or Evenflo products, that will be great. they are less expensive than avent, tommee tippee and the rest

My DS sleeps more at night cos his father doesn't pity him. He feeds him about 2-3 ounces of expressed breastmilk every 3hrs, changes his diapers and Ayomide sleeps soundly.
So you need to make a plan. Nurse during the day, let your mum get her sleep during the day also. Then pump enough bm to last him through the night and put in the fridge. As long as he is well fed, diaper dry and room temp ok, he should sleep fine.

Exactly. Shops in my town all have manual. I wanted electric. But if I cant find it to buy, may eventually settle for the manual.

Sugah has said it all. Express enough milk for dh to help you feed him at night. Its faster to feed him expressed milk than feeding him directly from your breast.

So even if you have to wake up and feed him yourself, you wont spend up to 15mins feeding him the expressed milk.

Also check the temp in the room. I found out Hansel wasn't sleeping then because the room was too hot and he was padded with too much clothes.

Don't beat urself to it ok. Take it one day at a time. This phase will pass.

I hope u re managing the high blood pressure. Do you have a maid? She can help with feeding and playin with him while u catch some rest.

I want to supplement with formula But each time I mention it, the father wants to kill me as if I just suggested killing Obama .
Am trying to manage the blood pressure with little sleep i get but it's still fluctuating around 140/150 and some bad days 160 as against my 100 which I had even throughout pregnancy. Am at mumsy's place. She has a maid but a JS2 girl .she does washing and sweeping . I wasn't able to take her to run some tests on her so am not comfortable giving my baby to her to hold....

So I figured out that expressing the milk and getting him to eat fast will give me more time to sleep. Hence, the reason I want to buy breast bump. ..

Mumsy that has been helping too her b.p is rising especially as she was hypertensive already. ..So it's not easy with me. Ekene doesn't sleep for long at all. I manage to time him to bath and even eat everyday. Please do you have breast bump electric for sale?
