I have been reading through your scripts, you really don't see it coming do you. Its not about numbers, its the meaning of those numbers being put out there. You may think the Lord don't care for his people as you have posted, but I a sure you we are seeing the signs of the end of the age coming towards us. You are a anti believer in end-time prophesies. A matter of fact, none of your faery's have any scriptures attached to any thing you write. Not even those wonderful scriptures I had asked you to share. Superstition can mean either way good or evil, and people seem to cling either on their fears or use items such as teddy bears, rabbit foots or even photo's to remind them they are safe, some have fears only because, someone or something had frightened them as a child or later in life, or in some cases a disaster that cured had put the shivers up their backs, some can't cope, others after receiving support can, but theirs a fear in every man, when one meets the unknown. Did we not as a child believe in the boogie man, did we believe in Santa, the Easter bunny, this all comes under superstition. And because Christianity see's the signs, its not uneducated superstitious or even nonsense or even degrading, its a blessing for us all to enjoy and know the Lord is on his way. KoloOyinbo: Don't understand your comment. I thought things were clear - reducing Christianity to silly uneducated superstitious nonsense is clearly degrading!
666 is evil but 667 is ok. What about 666.00001. See how daft it all is. Look at the message not just a few word taken out of context. It is excellent that Christianity is growing so fast in the developing world but we all need to ensure that is does so without all the ignorant superstitions that some people ascribe to it. |

With this message, it shows clearly you don't believe. Even Jesus prophesied about the end times into our future, is he a false prophet too? And if you think you will die when your time is up, then I pray the Lord will give you enough wisdom to say we live. KoloOyinbo: Oh. As a Christian I have no problem believing the MESSAGE of the Bible and in Christ.
MY problem is believing in the false prophets that have spouted rubbish about end days for the last few thousand years and will be doing so for the next MANY thousands!

Still can't prove me wrong? This maybe out of your league, but I'm writing to you with faith. It don't matter how long these scriptures have been written, it don't matter if people were still talking about the end-time prophesies thousands of years ago, the point is they are still pasting that very same message around today. From generation to generation still the believers believe in bible prophesy. And truth behind the veil, still exist. The bible gives many examples of signs that should warn us of the coming end of the age, six such signs were given by Jesus, two characteristics by Paul and the other eleven by prophets, to occur prior to, or soon after the end times coming. While we are also told we will not know the time and the end, God obviously wanted us to know when the time was getting closer. As the Christian Churches is increasingly drawn into the interfaith movement, and as more and more Churches go into isolation, preparing to sleep through the growing attracts on their faith, perhaps God knew it would take a few signs to wake us up and remind us all, that we have work to do. Unfortunately many Christians take the verses that tell us we wont know the time of his coming, to say, they ignore any and all scripture that might warn us of the time of tribulation. Others have falling into the trap of fearing being labelled a "conspiracy false prophet" should they display an interest in the biblical prophesies about our future earth. You must understand-God concluded it in the bible and, since, God is all knowing, we should trust' that is something we should know and study along with the rest of his word written in the bible. It is increasingly obvious the time of our Lord's coming is drawing near. Prophesy is being fulfilled daily, and at a faster pace ever before. Whether you believe it a pre-tribulation, wrath, and final Judgement matters not. The beginning of birth pains and the signs of the times should have the same effect on us all, giving us a more wanting to share to good news to others. I don't know where you are retrieving any of your information from, but I have news for you, God does care for his people, that is why the bible was written, though bible prophesy, and if 200,000.000 troops surrounded Israel at least God can say I had warned my people though bible prophesy. But don't feel alone, many who say they believe like you, when a disaster strict s, you will be the first to say I never seen that coming. But if it happened around your closers friends-family, you would be first to start cursing God. Why "God" have you allowed this to happen, why 'God" didn't you warn me? The Lord will say: I did' I had sounded the alarm time after time over and over and you have chosen to ignore my word. And as I write my scripts on end-time prophesies, you have been warned, all written in the bible is truth. So you can go back to your fairy-land Idea's of life, and leave bible scriptures to those who are really seeking. And if you don't want to read what is written, be wise and turn the page. Just as simple as that? Jesus Christ is Lord. KoloOyinbo: Nope I'm not female, very much Male and engaged to an Edo babe. I also not angry just amused at the short sightedness of folks who focus on detail meant to be metaphorical or allegorical (Does God really care if it is 200,000 or 200,001? Of course NOT! The number was meant to illustrate a point not be an exact limit).
As to proof - your question has been asked for the last two thousand years! It will continue to be asked for a least another two thousand I am sure! |
Christianity Etc › Re: Small signs to show The End Is Coming by brocab: 2:40pm On Feb 09, 2015 |
Maybe you should just relax, being angry won't win the war, its your choice if you believe or not, but you don't answer for those who believe in end time prophesies, the hole bible is a prophesy. We are all part of the body of Christ, and if you don't like how the body works, then your argument is with the Lord. No-one is forcing you to believe either way, it's not people who are scared of bible truths, its you. People like myself do see the changes, do watch the news, do listen to others, do watch, do study these changes matching it up with bible scriptures. I suppose you believe the twin towers are still standing? I seen them fall. And yet in bible scriptures say the towers had falling. I suppose Israel is not at war, and yet the bible scriptures, tells they are. Bible scriptures say 200.000.000 will surround Israel, people like myself are watching Isis, they say, they have those numbers. But until one is sure with scripture, we can only wait for the out come to rise up. So we warn our believers to watch, spread the word if one hears any changes. But you, you can sit back and rubbish what you call false prophets. but remember this, when ever the time comes, be ready because you don't know when the thief will come. Wisdom comes from the lord. Prove you are right, and prove me wrong-we are not in the end times. Even in Bible scripture Jesus and other prophets preach on prophesy about these end time events thousands of years ago. And you say, as quote-read the the wonderful messages of the bible, not just people of thousands of years ago and reflecting the culture and knowledge of the times. Well I don't know about you speaking out the prophesies that were spoken a thousand years ago, it puts a smile on my face, we can only be one step closer to the Lord. Maybe you should share some of those wonderful scriptures you are not frighten off. So if you follow Christ as you say you do, then believe in his own words about end time prophesy. Question are you a female? KoloOyinbo: Yes I follow Christ and study the Bible BOTH personally AND in a weekly study group. I fully understand what false prophets are and as there is little indication that we are in the 'last days' (news simply travels faster and wider but there was as much evil in the world two thousand years ago as today [perhaps more]) I regard most people preaching 'last days' to scare people as false prophets. Read the wonderful message of the Bible not just the words written by people of thousands of years ago and reflecting the culture and knowledge of the times. The metaphors and allegories are somewhat dated as would be expected but the MESSAGE is timeless! A message that will be as relevant THOUSANDS of years into the future as it is today! |

Maybe so, but it was man that pulled the trigger. Expressions: [img][/img]
You are not out of line, just the same way man decided to MURDER an innocent Envoy of God Who came to show man how he must live to avoid things like these and more....
Just like told frustratedman, I too do not believe in the illogical lovy lovy god created by religious fanatics. Even the image of Christ they create is different from what I see even in the Bible. Jesus was strongly against the plot to murder Him. Ymodulus you are not out of line in questioning the the believe in a god created by religious fanatics but your conclusions may end up being way farfetched. For instance:
Matthew 27:21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
27:22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
27:23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
27:24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
27:26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
They expressly preferred a supposed criminal and declared: "We will take responsibility for his death--we and our children!" There are more to this life than most myopic preachers teach!
Man must take responsibility for their actions you can only reap what you have sown.
That is Love... Justice!!!
You may say 'innocent children'. Don't bury your head in the sand like an ostrich, go and seek out answers for yourself, your entire existence depends on it; For reincarnation is a fact of life therefore no child born is 'innocent' per se. Seek aright for no human spirit can reincarnate as an animal or plant.. Seek amidst the confusion, since we feel we can murder every Truth Bringer with impunity, this time we must seek out the Truth to be set free. It's we man that must seek God not the other way round anymore. |

Talk about twisting ones words. You have twisted some of my words here I never mention Jesus asked the Pharisees to tithe. Even in Matthew 23:23 You pay tithes of mint and anise and cumin, and in that scripture don't talk about money, Mint, anise and cumin were herbs in those days. Wow" you will run me out of business, on my anti tithing quotes. What a joke. chysam: Bros your write up is lenghty but I tried to see exactly how tithing in 21century has corrolation with judaism practices. You mentioned christ asking the Pharisees to tithe. Could you please tell us to which religion they belonged. Again bros, while christ was talking to the Pharisees, where were his followers at that same moment?.When he turned back to his followers, did he ask them just like the pharisees to tithe?. Please give us reason for any answer you may have. I think the best way to understand this tithe issue clearly is to find out if christianity and judaism existed side by side.To my mind, they did.Do you believe this sir?.I want to assume you do just like me. Now help us answer this question too." Since Judaism and Chrisianity existed simultaenously.where was tithing taking place and where was it not taking place and why?". If you have a counter opinion about the existence of these two groups at the same time, please let us know. However if you agree, then bros we will now look into the reasons why on one side some people were tithing and receiving it,while just nearby a different group disobeyed. It is only from this point of view that people can reason with each other clearly. |

Firstly: God gave all the authority over to Jesus, so if Jesus wanted to change the laws, he has all the rights to do just that. Matthew 28:18, "Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on the earth. Go back to your bible, this time study the words. boxer022: What you are saying is that since Christ came to do away with the laws his father gave to His people. Which means that God and His Son Jesus are in enemity or they do not agree. God said inm the Bible that before he says any word, that word is refined seven times by him. God also that instead of any of his words which He spoke not to be fulfilled, Heaven and Earth should pass away. Talking of Sabbath, the same bible said that Jesus Christ is the Lord of Sabbath. All of the laws which God gave in the Bible, He said that they will be to the end of time. Christ been the Son of God cannot come and or do away with His Father's laws, as Christ and his Father are at peace |

Fasting and old testament commandments under the Law of Moses. The law of Moses specifically required fasting only one occasion-The day of atonement,Leviticus 16:29-30, 23:27-31, Numbers 29:7. Jesus fasted, most of the prophets fasted It's funny with some people they will use every scripture possible from every law given to try to prove some ridiculous truth, that tithing still exist. And the funny thing about all this, anger rises. Jeromejnr: Learn to rightly divide the word of truth.

No maybe not to you, But tithing sacrificing and offerings played together as a team. If you tithe, then sacrifice, then make your offer to God, not just pick one out the 3 and force people to tithe. Tithing was not a freewill, it was part of the Mosaic law. And when Abram paid a tithe to the King, it was not from his hard earned cash flow. Other then from the spoils of war, that didn't belong to him. Jesus said give. Acts 3:6 silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth rise up and walk. Peter did not expect to receive, Peter said rise up and walk. I don't give expecting a 100 or 60 or 30 fold to be returned back to me, I'm happy to see someone else receive a blessing from the lord. I retrieve my blessings when I study the word-seeking his kingdom, what greater blessings could ever beat that. The Lord knows my needs, before I ask him. And your other quotes don't make any sense. Jeromejnr: Tithing doesn't have anything to do with sin. The law showed us that we were sinful, so things in the law had to be followed. But tithing was of of free will, even though it was later added to the law. I didn't say if u didn't tithe you will go to hell.
Just the same way Jesus said for you to receive you have to give. That doesn't mean if you don't do it you are a sinner it just means you won't enjoy in the blessings of receiving what God has for you.
Titihing is a way we honour God and keeping our view of money in the right balance. So that the blessing promised from it can come into our lives and also for keeping the house of God.
And this storehouse you people have been shouting since. Where the Jews actually entering the storehouses themselves or was it the Levites? So now the church building does not have a storehouse. They don't need the money I guess. Let the pastors take care of it themselves. |

What's your point. phillip001: Heb 7 1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. 4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. 5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: 6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. 7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. 8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. 9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far month
re evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. 20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec 22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue
by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable
priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Go back to your bible? Hebrews 7: Here moral men receives tithes. Other words tithes were given to those who die. If you are such are believer in tithing then you should obey Gods commandments. Bring all your tithes into the storehouse,. God gave the command for the Jews to bring in crops, shocks, merchandise into the storehouse.. And if anyone who chose to follow that old Masaic law system must obey Gods commandments. Not their own, the Mosaic laws were guarded, before Jesus arrived, those laws were our tutor to bring as to Christ. They are not needed any more, {unless you haven't been saved as yet?} Just to be sure say this prayer- Lord Jesus, come into my heart, lord Jesus I believe, I believe you had died for me, and I believe that God the Father has raised Jesus from the cross, Amen. Once you have said: that prayer you don't have to live under that same law, you are now walking in the light with Christ. Old testament Mosaic law was for people who walked in darkness, people that died, not for the living, and every year, they brought in their tithes and sacrificing and offerings for the remissions of their sins. Law was made for those who sinned. Jesus had paid the price in full, we no-longer need to bring in a tithe or commit ourselves a sacrifice or give an offering to prove Jesus is wrong. Being a born-again Christian, now shows you are now walking in the light. Amen Jeromejnr: When Jesus was on earth had He received the title of the High Priest of the new covenant?
Did that Hebrews 7 actually annull tithing or was showing us an example wherein we are to follow?
What does it mean to be in the same order of something?
Quote scriptures to back up your claims and not assumptions of men (which is most of the time based on greed and lusts). |

You have a lot to learn. False prophets give false dates, and I don't think you understand what a false prophet is. And every believer knows they have nothing to fear if they follow Christ. As the Lord say's when you are walking though the shadow of death fear no evil. Luke 21:16-18, "You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will send some of you to death. "And you will be hated by My names sake. "But not a hair of your head shall be lost. So my end-time scripts don't put fear or offend other believers, but you alone. Scripture tells the word, the Lord say's in his words-Mark 13:32-"But of that day and the hour on-one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the father. Take heed watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. "It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and Commanded the doorkeeper to watch. "Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of that house is coming. V's 37, "And what I say to you, I say to all Watch. What do you think the Lord is telling you? When one looks into Matthew 24- Mark 13- and Luke 21, and scripture shows clearly, these same prophesies are even to this day, sound the alarm, prophets in the old testament done just that. How do you think the bible was written, Jesus told his story. prophets prophesied. The prophets were discriminated and murdered, even after they had prophesied, the Lord is coming. Anybody who have stepped out of their comfort zone, and spoke out about the scriptures have been discriminated, by calling them false prophets and other names, by people like you. But that's pretty cool, I must be doing something right. By their fruits you will know them. No-one is forcing people to come to God, everyone has a choice. When someone witness to the Lost, what do they do? What do you do? are any saved. We can argue this point for as long as it takes, or we can come to that peaceful place in our hearts, praying thank you lord you have people out their spreading the word of God across our nations. It don't matter how one is putting the message across, either way the word of God is spreading. I'm a watchman, and I will always spread end times events, warning the people who believe, and others who don't. The Lord uses people who are willing. Are you willing? I must say: you sound very religious. KoloOyinbo: Oh. As a Christian I have no problem believing the MESSAGE of the Bible and in Christ.

And who made this day & age money? Did God command you to change His laws. or lets say: you became like God and changed His laws. If you are choosing to follow the old Mosaic law system, then at least you should obey them the way God have written it to be. Bring your food into the storehouse. Who was it, who gave these rights to change Gods law? Jesus preformed miracles, He didn't use magic, and to see the yardstick turn into money, then it's magic, not a miracle. quote What do you use to purchase food or merchandise?? With your money buy food, bringing that to the storehouse, so the poor the lame will be fed. LaPink: My dear, unless you are a farmer, herdsman or anything of dat sort? What do you use to purchase food or merchandise?? Is it not d same money we are talking about. Tithe is a percentage of your INCREASE and in this day and age, d yardstick is money. I'm a anti-tithing secret agent too. Maybe if you studied hard enough reading the scriptures clearly, you will find you have been believing the lie, other then the truth. We have all been down that road, the same road you are on. The law that you have chosen to obey is part of the old Jewish Mosaic law. And being part of that law, you must tithe the way God had commanded his people to tithe. And in today's churches you tithers are doing the opposite, God said: bring all your tithes into the storehouse, crop, shocks, food, so the lame, the poor will be fed-these are the commandments God had given his people to do. You tithers are disobeying Gods commandments, you have decided to be Gods yourselves, you have changed the law on tithing, bring all your monies into the storehouse. And as for the world if anybody has any authority to change any laws, it's God and His Son Jesus Christ. Twisting the scriptures, you have lied to God's people, you will be rewarded by the Lord when the time comes. You have made the churches stand out to be like gambling casino's. Miss informing God's people-bring 10% into the storehouse, so God will bless you with a 100 fold, some 60, others 30, money back guarantee. What you are doing it's wrong, it's not scriptural. Jeromejnr: I have noticed from your posts that you are a very strong anti-tithing agent.
Maybe if you dig into the word of God more with the help of the Spirit you will see it is also for us today. Read Hebrews chapter 6, 7 and 8. Especially chapter 7 with an open mind. And do not be doubting but believe. It was even talked on extensively.
Abraham paid tithes 500 years before the law came and Isaac 250 years before the Law came. And according to Hebrews we are in d same order as when Abraham paid tithe to the one whom nobody knows much of. It is also stated the Levi's who came later on in the law also paid tithe to that mysterious king through Abraham.
Hebrews 7:8. Here Jesus who is testified to be alive receives our tithes as when Melchizedek received Abraham's tithe.
The old is a shadow of the new. As it says so in Colossians 2:17. |

When you think about it, tithing is a gamble, most tithers give a weekly 10%, then start praying to God for a 100 fold to be returned back to them. And every week, one don't receive, every week they give it another go. Its like playing the lottery-you got to be in it, to win it. In Malachi 3:8-12 bring all tithes into the storehouse. But its a shame, still to this day, tithers are disobeying the law on tithing. God said: bring your crops, shocks, food, merchants to the storehouse, so the poor the lame will be fed. But you tithers are doing the opposite, you are bringing money to the store house. And there's no law, given to anybody, in bible scripture to tithe with money. LaPink: Tithing is in d Bible, Read Malachi 3 : 8 - 12. But i don't support tithing for gamblers. |
