Bro. Its difficult to give this lecture here o. Just edit it in WORD. Make ur heading with eith Heading 1 or Heading 2. Then use the automatic table of contents and save as .doc

That's all. But it could be hard if u dont know much. If the book is not much in pages I may help you with the arrangement and reforward to you. If it's more than 20 pages, pls forget sending it to me. Also note that I am not talking about proofreading it for you. I am not making any typographic corrections, just formatting for kindle best view level and my assistance is still FREE.

I just published a book that ended up as 371 pages. And I wrote it in 15 days. It was about 47,000 WORDS.

I didnt even know I have improved my writing like that.

Since the ban on Naira Mastercard for international business, I depend on my payoneer card and income I make from amazon. I have paid for WES Certificate Evaluation (245 Canadian dollars) for a client planning to migrate to Canada, whose Naira Mastercard was declined, I buy things like Wrist watches (with working chronograph), USB led (lamp), power banks, T-shirts and shoes on aliexpress and sell them (note: things are cheaper on aliexpress than Jumia and Konga, but it take btw 2 - 3weeks to arrive because I use free shipment), I have used my payoneer card to pay for a lecturer journal article to be publish on an international journal and got the naira equivalent paid to me. Why am I saying all this? U can make a living if u take amazon kindle publishing serious.

For those that can't write, I will give u books (converted to kindle format by me) for N500 each and free cover design, this is just to encourage u guys. U can't make it on amazon with just one or two books, no way. I have 25 books already published on kindle and plans to make it 30 b4 next weekend, I have about 150 unpublished books, I just need to tidy them up, design covers for them, convert to kindle format and publish. The secret is keep publishing. Now the question is how do I get my books? This is a secret I share with only those in my inner circle.

Keep publishing and the recession won't even bother u. You can make up to $50 USD on the average every month if u have more than 15 books without promoting ur books and this figure can go as high as $500 per month with paid promotions (e.g amazon promotion, google adword promotion or facebook promotion). I promote my books using free alternatives such as twitter. One of my secrets is to open a twitter account ( with "oyinbo man pix" make una no blame me o, man must hustle), search for kindle books related topics and I will comment about the book on a trending hash tag, then I will drop a link to my book on amazon, men it converts very well though not up to paid advert. Planning to do paid advert when I am through with my website where I have all my books plus their links to my amazon kindle store. I don't intend to promote individual books, but a link to all my books, that way, I will carry all my books along in the scheme of things.

But for now, I am sticking to my twitter approach, and people who just come across my books and make purchase. I like it when I download may sales report in Excel format and scrutinize it on the 15th of every month, and I love those emails from Payoneer that screams "You have received payment" at the end of the month. This is what I do and it's been fun.

Anyone writing fiction should go to Amazon and look at this author's works. He/She has like 3 books at the moment. For me, everything about the books are perfect and seems like what will sell for a long long time.

I can relate with this testimony. You see, one can only share his story. What others do with it is their choice.

I had a similar experience in 2009. It was November 23 or 24, can't remember the exact day. I had bought everything I needed for my traditional marriage and set out for the east. I decided to stop over at Onitsha and see one of my uncle who was to play a major role in the marriage the next two days. My plan too was to sleep over his house and continue my journey the next day.

Somehow we arrived Upper Iweka around 8PM due to traffic on the way. The moment I alighted from the bus and headed out of the park with my bags, boys started surrounding me. The first person said, "nna wete ya", that is, "guy bring it". I ignored him, but before I could say jack, about 7 boys had surrounded me, saying different things. God empowered me then to start praying in tongues and I kept shouting blood of Jesus, Blood of Jesus.

Actually, I didn't know what I was doing because I was overwhelmed with fear. If these boys collect these clothes, shoe and this small money with me here now, what would I do?

But in what seemed like a flash, one of them shouted, "Nna, rapunu onye a ka o ga iru" That is, " Leave this guy let him move front".

And they dispersed.

When I told the story, my uncle and others could not believe it. They told me that it must have been a miracle because that people get robbed there every minute and get all their belongings collected from them.

I have had a few more experiences that I can relate with that also prove that there is power in the name and blood of Jesus.

You might also consider increasing the price. at $1 and 35 cents per sale for you, it might take a whole lot for you to break even.

His advise is worth much more than many books I have read on this business. He even gave me cover ideas. I'm really grateful and would remain grateful for his help, and please note @MK82, I will keep needing your help.

3. No. I dont do any external promo for now. May start that later in the process.

4. I have books that 60 pages. Some 190. some 200 + pages. I have just learned that the higher the number of pages the more value oyibo tend to think they'll get from it.

5. For now, I am writing on my passions and core call I have for my life. But I will soon branch out. I have learnt to just look for books that are selling and write on them. I have books that are not selling at all and ones that sell one-two-three daily.

If you just want to bold a portion without making it look bigger (heading), use this:

<b> this is bold text</b>

The h2 tag is a heading tag not so big, but very moderate and recomended in the amazon platform. h1 tags are bigger and h3 tags a bit smaller than h2.

What do u mean u were expecting a novel cover? Did I say I was going to design your cover for you. I sent you a template which should give you cover sizes and specs and you are still asking confused. At this stage, take your matter to a graphic designer in your street.

Enrol your book in KDP unlimited. This way you can take advantage of borrows. People can read your book without buying it. That is the blue lines in the graph i posted above. Amazon will pay you a small share for people who borrow your book to read every month. If u ask me, I think you should enroll your books on KU. But you wont publish it on any other platform for 3 months that is enrolled, but that is okay because Amazon controls over 70% of ebook sales in the world.
