Hi, I’m in the process of applying for a spouse visa for my partner. While submitting document for UK NARIC/Ecctis, can he submit a student copy transcript (student copy not official copy boldly written on it) or it has to be an official transcript as Unilag is taking forever to upload the official transcript

Hi, did you finally sent an unofficial copy?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by BrosMayowa(m): 6:38pm On Aug 05, 2022
Please does anybody know if ECCTIS accepts students copy for Visas and Nationality assessment?

Oh ok....thats fine then....
How can boys plug in...what roles are availble?

me and my guys simply applied online o. their equivalent of graduate trainee here in nigeria. but I have experience so i aimed for experienced roles. and we all managed to get one. it was on merit. I did 4 interviews and 2 case studies remotely.

If you are sound, just google and apply to any of these coy that can sponsor. they're very meritocratic. that's how i got it really. no plug or anything else.

Telling you to pay 3 years health insurance is harsh men....exchange rate is up the roof right now.....what kinda finance company cant cover health insurance for their staff...
..i feel you should negotiate more.
..if you have family that'll be more on your neck....

Oh every kobo related to my visa is refundable upon my resumption o.. including TB and ECCTIS. They just want me to pay it upfront. It's common in the industry and even tech consulting firms.

Booking for Medicals for UK TB examination, does the column for address in UK matter? What if an applicant does not have an address in UK?

There has to be someplace you're heading to upon your arrival, no? use that. I could have opted to use my sponsoring coy but I used a close friend's.
Travel / Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by BrosMayowa(m): 7:49am On Aug 01, 2022
My sponsoring coy has informed I will need to pay for the 3 year health insurance and visa fee. Does anybody know what exchange rate the UK home office will set? Do they typically use official or black market

And abeg, any passport plug here? Immigration no gree issue me my renewal since capturing on Jul 7th. My plug just dey disappoint person for this Ikoyi.
Religion / Re: Are You Maximising Your Talents For God? by BrosMayowa(m): 9:12am On Nov 14, 2021
This question ehn. Pastors dread it. I play bass but anytime I feel like making extra cash, considering my current church doesn't pay, I japa o.

And I tell them outrightly that I'm going elsewhere. They can't even object.

Talent was given to us by God but if that talent can put food on the table, best believe I'm commercializing it when and as I deem fit. They wouldn't ask a furniture maker to donate hundreds of hours to the church making furniture for free, would they?

pls does anyone know when they would get back to us and if this is the final stage?

I wanted to ask. But all my panelists were VPs from multiple units, so there was no one from HR I could ask — unless we call that lady in our email tho?

Yes. I’ve had a stint.

Panel of four, asking questions about your experience and what you’ve done. Like he said, google typical interview questions and have your answers ready. Overall the interview is more of a chat. Good luck to us all.

You had four there were six of them in mine on Monday. Throwing all sort of curve ball questions on the things I wrote on my CV. Omo, I’m exhausted. I really hope this is the last stage because I’m tired.

Bros, How was it..??

My brother... the usual o.. 8 panels. All of them throwing questions based on my experience in the industry and some technical too. More like 80%-20%. I've had a short stint so they heavily concentrated on the things I did and how I did them.

If you haven't had experience, it's most likely going to be different for you. But they seemed like very nice people. All of them. Would love to work with them.

Hopefully, we make it through.

seems like they have moved it to next week. Is anyone still scheduled for today?
Btw please does anyone have an idea what this interview would entail and what possible questions that would be asked?

Unlikely from the look of things. Also appears @4lay was scheduled for tomorrow. I am scheduled for this Thursday too.

God help us all. I wonder how many more stages or interviews we still have to go through.

Bro your own is pretty clear, it was Cancelled, me I didn't even get a Teams Invite, I didn't get a cancellation email, nothing, just that it's today, and the time will be subsequently sent to me, talmbout I'm one the 48 people and they'd like to meet me in person, (physical or virtual, I no even know)

I feel that 1 of this and 1 of that thing na lamba jare. Anyway, we’ll see sha. So what do you plan on doing?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Chapel Hill Denham Management Development Programme 2021 by BrosMayowa(m): 8:11am On Sep 21, 2021
Tokkson:

It has been cancelled already. So why do you still plan on going there?

Precisely my point. Going there appears fruitless. Imagine receiving another invite when I’m at Obalende grin grin

But I don’t like being unprepared sha. Maybe they’ll respond before 12. Since they haven’t canceled on the schedule for today, only a timing problem

the email was just so unprofessional, no time, no venue, I know it obviously has to be the Ikoyi office, but you have to put it there. I feel they'll tell us to go back, but I understand why we have to go, e dey pain me cos I no get that tfare to waste to go Yaba to Ikoyi, come back empty handed. Shaa, I hope they'll reply our mails maybe around 9, by then office don open, but I'll call the two numbers on their website and see if I can get a response

The email I got said: “times will be allocated and sent subsequently”. They didn’t even confirm whether it was virtual or physical until I received a Team’s invite scheduling me for 7PM only for it to be canceled about 4 hours later.

It’s actually confusing because what am I supposed to do now? Head down there when I only received a virtual invite? Plus, I’m not even prepared to head down there as it stands. I’m not in Lagos. E go pain me if it turns out they were expecting physical when they didn’t say anything o. E no just make sense.

Comrade, this matter don dey turn rough play o. If the matter don cast, make dem clear us naw.

You were scheduled for tomorrow, but at 8:40, you still don’t know what time.

As it stands now, I don’t even know whether to still prepare for anything tomorrow. E come be like snake and ladder.
