I wasn't rude I was quoting with the Catholic's, I really believed you are nuttie, but after speaking with these Catholic's they are even nuttier.
But to stop an argument, if you can't see any of the signs. Than I pray for you brother, that the Lord will reveal it to you.
KoloOyinbo:
The scripture points to vague signs. I don't need to quote these you have already done so. Even those vague signs have not been fulfilled!
Don't get me wrong the world will end one day! The Bible is quite correct about that. But there is absolutely no sign that that end is anywhere near. The only constant has been the two millennia of unintelligent misinterpretation and prediction that it is imminent.
This debate has been raging for thousands of years and I see no indication that all of a sudden YOU have got it right where all before you have been wrong!
God gave us our intelligence and want us to use it. So what better place to start than with his scripture. Look for understanding of the message. NOT vague allegory's and metaphors. Perhaps YOU need to receive the Holy Spirit.
In any case as I have pointed out. Belief in WHEN this happens is not a central part of ANY Christian denomination and irrelevant to salvation. You just need to accept that it is a minority (usually the more literally and fundamentalist) of denominations and indeed individuals that think the end is imminent. Most (as I think - normal) Christians disagree with this myopic viewpoint.
