My sister, I went oo ooo on my 6weeks check up. I weighed 84kg. Doctor had reservations about my using any other method apart from Condom because of my weight ooo. That I may have issues.

Mama, since you are on a low budget, I believe u still have sleepsuit and oneies used by your first child, towels, shawl, bibs, bathing set, breastpump, flasks. What I think you need extra is just your hospital list supplies, baby soap, oil, lotion then one set of outing cloth for your girl as babies don't .

Teammate the lord is ur strength and he will surely provide all ur needs according to his glory in riches....Am sure our princess can still use some of big her brother stuff, maybe all those newborn sleep suit and oda stuff u kept back den, like mamas here use to Say baby don't usually go out for d 1st 3months so u can get few dresses and other important stuff.

I think k it's easier for girls to wear their brother's clothes than vice versa plus the fact that they aren't too much sort means you haven't given them all out.
For me, I was super excited to her a daughter that I ignored most of her brother's clothes but some clothes were pretty life saving at the end of the day: sleepsuits and bodysuits.
I bought only a pack of bodysuits in each like only sizws for her and she mixed it with her brother's. Also his shorts and white Tees came in handy.
Of you're on a low budget, forget about the girly bodysuits and sleepsuits and let her rock her brother's.
Just get a few gowns and hair clips for outings and she's good to go.
At home she wears boys clothes and outside (which won't be till she's like 3m), she rocks her gowns.
Now the good thing with gowns is they hardly ever make 3-6m would buy from 6m upwards cos she'll be in your arms anyways and by the time she's ready to sit at 6m she'll still have them.

don't beat yourself... you can reuse her brother's onesies for her.. The 1st three months, you don't need soo much. Don't feel bad about preparedness, it happens to everyone. You can use same soap, cream for them, only different diaper sizes.

Don't stress ur mind abt it.Lucky u dt ur 1st is a boy cos it's easier for girls to wear boys stuff Dan d oda way round. 4 her hse wears, she can wear her brother's shorts n polo. For now wat u need is jst ribbon 4 sisi(lo) hair or head band and what she'll wear for naming ceremony, a beautiful socks or pop socks. She can also wear her brother's shorts or troussiers wth her head band wen u wana go for her immunization. God will surprisely provide dt she would v sufficient clothes as she grows. If u worry urself 4rm nw till next world it aint gonna change anytin instead u'll stress urself. Rather, thk God 4 ur wonderful gift and watch as how u'll b amazed by the way provisions will scatter ur home. It's well.

Other mamas have already given great tips. let her wear her brother's clothes even the shorts and trousers. a few girly tops are all that are needed. with a low budget one needs to get creative.

DIY girls clothes are also easy to make and oh- soooooo cute: so do not rule out making a few pieces or re-working things to suit you when your dd is a bit older.

A few tips can be found here: you can also modify a few of her bro's Tshirts in to gowns with matchin ankara or printed fabrics ( you will find link picture tutorial on how this is done.

Thanks for the response. I will try the suggestions as you said. Won't I need a sowing machine for the DIY tasks?? Can they be done with the hands? I am not presently in Lagos...married outside Lagos. But I was there before I got married. Why did you ask please?

Mamas in the house ....Una well done ooo. Please I need suggestions and advice ooo. Mamas that had one gender in first pregnancy and had another gender in the second pregnancy, please how did prepare for the second baby ? How did you do your second shopping especially in terms of clothings and the likes especially when you are on low budget?

I have about 8weeks to go and I have not gotten anything for the new baby. First was a boy and this one is a girl....so am worried....Am feeling so bad that I am so unprepared for my daughter.....plus am confused too...
What do I get ? What will she need At least for the first 3months?

Present twice O ooo. Capo thanks for checking up on us ooo .. EDD has not changed ooo but Doc has said I may likely have the baby earlier than EDD. Scan says am team XX ...but I still intend to take a confirmatory scan again...
Ministry is pushing oo with difficulty. I feel soooooo tired moving from one point to another. I don't know how I will cope with my baby and house chores till October ooo....I just don't know how. ....

Morning Mamas. I missed yersterday which was bumpy Tuesday. Did anybody contest my queen of bump crown with me Me sef don begin the reason the age of my pregnancy sef because of my bump size. In other news, lots of chores with little strength. Ekene's appetite has greatly improved after the malaria drugs. Have started multivatmins on him too and there is remarkable improvement. Just down with flu sha. Mumsy has been down too. Not easy. God dey. What's the latest guys Cappo?

Able cappo. I dey hail o ooo. I for don the give una updates na from time to time. My browsers just connive say no more nairaland for me . I no fit open nairaland. I come dey think weda I chop ban sef. This morning sef, na inside toilet I dey say make I try again. E come open. You are doing a good job jareh.

If no be say na on top toilet seat I dey siddon, I for don snap my 2scans reports wey I don do and baby no gree open legs . Those my money dey pain me erh. Money wey I no even get. And am really desperate to know so I can start preparing on time. But I dey suspect say na girl (shebi dem talk say na girl dey cross legs any how).

EDD is 16th sha. Big boy is fine. Tho recently we have been struggling with food. His appetite has greatly reduced. I just started malaria drugs on him. I have not treated him of malaria in the last 4months. I hope his appetite returns abeg. I get worried when he doesn't eat.

Am happy for our October team. We have gotten upto 27members. Shout out to you all. all the way. Am not usually a dull member o ooo but I don explain wetin dey worry me.
May God lead us safely to the end of this journey.

Should I go ahead and lock data to submit? Any possibility that no LGA can affect my chances of being shortlisted ? I have used different browsers and it's the same issue.
